OK... so, a while ago I posted a custom SoCal Val figure (under a different username) and I had a lot of good comments & a lot of negative ones, as well. It was my first custom and I thought it didn't turn out too bad. Nonetheless, I got in touch with SoCal Val herself & sent her the figure. We've been talking, off & on, via e-mail for a little while & I finally got a picture from her with the figure that I made. So... here's the original pics of figure itself, a picture of Val with it, and a collage of me & Val both holding the figure. I'm pretty excited that she likes it as much as she does.  So, here ya go. Enjoy!    |

figures stacy keibler with orange hair i dont find it too good. That's fine. It's your opinion. I actually used the Ludmilla figure from the Rocky series - customized the clothing from it (dying it and everything) - then cutting it up so it was a mini skirt and painting accents according to the video that I based it upon. I also cut the hair to the appropriate length and changed the hair color. What the pictures don't show is that there are several different shades of color for the hair. I tried to accent that, as best I could, as well. Finally, I painted eyeshadow and changed the eye color on the figure, as well. I used a Stacy Keibler head that I got from a guy on here... (thanks again, man). So, despite it just being a "Stacy Keibler with orange hair" - that's some of the work that I did on it. If I would attempt to make this figure now, I would use a Stacy head with the Kelly Kelly body and I'd make a dress or something somehow. In any event, I at least got to start getting to know SoCal Val through my e-mail dealings with her. And that, no matter how the figure turned out, is the most important thing to come out of this entire thing. Thanks for looking though. |

The hair's too red but besides that, it looks good. It's cool that she digs it and stuff.

the clothing and stuff is good but the hair is horrible
its too orange like cartoon hair.

I don't know why the hair is so bright red in Val's picture.... if you look in my two pics you can see that it was a dull(er) redish. I tried very hard to match up her hair color & have several different paint colors in it. I'm kinda wondering if Val didn't edit her pic - adjusting color or whatever to make the picture look better or something. I don't know. All I know is that when I sent it out to her, the hair wasn't that bright/neon.  I noticed the hair too when I received the pic... kinda bothered me. |
