Last show I went to was Motley Crue in Miami on their final tour last year. It was great. There isn't any band out there now enticing enough for me to spend money to see live though.

I need to get back into the local music scene. I used to go to local dive shows after I turned 21, but now the closest I get to the local scene is when Wednesday nights roll around and Mark Madden (yes that guy) plays unknown, unsigned Pittsburgh musicians for three hours, nine to midnight unless there is a Pens game on. It's basically the best music on standard radio to me. The channel is primarily rock, but he'll play any tapes that come in of any genre as long as they're censored for the radio. Each band gets a shout out after, and when and where their next gig is if they provide it. Really chill.

The biggest show I've been to is Alabama about fifteen years ago. Biggest show I've gone to solo is Christian Kane, Malakai's pic base.

Ew, double post.
Trying to figure something out. Do I buy a ticket to go watch Bound For Glory and be subject to potential self-induced torture from watching a TNA show?

I've not really watched any TNA newer than about 2007.

EC3 and Eli Drake are pretty entertaining. Lashley is solid too. The rest is hit or miss.

I can't justify any "just because" shows anymore. The last time I did that was a Smackdown in April of last year. It was cool for being my first big production live show in 14 years, but considering the most memorable thing about it was a Flair line that got cut out of the eventual broadcast, it kinda put me in a place where I only wanna catch either something starkly unique, or something that's bound to be a sure fire win. Since then, my only non-indy ticket buys have been two NXT house shows and the brand split draft, which was underwhelming, but still gave me Rollins vs. Ambrose as a main.

I have always found WWE shows underwhelming live. I have way more fun at indy shows and the like.

The NXT road shows are 2 for 2 with me, but I think I'd probably pass on anything more than a main roster house show at this point. Chaotic is still my main squeeze - I've just been a little underwhelmed with their main angles as of late, and they're gonna need a bit more than the likes of Ryback or - ugh - Teddy Hart to sucker me past that.

Teddy Hart and Ryback, wow, that's.......something. They usually bring in at least one decent name to drive sales to their big events. I know the Ryback deal is over their big meet and greet extravaganza they do every summer getting cancelled like 48 hours prior to the show this past year. They do this bit once a year where they try to pack in a couple of past their prime "legends" working the indy scene, and with that cancelled, they're trying to get a couple of one offs in to make good on the advertised appearances. Problem is, they're bringing in Ryback to try and fill a room they'd previously filled by bringing in Cody Rhodes at the start of his BC run. Teddy Hart? I dunno. I'm guessing JT Dunn must've vouched for him or something after working him at some indy bit up in Maine, but I don't touch any show putting him on the card.

I never liked Ryback until his podcast which I now listen to regularly. He is entertaining on that with his co-host Pat Buck. Pat Buck's promotion, WrestlePro, is a good promotion with good matches. The only bad thing is they run in Jersey. Teddy Hart has always cracked me up. He is such a wack job. His episode of The Art of Wrestling was so entertaining. I haven't seen him wrestle in probably ten years though. The best guys on the indies I like to watch these days are Jeff Cobb and Keith Lee. I love how quick and athletic those fat guys are.

I really enjoy WWE House Shows because they almost feel like WWE's attempt at putting on an "indy" show. But then again the last time we've had anything else here that I've been able to go to was a Smackdown in 2005. We did have a Raw during the Summer of Punk but I went to a Volbeat concert that night instead. In hindsight I kinda regret it because I never ended up getting to see CM Punk wrestle live but I've seen Volbeat live like 3 other times.

That was the match that introduced me to Keith Lee. I knew who Cobb was from watching Lucha Underground. Now I watch anything I can find with either of them.

I dug a lot of what I heard and even came to really like a handful of their songs, but am I crazy in thinking that a lot of their sh*t all kinda melds together after a while?
