Now that I have gone a little nuts collecting I want to start rotating what I have displayed.
I am looking for a storage idea kind of like a tackle box or craft box where each loose figure could have its own compartment.
Have any of you come across something like this? I have one for loose accessories and belts, but the slots are obviously too small.

Can't believe I posted this so long ago. I never found something exactly like I was describing.
Ended up buying a ton of poly bags and some larger storage bins to put stuff in.

I sometime use empty cardboard 6 pack holders. The best part is drinking the beer! (Or sodas if you aren't 21 yet, Thomas Kemper makes a good rootbeer)

But I recently started storing each of my loose figures in $0.75 plastic pencil boxes. And then I put them in a bigger bin.

Don't use a tacklebox. I would use a plastic storage tote

what about like a wine box? you could probably get scrap cardboard and make smaller dividers. could put quite a few figures in rows across, and probably stack two rows high

Do you think plastic storage totes are suitable for long-term storage, especially when dealing with a large volume of products? Where is the best place to store them?

Depends on what are you going to store...
