Holy sh*t cam newton folded lol I really can't think of any other quarterback in the entire league, back ups included, that wouldn't dive on the ball. what a disappointing performance from cam

What I was hoping would happen. I knew if Denver's D could get after him he would fold like a lawn chair. He has done it his entire career, but you dont see defenses like that often.
He feasted on an easy schedule this yr, and played great even in the playoffs for 6 qtrs. Az self destructed and Seattle did for a half.
Cam is good but rattles easily. He holds the ball too long, takes hits, and his mechanics go to crap when faced with pressure. He still does his pouty crap too. They will still probably dominate my Falcons for the next 5yrs though

They will still probably dominate my Falcons for the next 5yrs though he did it a couple years ago in the Divisional game against the 49ers. Our D was all over him and he was sacked like 5 times and threw 2 INTs even though they were a damn good team we beat them by 2 TDs. Much like tonight really. I just assumed Carolina would win because Denver's Offense couldnt score in a brothel with a fist full of twenties.

Good game, it was as i expected which was very defensive, i wanted Carolina to win since the season they had was a great one but Cam could do a thing and his limited WR corps was exposed.

Denver's offense is so bad, that it would take an insane effort by Denver's D to win and that is what happened. Denver did nothing offensively tonight except one or 2 drives that led to FGs. I see Newton nearly every week and he is human. He is good but pressure him,and he struggles like others and moreso than some top tier guys. Not all Cam's fault, their weakness coming into the season was WRs and OLine it just took 19 games for it to show up.

Between this and the AFC Championship we just watched some all time great defense by Denver. I have to imagine this is about how close you can get to seeing a defense completely carrying a team to a Superbowl, especially in this era.

Holy sh*t cam newton folded lol I really can't think of any other quarterback in the entire league, back ups included, that wouldn't dive on the ball. That will haunt him. It'll be ammo for the Internet and sports analysts until he is able to win one. "Cam Newton, the prototypical superstar not willing to sacrifice when the game is on the line." BTW, his post game interview was a joke. I understand they lost, but that was borderline unprofessional. Yes, if you can't tell, I am not a Cam Newton fan. Haven't been since he was at Florida.

Doug Williams sitting on his couch right now like, "Yep...still the only one" Does he not classify himself as "multi racial" I think he's like black, white, Native American and something else?

I have to imagine this is about how close you can get to seeing a defense completely carrying a team to a Superbowl, especially in this era. Swami was talking about that on the post game show on ESPN, then they showed all of the top defenses since '92 that have made it to the Super Bowl. The only time a top D made it and lost was last year. But I don't think we'll ever see anything quite like this again, as you said literally carrying the team to the title and not just aiding them.

what a miserable crapbag game that was. just a slop fest from top to bottom. I wasn't a fan of it either. I am just happy Peyton won however he needs to retire... I am also really happy that Peyton didn't win Superbowl MVP because his ass didn't do sh*t!

Just saw Cam's press conference...what a c ck sucker. He transitioned back into Pouting Cam with ease. Whenever they're winning, he's a happy personable guy. When they lose, he pouts so hard with nose bleeds.
