How old are you? EBay was founded in 95. I probably should have used my head and I mean the one 3 feet above my shoulders.[/quote] Jesus you have the longest neck ever. Lol

It's like beating a dead horse, this company needs to die.

Perception will always be reality and sadly despite the improvements TNA has made as a wrestling product, odd stuff like the Matt/Jeff stuff is just unbelievably cringeworthy, and paints it forever as minor league.

Can someone explain to me how Billy Corgan from the smashing pumpkins got involved in the first place. He loves wrestling. He was previously running a promotion in Chicago, and I believe nearly got involved when ECW was going under in 2001.

I grew up when his music was really popular and I knew that he was a fan, but I had no idea that he was qualified to book and help run a wrestling company. I haven't seen much TNA in a long time, but maybe he is helping. Seems he helps backstage when it comes to finances.

I definitely don't think he's hurting the on-screen product, because aside from the World Title Series last year, things have been really good since he joined. Not to mention, he's also really helped upgrade the quality of entrance music for some guys - like getting Manson for Decay.

The only thing I wish he had done was talk Dixie into keeping a lot of the talent WWE has now scooped up. It's a shame seeing that James Storm and Abyss are really all that's left from the originals.

Eh, while I would've liked to see some guys stay, I'm kinda glad TNA is moving on to pushing fresher guys. One of their biggest problems is that they've failed to create more guys like Roode, Aries, Styles, EY, etc. that can keep the company moving forward in the future. Right now, I think they have a really good mix of veteran talent and newer faces that keep me excited on a weekly basis.

TNA only let them go because they couldn't afford to pay those guys what they felt they were worth. AJ Styles left specifically because TNA offered him a lower contract just to try to save some money. If not for TNA's financial situation, AJ, Joe, EY, and Roode would all still be there.

Well, they definitely don't. He was able to get The Nobodies because he's friends with Manson.

I think the reason I originally gave up on TNA in the first place was because they brought in RVD and Jeff Hardy and started pushing other guys that at one time I was a huge fan of, but at that time frame they weren't what they were years before anymore and stopped pushing the home grown guys as much. Really put me in a bad place wrestling wise aside from ROH at the time. WWE hadn't interested me in years at that point, and anyone I still liked really wasn't drawing me in anymore and TNA was different. Then they stopped being different. It soured me for such a long long time.

And, for all intents and purposes, it's the thing that pretty much sunk them for good. I love TNA, and I hope they're able to keep going for a long while, but I can never see them reaching the amount of success they had during the prime years. If they do, it's going to take a long time. They've been off to a very good start the last two years, but they'll have to be consistently good for a few years to start winning people back, imo.

The turnaround was insane. The PPVs before you had Joe, Daniels, and AJ feuding for the title. Hogan and Bischoff come in: Daniels jobs to Val Venis, Joe gets kidnapped by ninjas, and AJ becomes Ric Flair Lite. Add the Nasty Boys, Bubba the Love Sponge, and Abyss getting superpowers from a WWE HALL OF FAME ring and you are guaranteed a stinker!
