Here is my attempt at Jesse and Festus. I am pretty excited about the Jesse figure and am most proud of the design as I surprised myself with how nice I think it came out. Festus on the other hand is nothing special since his tattoo looks like crap and that is really the only thing that makes him unique. Love/Hate just let me know what you think.






I couldn't find any pictures of the back of his singlet so I tried to carry out the idea of the front with just a few variations to make it fit the shape.






I have a 1 1/2 year old son so let's all just pretend he did the tattoo to help Daddy out.


It is a little hard to tell in the photo but I did his stubble by sanding the face with fine sand paper then painting it and wiping it off with my thumb. In person it looks better than the Jakks stubble.


Again I wanted to try something different so I painted his hair and the worked the top over with a dry brush so that it looks thinner and stringier than the bottom. I figured as long as the fig. didn't turn out super special that I might as well try some new techniques.

I like them, I was going to try to make a jesse out of a kash head. It looks great man.

Looks great. The designs on Jesse's attire are phenomenal and realy well done. You actually got a great likeness going too. Festus as you said hasnt got much to him but your custom looks great. Really nice work there.
