TO should have went in before any WR on the list. Im not sayin Harrison or Holt werent HOF, Harrison absolutely is...Holt I think is borderline but TO should have been a lock. Im glad Eddie D FINALLY got in.

As obvious as it was I'm really happy to see my childhood hero (Favre) get in 1st ballot. Also nice to see Kevin Greene finally get in.

Also, hopeing for a Denver win tomorrow. I think their defense can keep it close.
I think they will pressure Cam and hopefully he becomes erratic Cam.
No confidence in the Denver offense though. Hopefully they don't completely crap the bed. Expect Carolina to win, but Manning, NFL, SuperBowl, sunset, sounds familiar.

Anyone bitching about Berry winning Comeback Player of the Year doesn't have a heart.

I'm gonna Kanye it up here. No disrespect to anyone who got in this year...but I think Warner and TO should have been on that list as well.

Would have been nice if Ken Stabler was still alive when they decided to finally elect him in. I'll never understand the logic in why some people end up waiting thirty years.
And TO not even making the top ten is lol.

A little surprised Kurt Warner didn't get in this year, who's gonna to 1st year eligible next year?

A little surprised Kurt Warner didn't get in this year, who's gonna to 1st year eligible next year? Off the top of my head, Ward, McNabb, Dawkins, Sanders, Ochocinco, Haynesworth (lol), Weigman(?), Porter. For those likely: Sanders is a former DMVP but was always overshadowed by that offense, Ward's got two rings and a member of the 1,000/10,000 club but never considered the best WR in the league, and McNabb had every credential until he arguably played himself OUT of the Hall of Fame.

I would assume Hines Ward has the best shot of getting 1st out of that group.

Ready to get this game started. I think the Panthers are going to win. But I wouldn't be upset to see Peyton win one more.
Ten years ago I was at SBXL watching the Steelers defeat the Seahawks in Detroit. It was a moment I'll never forget.

I am mostly pleased with the Hall of Fame.
Kevin Greene is ridiculously overdue and it is about time. The guy was one of the best linebackers of all-time and was a beast on the field, even in old age. I don't know why they took so long.
Favre is Favre, no comment needed.
Eddie D was deserved and I am glad to see that.
Marvin Harrison was overdue, so I am happy to see him inducted.
Orlando Pace was a no brainer.
Stabler should have been in long before now, and it is sad it took him dying for them to realize it.
Tony Dungy I kind of have a problem with. I don't think he is a Hall of Fame coach, and the only reason he is considered a HOF coach is because he was the first black coach to win a Superbowl. Which is nice. I like Dungy despite him being the worst commentator of all-time. But his coaching record is littered with regular season teams that constantly and consistently failed early in the Playoffs year after year in Indy and Tampa before finally winning. Gruden took his same team, applied better coaching, and finally won the SB. I feel there are coaches who are better who are not in. Dungy is a very good coach, not a HOF coach.
As far as snubs, T.O. had to wait mostly because there has been a logjam of WR waiting for years. They are clearing it out, but that is the main reason. No WR short of Rice is getting in on their first try. His attitude is reason #2, which isn't fair but it's what it is. He'll get in the next few years for sure. He is just going to have to wait like Art Monk, Harrison, Cris Carter and others did.
Morten Anderson absolutely should have been in. I think it will happen eventually. But the NFL just refuses to put kickers and punters in despite how deserving they are. I know it isn't a sexy position. But Morten is the best kicker of the 80's and 90's by far and arguably the best ever. He is the #1 scorer in NFL history by over 100 points, ahead of #3 by 300 points.
Warner didn't make it this year because of Brett Favre. And his career was a fairly short sample size. He will get in. It just may take a year where there aren't other better QB candidates.

Cmon panthers. Can't let that drug bag manning cheat to get another ring. The man had my respect but now he's like Barry bonds to me. Great hall of fame career but had to be selfish and break records and try to get another ring. It's all fraudulent now.

The WR log jam's only gonna get worse in the next couple of years with Ward, Ocho, Moss and Wayne entering the fold in the upcoming years among others I'm sure.

Hell, he's 55 now and I'd probably STILL want him as my kicker over half the guys in the league right now.

I think it's gonna be a close game, though. Should be fun.

Ya know, if everyone took a shot every time Phil Simms said something stupid, we'd all be wasted by kickoff.
