Nice work as always, that Waylon Mercy is pretty cool. What did the shirt come off of? Honky Tonk looks good too, nice smooth painting and all around clean figure. Keep it up!

You are so much better than this import. I don't know what is up with you lately but your painting skills have been lacking for awhile now. That is not a knock on you though, it is that I know you can do a lot better. I think both are solid figures...and the fact that someone on this board even remembers Waylon Mercy makes me extremely happy and not so old.. but back to the figures. I think they are solid. But the tattoos on Waylon look extremely sloppy. If you want to go for a realistic look you can either use a pencil and put some sealer over it. It won't smear. Or you can get a really thin paintbrush and mix in black with just a tad of skintone to make it really pop when it is painted on, it will look realistic and not like a god damn sharpie marker. The rest of Waylon looks good. Painting is clean and the added shirt is a nice touch.
The Honkey Tonk man is nice. But doesn't really pop out as anything special to me..
You were on the right track to being the next M2K, NBT, Ck, Baity, or Scorpio. So step it up man. I know you could do better.

Hey Thanks for the tips about the color of tattoo's i will use that tip the next time i do a custom with tattoo's. As for doing better well these are just a few ebay whores. It took longer on the head mods on Waylon then to do both figures. The Waylon head is a combo of 3 heads Taker base,Kennedy face,Bishcoff mouth. But thanks for the tips and to even be tought of with these guy's M2K, NBT, Ck, Baity, or Scorpio is a honor. Oh yeah keep your eye out for my SNME & PPV custom.

Very nice figures I must say. I wish Jakks would make Waylon Mercy before the line ends!

I really like both figures. Waylon is an original, and hell of a job on the three head combo. You captured his look and made him work. Tat work looks good, but I think if you followed Sandman's tips they might come out better. I'm not great at tattoos, so I'll try using his tip as well.
I really like the honky, smooth and clean, nicely done.

I gotta be honest, I don't like Mercy at all.
To the best of my knowledge he rarely wore wrist tape, but perhaps the picture you were going by he was wearing some. He's missing all three of his tattoos on his right arm(Redemption, Torment and Suffering) and you could have gone either way on his chest tattoo(Crucify). I would've liked to have seen him in a black belt, but that's just a personal preference.
He didn't wear such a low-cut shirt. He wore a white "wife beater"-esq tank-top. He also wore wrestling boots, not dress shoes.
It looks like the singlet top and pants are painted together towards his left side, and the wrist tape seems to painted together to the forearm.
As for the comment "the fact that someone on this board even remembers Waylon Mercy makes me extremely happy and not so old" is ridiculous. The man was around 13 years ago, not 30. Anyone who doesn't know who Waylon Mercy is doesn't register as a wrestling fan and doesn't deserve to be thought of as such.

Mercy looks ok. The head modding looks good, and looks somewhat like him, so good job on that. One of my main gripes is the lining on the singlet could be much neater.
HTM looks good for a simple custom for Ebay. Hopefully you could make some money off them.

If you took a survey of the average age of a WF user I guarantee it would be somewhere along the lines of 15-16. I know that may come as a shock to someone as old as you who may be spiking the average to an older age due to the fact that I'm sure you were going through puberty waiting for your b**** to drop when I was barely being conceived. I'm sure most (not all) on this board wouldn't even remember The Ringmaster.. and you expect them all to remember Waylon Mercy? It was a joke dude. Calm down.

The painting around the edges of Waylon's singlet could be better. I can see where it has run onto the skin, same for the wrist tape. But the HTM is incredible.

Age has nothing to do with it, if these people were as passionate about wrestling as they say they are then they'd be watching wrestling as often as they could. I guess if a wrestler doesn't have a Classic figure or a WWE DVD based on them then they're not worth knowing about.
Also, if I was going through puberty before you were born then I guess you'd be thrown into that 15-16 age group, maybe younger. You'd be surprised how many people on this board actually know about wrestling, of course you couldn't tell that from the overwhelming number of newer fans that are on here.
In case a mod is reading this, this is not an argument, but a discussion. Sorry for spamming your thread Import, but Mr. Sandy doesn't respond to PMs.
