E36 DDP is no more ginger than DDP is in real life, which is to say that DDP actually is sorta ginger. Yes, it's true that his hair had blonde dye in it while he was wrestling, but he was never a platinum blonde like Flair or Hogan. DDP's roots were darker which made him look like a ginger with blonde tips, or more dirty blonde. The legends DDP was way too blonde. This DDP isn't quite blonde enough, but is closer than the legends one.

Normally Ill pick up a Mattel Head like Andre but after the Les Gold Im on crack Hulkster fail I dont see BJS as a great improvement unless you did a repaint so once again this is the only TRUE Giant of Wrestling Figures The Jakks CS BJS While I agree with you that Mattel needs to stop giving guys orange/red hair. I have to disagree on the RSC Hogan. Yeah it did look weird in the pics but in person the head looks good and great from certain angles.

Nah not that hogan thats ok and most of the others too BUT Im talking the DM crack head one with the holes in its head , horrible Les Gold headsculpt and terrible greasy hair way to far back for a 85 Hulkster Brother ! But you got it that nasty orange red hair mattel is in love with sticks out like sore thumb the more and more they use it and did you notice they never use highlights ? BJS shouldve clearly been highlighted and how dont you give him his Iconic red robe ?

Other than the face the two figures look great. Jakks made a better toy IMHO. It had more accessories and cost less than half what Elites usually go for. Hmmm... I think it's a bit unfair to compare the prices of mid 2000's figures to current ones - I've noticed prices for all toys seem to have sky-rocketed these past few years: I remember in mid-late 2000's buying Marvel Legends for about £8.99 or £9.99... now they currently retail for a whopping £22.99(!). Star Wars 6" Black series are £21.99. Batman Animated are about £20. It's crazy... even the Mattel Elites started off at £12.99 here back in 2010/2011... now they're £17.99 - an extra £5 in 5 years. I'd be interested to see what a Jakks CS figure would retail at, if it was made today... I guarantee you, they'd be quite a bit more than they were during 2004-2009.

Jakks Deluxe TNA figures, which came with accessories cost around 10 dollars not more than a year ago.

Big fan of the Mattel Studd. The beard and hair color is slightly off, but this is definitely the one to get for those who never bothered with the Mattel version.

To be fair though, VERY few came with the sort of accessories the CS and Elite figures have... most of them were just a figure. Plus, they were TNA figures... the WWE brand/licence is probably much more expensive.
