Repression Live from American Airlines Arena Dallas, TexasA bright sunny field is the opening scene of the night. The air is still and calm when a soft rumbling sound is heard in the background when suddenly a gigantic boulder comes crashing down out of the sky. As the boulder hits, the grass turns to dirt and the blue sky turns to black. A moment later a bolt of lightning hits the rock, the Hard Rock Wrestling logo is inscribed into the rock. “Analog” by Strung Out begins to play as the camera begins to zoom into the logo. The song plays as vignettes of the superstars come across the screen. There are clips of Abyss roaring and riping the chains off of his arms, Tazz pulling the towel off his head and folding his arms, Randy Orton checking out his body, The Undertaker flipping his hair back then rolling his eyes back into his head. The video also shows Rhyno goring someone through a table, Shawn Michaels giving someone a super kick, Sandman standing in the middle of the crowd chanting, drinking beer, and interacting with the fans. The final clip shows Triple H spitting water into the camera blackening the image turning the focus to the arena where pyro explodes in every direction. Fireworks go off from the stage in all directions as the fans cheer wildly for the newest wrestling organization. The music continues playing as the fireworks come to an end when suddenly the HRW owner, Gorilla Monsoon, walks out from behind the curtain to an enormous cheer from the crowd. As Monsoon walks down the ramp he slaps hands with fans that lean over the guardrail to get a hand on the owner. Monsoon walks into the ring and signals for a microphone from the ringside assistant.
Monsoon welcomes everyone to the very first edition of Hard Rock Wrestling. He mentions how he is glad to be here in Dallas, Texas at the American Airlines Arena. Monsoon introduces Jimmy Hart and Mene Gene Okerlund as the commentating team at ringside. Monsoon also introduces Michael Buffer as the ring announcer.
Once those 3 men made their way down to the ring and took their respected places at ringside, Monsoon announced the title situation. He said that there will be a 16 man tournament for the World Heavyweight Title. Gorilla explains that it will consist of the 10 men in the Heavyweight division and 6 men of the International division. 6 men from the International division will be picked at random and be placed in teams of 2 facing off against some of the best teams HRW has to offer. The winners of the tag matches will be entered into the World Title tournament. Monsoon lets the crowd know that 2 of the tournament matches will take place tonight as well as a 4 man battle royal for the International title. The crowd cheers as Monsoon heads to the back.
In the LWO locker room, Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, and Homicide discuss who will face Rhyno and Sandman in the first tag match for the World Title tournament. They agree that Mysterio should be one as his speed will be valuable against the slower Rhino and Sandman. Guerrero and Homicide argue back and forth on who his partner should be. Mysterio pipes in saying that he wants Homicide because his hardcore style will match up with Rhyno and Sandman. Both men walk out of the locker room as Eddie sits down in a metal folding chair shaking his head.Rey Mysterios’ music hits as Mysterio comes leaping out from under the stage and seconds later, Homicide comes walking out from behind the curtain weilding a steel chair. Both men aren’t welcomed by the fans and as two of the three LWO members make their way down to the ring they are booed and yelled at by numerous fans. Mysterios leaps up onto the apron and over the top rope as Homicide slides in under the bottom rope. Both men go to opposite corners of the ring where they stand on the second rope; Mysterio makes the sign of the cross on his body while Homicide yells back at the fans pointing to the steel chair in his hand. The arena is silent before the opening sounds of Enter Sandman is heard. Minutes later the Sandman comes walking out through a random spot in the crowd. He opens up a beer and begins to chug some before pouring the rest in his mouth then spitting it over the audience. With his trademark kendo stick in hand, Sandman makes his way down to the ring. As he reaches the barrier between ringside and the crowd, he stands on top putting his kendo stick in the air as the fans cheer wildly for one of the most infamous superstars in the business. Sandman enters the ring and begins to taunt the LWO with his kendo stick when suddenly Rhyno’s music blasts throughout the arena and “The Gore Machine” Rhyno comes running out from behind the curtain making a b-line right to the ring. Rhyno dives under the bottom rope and heads straight for Mysterio and hits him with a forearm to the head knocking Mysterio into the corner. Sandman hits the floor like a ton of bricks while Homicide slides into the ring to help out his partner Rey Mysterio who has been backed into a corner and is receiving no mercy from Rhyno. With Mysterio down in the corner, Rhyno continues the relentless assault with numerous kicks to the face. Homicide is about to send that steel chair to the back of Rhyno but the ref pulls the chair out of Homicide’s hands giving the Gore Machine more time on offense against Rey Mysterio. Sandman puts Rey’s head under his armpit and walks out to the center of the ring where Sandman hits a quick snap suplex. Over in the LWO corner Homicide is banging on the turnbuckle for Mysterio to come and make the tag. Sandman stands and watches Mysterio try to attempt to crawl over to his corner and inches before he is about to make the tag, Sandman pulls Mysterio’s foot bringing him back to the center of the ring. Sandman stomps a mudhole in the back of Rey Mysterio before going to make the tag to Rhyno. Rhyno enters the ring and sets Mysterio up for a double powerbomb, but is reversed into a hurricanranna by Mysterio. Homicide is the first to move and crawls over to make the tag to Rey Mysterio and then rolls to the outside of the ring. The ball of fire known as Rey Mysterio hops into the ring and bounces off the ropes before hitting a flipping leg drop onto the neck of Rhyno. With Homicide laying on the floor, it’s a 2-on-1 with a Sandman just waiting to be tagged in. Mysterio looks over in Sandman’s direction and signaling for him to come into the ring, calling him out. Sandman comes through the ropes and begins to trade blows with Rey Mysterio. Diesel tries to put his hands over his face for protection but every attempt is effortless as Tazz pulls his hands apart continuting the series of punches. Tazz whips Diesel from the corner but holds onto his arm pulling Diesel back into his body right as Tazz flips Diesel over his head with an overhead belly to belly suplex into the corner. Diesel back hits all three turnbuckles stopping him mid-flight causing Diesel to fall straight to the mat head first. The crowd begins to cheer at the sudden burst of offense by Tazz. The Human Suplex Machine drags Diesel out of the corner and into the center of the ring where he applies the Tazzmission. Diesel’s arms are flailling in the air trying to reach the ropes. Diesel doesn’t quit as he uses all of his leg strength getting to his feet with Tazz still on his back. Diesel runs against all the corners back first trying to get Tazz to loosen the hold but nothing works. Diesel stops and with one free hand reaches behind him and rakes at Tazz’s eyes breaking the hold. Diesel bends over attempting to catch his breath. Diesel turns around and quickly notices Tazz running at him and with quick thinking, Diesel side steps Tazz and throws him to the outside of the ring. The ref starts a count to ten for Tazz to get into the ring as Diesel is still taking in as much as possible making up for the lost breath during the Tazzmission. At the count of six Tazz slides back into the ring and right into a stomp from Diesel. Diesel lifts Tazz up off the mat hoists him in the air over his head. Diesel powers Tazz to the mat with a Gorilla Press Slam. Diesel rises and calls for the pull the straps from his tank top down over his arms. Right before Tazz is about to get dropped, he slips down back to his feet and takes Diesel out with a Tazzplex. Both men lay motionless for seconds as the ref is counting to ten for the superstars to get up. With Diesel laying on his stomach, Tazz crawls over on top of Big Daddy Cool and locks on the Tazzmission. As each second goes by the grip gets tighter and tighter. Diesel shows no sign of movement as the ref walks over to lift Diesel’s arm three times making sure he is still in the match. The ref drops Diesel’s arm to the mat three consecutive times signaling the end of the contest. Winner – Tazz Tazz lets go of the hold as Diesel lays face down on the mat. The Human Suplex Machine walks around the ring with his hands raised in victory. Tazz exits the ring as the fans cheer as Tazz has moved on to the second round of the World Title Tournament.

AWESOME show! Great main event. It's not very often you see two great big men square off. Unusual choice of making Benoit a heel though, could be interesting. The Orton/Masters team was pretty original. Kurt teaming with Razor was unusual but it worked. Whole show was well written, pretty clear that you put a lot of effort into it.

Excellent show. Graphics were awesome and your detail in you matches were great. The whole event was interesting. The first match is interesting. The LWO is nice. Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, and Homicide should make for a good team, although I think Eddie may break away from the group in a matter of time.
The Battle Royal was awesome. Benoit, Hardy, Sabin, and Petey Williams are all great. This match was great. Nothing more to say about it. Glad Chris Benoit won the International Championship.
The Legion of Doom vs. Razor Ramom and Kurt Angle was another great match. The unfamilar man was Carlito.
Rob Van Dam and Sabu vs. Randy Orton and Chris Masters was great. Masters and Orton as a tag team is very orignal and interesting. Glad to see Sabu and Rob Van Dam pick up the win. The segment with Chris Sabin barging into Chris Benoit's locker room is great. Next weeks match should be great.
Tazz vs. Kevin Nash was a odd match. Small man vs. Big Man. Tazz is still a tuff bastard and proved it in the match. Glad to see Tazz choke out Big Daddy Cool. The main event match up should be great. Can't wait for it.
The main even was excellent. Abyss vs. Kane was great. I really thought Kane would win but nice surprise that Abyss picks up the win. The ending was great, leaving us guessing who this guy was. Him taking The World Title really wants me to see who he is.
Great show.
