First custom, perhaps only... Owen

I guess I am tired of hoping they sign him so I decided to make my own. I am well aware of my limited painting ability so I went with a pretty simple attire. When I have more time I may clean it up a little. This customizing takes a long friggin' time my hats off to those who are able to do it well. Be gentle...

The hair modding is great. I'm not even that good at it and I've been customizing for quite some time now. The painting isn't really good like you said. It's a little sloppy and the logo looks a little funny. I don't think the head works well. You should also get your hands on some CS3 Bret Glasses.

Custom making can be hard but it is a lot of fun and I think this looks really nice. Keep trying for a while, get a few more under your belt and then see how you feel about it.

Great first custom, the hair looks great, the attire is kind of plain but the part choices are good. The painting around the singlet is kind of messy but this is still pretty good for a first.

Work on the painting and on the hair scult and it will be a solid custom.

for a first custom you did really well there, agnus has been doing customs for a long time and you did better than him great job.

Thanks to everyone for their encouragement. Yes it is a Kenny Dystra head with the hair and headband sanded off then used sculpty (spelling?) to make the hair. It has OTR 9 Kurt Angle Torso arms and upper legs and Mark Jindrak boots. I painted the hair, laces, and singlet designs with acrylic paints. The only criticism I will object to is the head choice. Since the first day I saw Kenny's sculpt I was sure it was right for Owen. Perhaps it's my hair molding that makes it questionable to you. I mean look at Owen.


One day I may attempt 2 Stings (one Stinger, one current), but painting those scorpions might be too much for me. We shall see.
