Wow, this is one hell a show! Great job to everyone involved. Loving these customs, I'll give more thoughts later but I wanted to stop in and congratulate everybody on doing so good on all of these.

As for the two custom debacle.. Scott Hall doesn't want to pick one as per this explanation:

"I put so much work into these. I didn't even get to help choose the stip. I was just told that 1996 was the stip. I spent hours looking for ref pics and had to watch the match ten times over just for little details that I couldn't find in pictures. My customs represent one of the biggest matches of 1996. It was the first time Liger was ever un-masked. It was huge for NJPW and japanese wrestling overall. I didn't do 2 customs to gain an upper hand, I just felt that one didn't make sense to me without the other. How can people get upset? They had the same amount of time that I did. They should've made a clearer stipulation. If it's that big of a deal, D-Q me. I just have a hard time choosing one, when I put so much time/energy into both."

Lame. I withdraw from the match under protest. And yes I know I'm probably not going to win, but you need to stick to the rules and it's not fair to Beyondo or myself. Every competition that's been done on this board has been one custom verse one custom(with the exception of tag matches which are stipulated). You can't bend rules for certain members because of some kind "loophole". Have some integrity. Please take my photos off the first page please.

Yeah seriously...I know I'm not going to win, but it's not fair to Beyondo, or to any other customizer on the show for that matter. I'm sure some other people may have made 1 or 2 customs they didn't use, and they didn't get the same special treatment.

You chose the open ended stip, which I disagreed with. You never replied, so I ran with the ball. You can do as many customs as you like. If you and Guster are so upset, maybe you guys should team up. I can find a partner.

As for the whole scotthall 2 custom debacle, becca made an official ruling, and Muta will be the one judged, not Liger. And there will definitely be a new rule concerning multiple customs.

I'm not "so upset" about it, I just didn't understand why you turned in two customs. Did you honestly think a 6/10 and a 7/10 = 13/10 and you'd be unbeatable?

I am going to post my votes in bold for each match.

Match 1

Tibbs, this figure could of turned out a lot better with some minor changes. I would of liked to see a Regal torso and arms for him and cleaner lines with the painting but other than that it turned out nicely. Angus, I have to say this is the best figure I've seen from you, it really did turn out well. I like the torso mods and the parts choices for him but I wish you could get some better photos as sometimes it's hard to judge your figures. Either way you are the winner, good work.

Match 2

This Hakushi looks good, JPG. I like how well the writing turned out on his torso and arms and the parts and skintone work well for him. Only gribe is a cuple spots in the skintone painting look clumpy but no biggy. MegaWarlord, it's probably a decent figure but the pics are killing my eyes and making it hard to judge anything, wish I could see more.

Match 3

All I can say is very original on Titantrap's part! The removable leg is a genius and the parts work so well for Zach Gowen. Also nice addition of removable shirt and shorts on top of a smooth paintjob. Razor, the Sean O'haire figure looks good too, I like the parts choice a lot and the painting appears nice but it just can't top that Zach Gowen figure.

Match 4

GateCitySinner gets my vote on this, both are good figures for sure but hot damn that Louie Spicolli figure looks amazing! I love the way you pulled off the 1 strap down look and overall great sculpt job on this figure. Painting is smooth as Madonna's bottom...hey he was her boyfriend! Import, this LP version of Boogey is a real original idea too and I like the way everything looks, it just couldn't top GCS's figure this time.

Match 5

Wow you guys are going to make this one tough! Both of these figures look fantastic in there own ways, I love the posed Douglas as hes a favorite of mine and I did love that promo but I'm also digging the Michael Bisping equip with punching bag and contract. Both have smooth painting and parts choices work really well for both people. Honestly I'd vote for both if I could as they are great in there own ways but I'm going to lean towards Oozing Machismo's Shane Douglas on this one due to how well the sculpting looks.

Match 6

All three of these figures are fantastic and this is also quite a hard match to decide but I've gotta do it. I'm going to eliminate Me Gusta Guster's Taker figure first, not because it's bad but because it is the 3rd best in this particular match, great figure but touch opponents. Both the Mankind and Muta figures are so beautiful with all the sculpting ya'll did on these an to top it off with such a nice paintjob right down to the details on Foley's forearm hair and Muta's green mist. Honestly this match could of gone either way but on this day I think Beyondo had the best figure. I really dug all three of these, nice job.

Match 7

Wow, great matchup to save for last. Love the time period of these figures and the gimmicks chosen. The Goldust figure is such an original idea and was pulled off flawlessly. The Ahmed Johnson figure was too superbly made here as well. Sculpting on Ahmed is my favorite thing on FamousJ's figure, love the torso mods. Gore really painted this attire well on Goldy, the and I like all the added accessories to this. It's so tough to pick a winner is this contest. One of the closest matches tonight winner goes to FamousJ.

The fact that one guy gets to make 2 figures makes absolutely NO SENSE. Pick one. If we are not judging both figures and one is just for show, why even take a picture of the other? It is unfair to do that I don't care what reasons are given out.


Anyways Beyondo did an amazing job on the mankind custom. It looks lifelike including the tears and rips on the top. The paintjob is phenomenal stuff. Overall just an amazing figure.



Famous J. Wow. How many Ahmed Johnson figures have ever been made, dating back to quirk? Probably less than 2 handfuls. Who on this board even remembers him? Haha. I loved Ahmed Johnson, great entertainer who just got injured far too much. Anyways if this was sitting in a store I would pick it up immediately. It looks like it was manufactured by a toy company. There are absolutely no flaws. You even included the tape on his nose. Now that is attention to detail. I love it. I thought he had tattoos though, I don't see any. I could be wrong though.


Overall great competition but I just voted on the ones that really caught my eye. I will give my votes for the rest later.

Dude, I'm sorry. I did have to look at your fig for a while before I decided on the other. I hope you can take creative criticism, cause if not, your gonna get mad. But, you figure to me looked like a massive explosion of colors. You need to take better pics, because as far as I could tell, that really IS what it looks like.
