Ok gang, other then a improved head switch on my sid custom i present a fresh batch of customs... some are ok,some are close and some are dead on but i like them all Enjoy  - Ben Improved Sid with the head i been looking for, for awhile now   Time to fire up the nintendo and spark my old fued with tyson!!!!  Shane Douglas  The Baron still is the master of the claw!  "The Hands of Stone"  "Wild Fire" Tommy Rich  "The Russian Nightmare"  The hair is a little to blonde but otherwise my DDP  since i have a hard time excepting that both tazz and tatanka's upper bodies are the same size as the duggan figure i changed them....lol Its hard to find a chest that has the same skin shade as tatanka but i like his new build.   ok once i get my hands on the new zeus this one is on the unemployment line...lol   Ricky Steamboat(best head i had to work with sadly) and Kerry Vonerich  sadly jakks seems to think terry funk is also the size of hacksaw duggan but insted of complaining about it i just decided to correct it myself:)  Mr.Huges and Missing Link  Johnny B Badd and The Great Muta  enjoy all |

I was exspecting sid from the sex pistols lol
they all pretty much look good
except for ricky...but never the less.......

COMBINE YOUR POSTS. If you want to post something every day, which I'm fine with, don't push other people's work down by making a new post. Use your old ones.
Sid looks less like Sid now to me.
Tyson looks good for a simply fixup, which you seem to excel at.
Shane Douglas- The painting looks real smooth. The nipples are weird and I would've done it on a Regal torso. Tassles would help. Not a big fan of the head, the hair is too white and it doesn't look like Douglas to me.
Baron- Not a fan of the skintone. It's way too shiny for my liking. Orlando head right?
Garvin- The tights look sloppy. The eyebrows are too straight and blonde. The socks look ok.
Tommy Rich- Hate it. Tommy was never that ripped. His hair was the same color as his eyebrows. The tights are very messy. It doesn't seem like you take your figures apart. You should or use better methods to paint, so the paint doesn't rub. Like on the crotch piece.
Nikita- I would've used an existing singlet like the Perfect mold. The wrist tape is incredibly sloppy.
DDP- The hair is too blonde, but you said that yourself. Water down your sealer a little bit or get some matte sealer as it is way too shiny. You also should've sanded down the existing hair.
Tatanka- Get the BOECW Rey Mysterio, Funaki from the WWEast set or the exclusive Rey with the belt pack and it'll match better. Fix the torso and it'll look better
Tazz- Not a fan of the skintone but it does match his actual skintone a bit better. I think this is another one that the shiny-ness kills it for me.
Zeus- Looks good. The accessories are the best. Figure is too shiny but it isn't terrible.
Steamboat and Kerry- Hate the head. Doesn't match and doesn't look too good anyway. Not a fan of Kerry's head either. But it's probably the best you had.
Funk fixup looks good. I would've used the Regal torso as Terry wasn't the ripped.
Mr. Hughes and Missing Link- Link looks really good, it's sad to hear about him nowadays, as he's pretty much dying in a hospital. Hughes looks good for a simple custom but it's not dark enough.
Johnny B Badd and Muta- I hate the Muta. The head doesn't work at all in my opinion. Johnny B Badd looks good. The WCW head works pretty good actually. It may be a bit too big but besides that, it looks good.

That head doesn't look like Sid at all. He had a mullet. The Tyson fixup works. Painting on Shane Douglas' tights look too glossy. DDP is not good either. He had dirty blonde hair, not bleach blonde hair.

no sweat,ill combined my posts sid looks like sid from his very early nwa days... and funks chest was dead on during his 1989 fued with flair...the regal torso only works for slightly flabby funk wich is years later... but thanks for the tips on everybody else |

Oh, also for the record i prefer the shiny look as it looks like they wrestled for 45 mins and are covered in sweat... yes there is room for improvement not only with mine but with everybodies... but for a guy who dosent use sculpey or paint pens i am very proud of all my work... and i am most proud of terry funk and my sid... sid looks better with the tommy gunn head then that god awful screaming randy orton head that almost every sid custom had for awhile....lol and i wish people would learn what a mullet is...billy ray sirus had a mullet... rick rude had long curley hair, sid had short curley hair...but mullet is tjrown around very very loosely... Billy Ray Rude???/ Sid Cyrus?  LOL any way no biggie to me...with customs some will like them,some wont but iam always glad to share my stuff with the board... i appreciate everybodys view good and bad:) take Care all, - Ben:) |

That Steamboat is pretty rough, just change the head, I know it was your only option, and it would look good. That Missing Link custom is awesome though! The rest are pretty quality as well.

actully, let me rephrase that, sid sometimes had short curley hair...when his hair was long ill agree it counted for a mullet...but my sid is obviously the short hair version...lol

yeah steamboats kind a tough one to nail...for me any way... i love him from the neck down but the head was a temp choice....what head would you suggest awesomeeric91? |

I like the head choice for Sid. Some of the others, Johnny B Badd for example, look really strange. The head choices are not always the best... Good tries.
