(The lights go out seconds before the show airs. As soon as it’s on air the fans are going nuts. The camera pans in on the crowd of 3,284 as Enter Sandman by Metallica plays. Joey Styles is standing by the announce table with some words for the fans at home.)
Joey Styles: Hello everybody, and welcome to Chicago Pro Wrestling’s first show here at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, Illinois! I’m Joey Styles, the official play-by-play man of CPW. It's Friday night, so lets kick the weekend and the show off with Cheech vs. Cloudy
Cheech vs. Cloudy
They started the match out with a series of arm drags and headscissor takedowns. Cheech dropkicked Cloudy through the first and middle ropes to the floor. He then took flight with a suicide dive. From there on out it was a spotfest but the crowd was very hot and really into this match. The end came when Cheech went for a superplex, but Cloudy broke out of it and hit a sick Canadian Destroyer from the top rope! After a short Holysh*t chant, Cloudy crawled over for the pinfall. After the match, the crowd gave a standing ovation as the two competitors shook hands for a well fought match. The crowd then burst into a loud CPW chant.

Jig n’ Sky vs. Austin Aries and Roderick Strong vs. Best Damn Team for the CPW Tag Titles
(As the break ends, you see the Best Damn Team of Delirious and Excalibur walking down the entranceway as the other two teams look on from inside the ring. When they hit the ring, Excalibur grabs a mic and tells everyone that he and Delirious are the Best Damn Tag Team period.)
The crowd was laughing at that when Excalibur gave Aries the finger. He charged at Excalibur and took him down, and the match was on. The ref had no control in this match whatsoever. Scorpio Sky threw Strong on the outside and was preparing to slingshot over the top rope when Austin Aries clothes lined him. Delirious took the opportunity and hit Roderick Strong with a suicide dive. Jigsaw followed with a running backflip over the top rope. Austin Aries lifted Excalibur over his head and tossed him to the outside on Roderick, Delirious, and Jigsaw. Scorpio Sky then sent Aries over the top rope and to the floor. The crowd rose to their feet and clapped as Scorpio Sky got ready to Jump. He bounced off the ropes and performed and amazing plancha over the top rope which followed with a small Holysh*t chant. The rest of the match was very fast paced with many 2 counts. All 6 opponents got the same amount of offense in. In the end, Roderick hit a backbreaker on Excalibur, and Austin followed with a 450 splash. As he went for the pin, Scorpio Sky broke it up and took Roderick Strong out with a dropkick. Jigsaw knocked Austin Aries out of the ring and pinned Excalibur. Jigsaw and Scorpio Sky are the first ever CPW tag team champs! They celebrated in the ring until Excalibur got back on the microphone and told them he wanted a rematch next week.
Joey Styles: Wow! Only two matches in and I’m exhausted from all the action. To the fans at home who just turned in, we have already had two amazing matches that would have blown whatever WWE has shown in the past 6 months out of the water. CPW is the new wave of wrestling and were here to stay. Now lets get ready for the next match which will be Super Dragon taking on Kevin Steen. These two are bitter rivals, so this match is sure to be great..
Kevin Steen vs. Super Dragon
When Super Dragon came out he got a thunderous ovation and the fans chanted “Super Dragon” as he walked down the entranceway. Kevin Steen was almost booed out of the building. They started out with a test of strength before Kevin Steen kicked Super Dragon. He then threw a stiff punch at Dragon, which only made him mad. He hit Kevin Steen with two hard punches followed by a series of hard forearms. Kevin Steen fought back but Super Dragon gave him a stiff kick. They followed on like this, exchanging stiff chops and blows before Super Dragon knocked Steen to the outside. He followed up with a suicide dive through the middle rope but Kevin Steen caught him on his shoulders. He then hit a fireman’s carry over the guardrail and onto the first and second row chairs. The fans were going nuts and chanting holysh*t. Steen and Dragon brawled through the crowd and to the back of the arena. Kevin Steen picked Super Dragon up and threw him against a wall! Unfortunatly, only the fans close by got to see that. As they brawled back, Dragon got the upperhand before being whipped over the guardrail. As Super Dragon laid on the ground in pain, Steen went to the apron and hit a senton flip onto Dragon. He rolled him back in the ring but only got a two count. Steen was arguing with the ref when Dragon came behind him and got Steen up. He hit a brutal Psycho Driver that looked like he broke Steen’s neck. Then he crawled over him for the pinfall. As Super Dragon was celebrating, some referees came to check on Steen. They put ice on his neck and he had to be helped out.
(The Briscoe’s walk into Heyman’s office and ask him why they weren’t in the tag team 3 way match. They proclaim their the best tag team in the world, and demand a title shot to prove that to him. Heyman says next week they will get their title shot.)
(Paul Heyman comes out to a loud ovation. The crowd starts to chant ECW as he gets into the ring but he stops them.)
ECW was my life, but ECW is gone. That was back in the past, and CPW is here! CPW is my new life, so when I walk out here, I want to hear CPW chants! (Crowd goes into a loud CPW chant) Now, theres a reason I came out here. No company can be successful, without a champion. Someone who represents our company, and someone who represents what were all about. I have chosen 3 wrestlers who I want to represent CPW…..but only one can. Without further due, lets bring out the 3 competitors.
-------Commercial Break----------
Lance Storm vs. Mike Quackenbush vs. Low Ki for the CPW Title
They all started in a corner as the ref brought the belt so they could see it. This match was fast paced to start but then it became a lot slower. There were many different submissions and as it picked up, the fans saw a number of cool, innovative spots. At one point, Low Ki picked up Quakenbush for a Ki Krusher, but Storm superkicked him and Mike Quakenbush reversed the Ki Krusher into a stunner. In the end, Low Ki was going for a Phoenix Splash on Mike Quackenbush, but Lance Storm jumped to the top rope and german suplexed Low Ki off the top. Low Ki flipped and landed on Quakenbush for the 3 count. Storm couldn’t believe it and yelled at the ref as Low Ki paraded around the ring as the first-ever CPW Champion.
