Undertaker as fake kane - ends today on ebay !!

the idea for this one came from a picture that wfigs member kane killed vince recently used in his signature (thanks for the inspiration). the figure is of the undertaker dressed as kane.

after all the comments to this figure i have made a few suggested alterations

the black circles have been added to the undertakers eyes (i think i have gotten away with not making it look a mess).

the left gloved hand has now been replaced with a non gloved one.

and finally the kneepad mask that was causing a bit of bother has now had hair added to it. Hopefully this disguises the obvious use of the kneepad and i think adds to the overall effect.

Thats awsome! tha painting looks good and really smooth.......one thing, when taker took the mask off, he had big black circles around his eyes.

Custom looks great, except for a couple small inaccuracies. His left hand shouldn't have the glove, and his right should have that larger Kane/old 'Taker glove mold. Head should be the Ministry-era scan (like from the Classics 3-pack) with the black makeup painted around the eyes. Also, the colors on the mask are inverted, I believe. The paintjob looks really fantastic, though, and it'd be perfect with those changes. Great idea for a custom.

It's very clever, especially the mask made from the kneepad. But, it just don't fit right over the ears. Maybe if you, starting with a fresh kneepad of course, just cut the back off of the kneepad and for the front to look like his mask and add the head straps afterwards. I think that would work best. Or you could just try to find a maximum sweat mask and settle for that.

Edit: I also just noticed that you have his left hand gloved, you should fix that too.

looks great as unmasked taker but the mask itself is a lil weird. and ya u do need to add the black rings

i saw undertaker unmask when it happened. it gave me a dream. not a nightmare tho lol. it was like the old WWF commercials where the wrestlers talked about how you shouldnt do that stuff at home, and in the backround the wrestlers were fighting and stuff, but in the commercial it was that unmasked undertaker talking.

i have to admit tho, thats one of the biggest crowd pops ive ever seen when hes about to unmask. it doesnt sound all that big but the audio is scratchy.

I will put the black around his eyes, got to be careful to get the right effect though.
as for the mask this was about the 4th one, i tried various things but i wanted something that was easily removable. agreed its not perfect. i did think of the internet exclusive kane mask but i dont think that would be right for this figure and i havn't got one anyway.
Any thoughts on the colour of the mask
i did consider painting it red and putting the black stripes on (as mentioned by insaniac)

i'm not particularly after an exact replica of the actual undertaker outfit (although i think its fairly close) but i wanted to make something that was a bit unusual.
