I'm going to an aldermanic debate forum. Beat that. I'd like to say I'm going... anywhere... but truth is I'll probably be sitting on my couch watching TV. Sadly, where I live the only bands that ever play within reasonable distance are country and 80s nostalgia rock bands. Diverse entertainment is the number one thing I miss from when I lived in Boston and Philadelphia. Central PA is a dead zone. Maybe I should take up cow tipping. I hear that's a hoot.

I really enjoy WWE House Shows because they almost feel like WWE's attempt at putting on an "indy" show. But then again the last time we've had anything else here that I've been able to go to was a Smackdown in 2005. We did have a Raw during the Summer of Punk but I went to a Volbeat concert that night instead. In hindsight I kinda regret it because I never ended up getting to see CM Punk wrestle live but I've seen Volbeat live like 3 other times. I saw Volbeat open for Metallica this past summer. I dug a lot of what I heard and even came to really like a handful of their songs, but am I crazy in thinking that a lot of their sh*t all kinda melds together after a while? You are not crazy in thinking that. They have very much figured out their sound and don't tend to deviate too far from that. Like it's not to the point like AC/DC where I can hear the beginning of a song and think it's one song, my friend thinks it's another and it ends up being neither but all start the same. But I have to take extended breaks where I'll go a long time binge listening to them because of their energy and then I'll stop for a few months before going back to them.

Yeah, but all the good venues in Boston closed, so why would you wanna leave the house anyway?

someone talk me out of entering the gauntlet under a gimmick name worse than Hugh Jass. I wrote one pun sentence and it'd totally work as a warm bodies participation roleplay, but I don't think the WFWF is ready for Peter File.

And if you tell me they closed too you will literally break my heart.

All of those sexy young boys in the gauntlet, it’s like a buffet. A buffet of sweat and testosterone. I’m gonna walk in there and gorge myself on all the young jolly boys of the WFWF and strap myself with the championship gold. You all stand no chance, when standing up against Peter File!

I dunno when you were last in town, but it's rough all over. I mean, the mainstays are all still in place, like, I got no particular bones with The Middle East or nothing, but even if you skip past the "classic" classics of yesteryear that everyone my age only pretends to have gone to like The Channel and The Rat and all that? Like, TT's? Gone. The Abbey? Gone. Axis and Avalon? Gone. Cambridgeport? Gone. All Asia? Gone. It's like all my friends that pulled me out of the rut I was in during that spell when I spent way too many nights at the Manray (also gone) are just dead. It's the worst.

Great character work. I thought that pic was Jake Roberts from 15 years ago while scrolling.

Moved away just about seven years ago. Sounds like a lot of the places I used to hang out are no more

People like him with their synthesized bullsh~t are why hip hop and rap are so f~cking awful these days. I miss the days of good rap music being glorified instead of this trash.
