Nick/Angus-
I'm going to go with Nick on this one. The parts all work. I believe the tights I believe are printouts, but it looks good. I don't like the hair, it's all the same length in the front, it should be different length at different areas, and it should be darker, then it would look better. Angus' Cannon is too tall, and I don't like the head. The best body for him would be that of a CS8 Blassie w/ Regal arms. Cannon is a shorter stocky man. I know from personal experience, I met the man back in May. Good guy.
TCKDEEN/GCS-
I'm going with GCS's Storm. I really like the torso on it, and the tights look very clean. I really hate the TTL torso on the Cage. It makes it look very strange. For whatever reason, I think of that Eatchipz guy when I see it.
Also with the other one, I'm going with GCS's Corino. Partly because of the fact that I see tons of Owen Harts. Back in the day, there were like tons of Corinos, but that is the first DA Corino I have seen. The Punk head looks great.
Whydraft2/ROZZ-
I'm going with ROZZ. Whydraft2's Mortis looks good, but I'm going with ROZZ based on originality. I have never seen a Max Moon before. You ROZZ sir pulled it off very well. The colors are very vibrant, and the sculpting is very good.
Bartman/Jay-
I'm going with Jay. I like the singlet design on Jay's better, and the fact that it has the actual singlet mold, as opposed to the painted on one on Bartman's.
Gore/HR2X-
I really like both figures, but I'm going to have to go with HR2X here. Both look really good, I saw the Raven at the Gold Club, and I liked it, but HR's Stevie is just excellent, it blew me away. I absolutely love the modding. The T-shirt and the jeans look amazing. Simply put, It really makes me think of a Stevie I made back around 2 years ago for a customs tourney. I believe I made it to the last round of it, I made a figure of The Wall in the 4th round, and I believe I lost to a Bruiser Brody that was made by you Gore. Strange.
FamousJ/Jay-
Just like the last match, I really like both figures. I'm going to go with FamousJ. Both look very good, but I'm going with FamousJ based on the cleanliness of the paintjob. I really like the mask on the Muta, but something about the pecs look stange, they kinda stick out, kinda breast-like. It looks good though, but everything on FamousJ's Mortis is very smooth and clean. The torso on the Muta looks kinda rough imo.
Lots of good work people. I like this sorta thing going on. It kinda livens up the board. Kinda like how the old tourneys used to be before people stopped submitting shit. I like this kinda thing. Deen, you are providing a good service to the board by putting this together. Great Job good sir.

Okay first off before anything else, I just want to say to all who entered what great customs you guys made. Seriously, there's some insane talent on this forum. Now here's what I think were the best customs:
For the Nick Maniwa vs. Doctor Angus "wf's most hated" match, I'd say the better custom was Nick Maniwa's Chuck Taylor. Just by going on what looks more presentable, my vote definitely goes to Nick. The face actually does look like Chuck. I really would like to give my vote to Doctor Angus but comparing his custom to the reference picture that's right behind it, I really don't see much of a resemblance at all other than the outfit. And what's up with his eyes there? He looks like he's taking a mean sht. lol no offense mang, the outfit looks fine but the better custom between these two was definitely Nicks. \
For the TCKDEEN vs. gatecitysinner NO DQ Match, the better custom definitely was gatecitysinners Lance Storm. Don't get me wrong guys, I LOVE Christian Cage but I'm really not feeling that Christian Cage custom at all. Everything is dead on for the most part: he's got his tattoo lookin alright and the wristbands are of the right length, it's just that his chest and arms look WAY too bright. I don't know, it could be his camera but it kinda looks to me like this Christian bathed himself in some baby oil and suffered some permanent shine. The Lance Storm on the other hand looks great. He's definitely got the right chest and arms for Lance AND the legs and boots along with the knee pads and kickers, this is most definitely a picture perfect Lance Storm. Obviously a WCW Lance Storm although he has worn this outfit once in ECW and def in Japan. All-in-all, gatecitysinner wins hands down with a flawless Lance Storm. The head hoice kinda has weird hair but for the most part, it can most definitely pass as a Lance Storm. Big Lance Storm fan, most d3f an underrated wrestler.
For the TCKDEEN vs. gatecitysinner Stipulation: Canadian Wrestlers match, my vote AGAIN goes to gatecitysinners Steve Corino. It's a real close one to call because both outfits on both customs are spot on perfect. My only beef with the Owen Hart is that I can never make the connection with Owen Hart's face and a Billy Kidman face which I THINK this one is. I could be wrong but whichever head this guy used, it doesn't remind me of Owen Hart. The outfit most definitely does but the head does not. That Steve Corino though, soon to be MY Steve Corino just looks dead on. I'm not saying that just to be biased because its a custom made specifically for me, I'm saying this because it does look dead on. I have like 3 Steve Corino tapes and the likeness is just right, everything from the wrist tape to the trunks down to his cowboy boots. This is the same outfit he wore in ECWs November To Remember PPV where he beat Sandman and Justin Credible for the ECW title. You put the ECW strap on that figure, you got a custom that can sell for a lot. D3f winner here, gatecitysinner. Not taking away anything form TCKDEEN, the Owen Hart outfit looks great. It's just that I never ever saw the connection between an Owen Hart head and a Kidman head. Sure they have similar expressions but they look nothing alike.
For the whydraft2 vs. ROZZ Stipulation: Masked Wrestlers match, I gotta give my vote to ROZZ. Dude a Max Moon custom. I haven't been on this board for too long but a Max Moon custom is d3f rare to see especially with wrestling nowadays. You gotta give credit to where credit is due, both these guys threw it down hard on these customs. Incredible attention to detail on both these customs. Though Mortis DOES look more like Mortis, Max Moon gets my vote simply on it's a custom no one ever really thought to make. Like the dude that did a Waylon Mercy figure, no one ever thinks of doing that. I saw one guy did a custom Nailz figure, that was awesome. ROZZ gets my vote purely on the fact that Max Moon is a Masked Wrestler that never really gets thought about. Sorry if thats too biased but hey, the figure looks great. He kinda pussed out a bit on his boots and his belt but oh well, again, its MAX MOON.
Bartman vs. vegasstw Jay Scott Steiner match, simple. My vote goes to Jay on the fact that I never ever saw Scott Steiner wear that american flag outfit. If he did wear it, it wasn't in WWF and if he did wear it in WWF, I must've missed that episode of Superstars because I DON'T recall that outfit at all. Jay gets my vote because I do remember him wearing that outfit. Sure the head on jays steiner looks a lil odd, it still resembles a Scott Steiner I remember seeing on TV.
Goreinator vs. H2RX ECW wrestlers: this was a tough one to call. I LOVE both Raven and Stevie Richards respectfully, especially Big Stevie Cool BWO Stevie Richards. Thing is, I wasn't too crazy on the head choice on Raven. His hair looks weird to me and the cross on the eye was a bad idea in my opinion. The picture of Raven from behind is the best argument for the head. Just the back of that head looks NOTHING like Raven. Plus, I didn't like the black plain shirt on him. He always wore a band t-shirt of some sort with the sleeves cut off back in the day in ECW. Even tho the Stevie Richards head wasn't any better in my opinion, his outfit was more spot on especially with the painted on Daisy Dukes which was the right thing to do. The BWO shirt does look a bit sloppy but this was the BWO first run before they got the BWO t-shirts made so I guess its allowed to look sloppy. Anyways my vote goes to the Stevie Richards custom, WHICH I WOULD LIKE TO BUY by the way. Just put a Stevie Richards head on that with brown hair and you got a custom thats JUST TOO SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEET. My vote goes to Stevie.
For the MAIN EVENT, FamousJ(C) vs. Jay, I'd have to give it up to FamousJ and his Mortis simply for the fact that it looks more presentable than Jays. Whenever I buy customs, I look for 2 things, accuracy in the outfit and head AND no sloppy paintjobs. Basically, I want to feel like I'm buying a figure from a store, usually figures at toy stores don't look crappy. FamousJs Mortis looks so spot on and presentable. You put that in a box with a weapon and sht, you got a good figure that you can sell in stores. Jays custom although looks bad ass, it doesn't really look presentable. Its the chest on Jays custom that bothers me. Maybe the shot is too close but to me, Mortis looks the best out of these two.

Whydraft2 vs Rozz
I really like the Max Moon, it's certainly an inventive selection for the masked wretler challenge, can't fault it and on any otherf day against any other person it would have ben the winnner. I have to give the nod to whydraft2 for an uterlly stunning Mortis and this is a darn site better than I would expect Jakks to produce. The shoulder plates really do add to this already great figure. Well done to both on amazing submissions the 2 best in show in my opinion, but:

Bartman Vs Jay
Honestly I'm not to keen on either head choice but Scott is a hard likeness to capture, at least neither went with Windham. Really I'm basing my decision on tights design and although both are smooth and pretty much flawless, Jay's design seems to show more skill and just seems more typical of Scotts singlets as I remember them

Goreinator vs. H2RX
Easy win here to H2RX for stevie, the denim short-shorts look brilliant, in fact the whole figue does.

FamousJ(C) vs. Jay
I like the Mortis, but it is very overshadowed by the previos Mortis by whydraft2, I think this would make we slightly biased anyway. Mortis does look great, the detail and the general level of craftsmanship is just great, I'm not a fan of screaming heads but this still looks darn goodd. Muta is awesome though, I despise DA and all it stands for but this is one of favourites in this show. If god is in the details then this figure is downright angelic top classs.

-nick maniwa VS. doctor angus:
i think angus pulled off a better custom between the two. his has a custom skin tone, plus a really great head that goes well with the ref pic he provides. only thing i think could be done is the another coat of paint on the pants designs. with maniwa's i love the attire work but the head really doesn't fit in my opinion, i also think that the hair should be sculpted with alittle more detail.
winner: doctor angus
-tckdeen VS. gatecitysinner
this one is a hard pick because both are great in their own personal ways. i like tckdeen's because he went in a different approach to make christian which is with the ttl torso. i have in the past used that torso to give a more accurate look for guys like sabu and benoit, but i don't really think that size torso works on christian. the rest of it is great. with gatecitysinner's lance storm i think is an overall great figure. with great parts choice and painting, don't really see too much to complain about that.

-tckdeen VS. gatecitysinner
another great match between the two but this time i think tckdeen made a better custom. i think theres alot more work put into the owen, especially with the approach he used for the hair rather then just leave the previous hair from the head. only thing i don't like would be the ttl lower legs because it makes him stand weird. with gatecitysinner's corino it seems alittle simple but a nice custom none the less. but i think if he maybe sculpted on the figure like the wrist tape or even the boots that it would look even better.

-whydraft2 VS rozz
i love whydraft2's mortis and not enough people make him. i also love how he added the extra things like his entrance attire, but i kind of feel like theres not enough detail on the top half of the attire's designs. it looks alittle abstract in some views. rozz's custom is spot on and have the little details like the sculpted on attire and the rings. the paint job is smooth and very well done.
winner: rozz
-bartman VS jay
both made great customs of pre-big poppa pump and i can see that there are some problems trying to find the right head to use. with bartman i love the choice of attire but i don't remember it too well. i like the fact that he sculpted the singlet over the torso but i don't care very much for the head. the hair doesn't seem like it fits right on the head and the head looks alittle fat. with jay i think his detailing to the figure is possibly a step up from bartmans. like the extra black on the boots and a nice matching style attire that could be placed with the classics rick steiner along with the extra added belt and jacket. only flaw i see is maybe the hair because i do remember scott to have really poofy hair back then.

this is one great main event and bother did a fantasitc job with their customs. with famousj we have mortis that has an outstanding head sculpt. the attire looks great and very smooth and detailed, even the little skulls are perfect looking. i dunno if he used decals or not but they still look great. the do feel though that his mortis seems alot smaller than what mortis is. and i don't care much for the ttl hands even though they are great posed hands. now we have jay's great muta. i'm a big great muta fan and this is one of the best muta customs i've ever seen. the detailing on the mask alone is just fantastic. the paint is also another great touch and matches his attire perfectly. i would say that maybe sculpted arm cuffs would've been an added bonus but jay makes up for it with the specks of green mist over muta's chest and hand.
winner: jay
again all the customizers who participated in this ppv deserve all the respect for doing their best and putting out great customs. i know i don't have half the skills as these guys do and i think its great we have ppv's like this to encourage us to keep practicing our skills.

The hair on chuck is a little flat and odd looking, but the tights design looks really well done. All the parts work well and the giant headed child is a nice touch
the Cannon, head doesn't work too well the torso is terrible for arik and the painted singlet doesnt help. The legs look to be a little sloppy but the tattoo looks real good

lance is flawless, other than the torso may be a little too ripped but without having modded anything it works well
christians torso looks odd and the tights dont look too good but skintone and tattoo are nice

owen is good but looks sloppy compared to corino, head works well as do the decals i believe you used

mortis and his gear look great, real smooth painting

jay-head doesnt look too much like scott from that angle and the attire is a little sloppy but skintone is nice

raven is great, really well modded legs and brilliant tattoos shirt is too plain at the minuite but head works great
stevies shirt looks a little odd and the joint in the torso doesnt help the logo. Leg modding is great tho and the head works great for stevie

mortis is fantastic flawless painting, modding, part choice, skintone, decals. Only problem is the lack of accesorys that whydrafts2's had
muta's mask is amazing and the spot of green on his hand is a real nice touch. torso modding seems odd and unnecesary but the tight design looks really good

I must've missed that episode of Superstars because I DON'T recall that outfit at all. Maybe you should pop in Survivor Series 1993 in your VCR, lol. As for the torso, Steiner was really muscular back then as well, so I didn't want to use a regular singlet mold. Great job on Jay's Steiner though.  |

Nick Maniwa VS DR. Angus
My vote goes to Nick because his custom is much, much cleaner than Angus' custom.
Gatecity sinner VS TCKDEEN Match #1
My vote goes to gatecitysinner. His Lance Storm's painting is a little cleaner.
For the second match my vote goes to Deen. The Owen Hart looks perfect.
Whydraft2 VS Rozz
Both are incredible customs but my vote goes to Whydraft2. Mortis is a more detailed custom and the cape and staff are a nice touch.
Bartman VS Jay
It all came down to the head modding and my vote goes to Jay. There's something off about the modding on Bartman's Steiner. The custom skintone adds a lot to the figure.
Goreinator VS HR2X
My vote goes to Goreinator. HR2X's Stevie Richard's isn't as appealing of a custom. The head choice wasn't too good either. Goreinator's head choice looks almost like Raven.
FamousJ VS Jay
I'm going with FamousJ because his Mortis has a cleaner paintjob than Great Muta and his pecks are too big. The mask modding is a lot better as well.

Nick/Angus - Not familiar with either characters to be honest. So I'm going to have to base my vote off painting. The tights on Nick's look well done, the lettering on the tights is a little iffy though. Angus looked like to put in a lot of work into his custom, however, I'm not feeling the head compared to the ref pic in the back. Not sure if it's supposed to be there or not, but there is some gray paint on his left hand. Winner: Nick Gate/TCKDEEN - No DQ I'm going to give this first one to Gate based on the incredibly smooth painting on his tights. They look great. The torso may be a little ripped, but I still like the way it looks. Cage is good, but you really need to get new sealer. I'm also not feeling the stubble. Winner: Gate Gate/TCKDEEN II - Canadian Wrestler This one I'll award to TCKDEEN because I'm not too crazy on the head for Cornio. The skintone looks nice and Owen and I'm liking what you did to the hair. Once again though, I suggest you get better sealer. Winner: TCKDEEN Whydraft2/ROZZ - By far the hardest match to decide. Both customs are fantastic. Everything looks great on Mortis, plus the cape and staff are great additions. Max Moon is so badass, I probably only seen a Max Moon made once. Really great job you two. I'd say your match stole the show, in my honest opinion. Winner: Draw, I really can't decide. Gore/HR2X - No real headscans, I like it. I'm not loving the head on Gore's, but the jeans and tattoo work look superb. HR2X's Richards looks really good as well, I'm also so-so on the head, but his sculpting on the shirt and jeans really does it for me. Winner: HR2X Battle of the "J" - Really great match you two. Surprising to see another Mortis in competition, but FamousJ really pulled it off wonderfully. The painting is just wow. Jay's custom once again looks very nice. The modding on the mask and tight design look wonderful. However, it's just that flawless painting on FamousJ that makes me lean toward his custom. Winner: FamousJ Although if it means anything, I think you should have taken that match at the last PPV, Jay. On the plus side, you're whooping my ass, haha. Overall, great PPV. People really stepped it up, which is great. If people stepped it up for this, can't wait to see what they'll pull out at the next PPV.  |

the chuck taylor is very good but he needs slightly longer hair
arik cannon is not fat enough but his head is sculpted very well
lance storms head and neck look a little funny
christian cage is ok but the sculpting isnt great and the head and neck look weird but the painting is good
steve corino is awesome great job
owen hart is ok but i dont like his head
moris's head is not even but other than that its awesome
max moon is amazing all the painting is perferct great job
both scott steiners are awesome good job
everything else is just amazing seriously they are better than anything ive ever seen truly amazing

i have to give this to nick his custom is all around better althought the hair on his custom looks like a skull cap his painting on everything else is neat
angus buddy if u r going to prime your fig i would suggest covering the eyes with somthing because it is just so hard to paint eyes

both are just so awesome but i think i am going to have to give this to rozz because his sculpting is amazing and his painting is also incredible
dont get me wrong why drafts custom is good but he kinda rushed it i remember he sent it to me 3 days after i announced the opponenents i did tell him about some sloppy spots on the custom and he fixed it right away but there is just somthing that makes rozz's custom better

both customs are crazy but some spots on both customs are sloppy to me(not that i can do any better than either one of them) the checks on jays custom are a little sloppy and the red lines on barts custom are a little sloppy the head on jays looks like ken shamrock to me and the hair on barts custom is a bit odd
i would have loved to see bart sculpt a singlet on but what can u do bart did an amazing job on modding the ra scott steiner head into and oldschool steiner head i actually like it

both bodys are modded so well however it comes down to the heads i think the cena scan works better for raven then the edge head works for stevie

I only have a few things to say... I'll add my votes in during Raw
- Dr. Angus, I'm disappointed that you didn't change your custom since posting it in the Customs Discussion thread.
- the TTL torso does not work at all for Christian.
- I'm glad I didn't do a DA Corino... because gatesinners is awesome.
- whydraft2.. Mortis is very nice.. I see you had some problems sculpting around the knees
- Max Moon is very clean.. I'd like to see more pics of it though
- Jay's Steiner is nice.. but we need more pics.
- Bartman continues to impress me.. that singlet is badass.
-Gore.. I love the shoulder tat on Raven... albeit its a little big, but it's still awesome. I like the way you modded the legs. I really wish you would have done a shirt design. You also should have filled those ugly holes on the front of the Cena shorts.. look at my Kendrick.. they look 50x better when filled in.
- FamousJ.. honestly.. I don't like the use of the TNA AJ legs.. they make Mortis look pigeon-toed.
-Jay... Muta looks awesome.. aside from the gigantic pecs.

ok so Scott did wear that outfit, big deal. I was never really a Steiner fan to begin with. The outfit looks fine but the hair is what trips me up but then again, thats not really the best shot of Jays custom so I don't know. On outfits alone, I still say Jay won. The jacket and the tag team belt seals it.
