DA Billy Gunn (second custom)

So here's my second customizing attempt. I think it turned out pretty well. It's simply a Helms figure, headswapped and painted.














The only part I'm a little disappointed in is the Mr. Ass writing. I'm not very good at printing with a paint brush, even though I'm using literally the smallest shortest tipped brush you can get. Any suggestions/pointers/other tools to use?

Also, you can't tell in the pics but the pain started to get a little clumpy and almost peel off a little bit in some parts. Kinda hard to explain but any advice for avoiding this in the future?

make use of primer first, then use clear coat at least twice after you paint, that should prevent chipping.

wow man for a second custom thats pretty good. to be honest for any custom its good. great job. if this is only your second i cant imagine how good they will be once you start making more keep it up man =)

Its a nice custom, nut i think there is one problem, the head seems a little high

looks great for a second custom, im not sure if Billy wore kickpads or laced up boots. For the writing i suggest using a tooth pick, great things to use for small details!

Wow i like it 9/10 its really good and espesially for a 2nd custom, i would be happy to buy that if i saw it in any shops, and wih i could make them like that too!

i like the harts and the mr ass writting as good too! shame about the chipping paint!

but still a great custom!

Looks spectacular and it's only your second custom. You have awesome painting skills. The painting is clean and smooth. The neck is a little too long but the rest of the custom looks flawless.
