The Elite Wrestling Associations presents . . . Major League Professional Wrestling LIVE : Thursday May 11, 2006 : EWA Arena (Trump Plaza, Atlantic City NJ) 9pm (8ct/6pc) : ESPN2 Eric Gargulio & DDP welcome us to another edition of MLPW! DDP says it's great to be back in the big time again, not in the ring neccessarily, but as a color man, and that he (DDP) has a GREAT feeling about tonight! With that, Eric sends it down to the ring announcer. MATCH #1 DaWg ToWn (Rodney Mack & Butch Reed) vs. The Down Boys (CJ Otis & Jimmy Jacobs); This match is just a pure ass kicker by DaWg ToWn, whipping the 2 smaller stars from corner to corner and obliviating them into the mat. Finally at 7:31, the match comes to a close when Mack hits the BMF Drop (Falcon Arrow) on Jacobs, laying him out, 1-2-3! WINNERS: DaWg ToWnIn the back, the lovely Seven interviews Leonard Lane Dupree about his match tonight. Lenny says tonight, he's keeping his locks and gaining a great sum of $10,000... and to make sure Wagner doesn't back out of paying him when he wins tonight, Lane's brought along his lawyer who had the contract noterized, so there is NO backing out. Up next..... Fatal 4 Way action! MLLW commercial: Shantelle & Tiana won the Tag Team gold, but the Asian Bomb Angels are hot on their trail. Can the 2 Canadian champions swerve the vetern Hosaka & the rookie Sumi, or will the Angels gain gold?! Tune in to Major League Ladies Wrestling, THIS Sunday only on ESPN2! Coming down the ramp to ringside is none other than the Heavyweight World Champion, "The Mighty Robus" Bernard Bloom (formerly A-Train/Albert)... joining Eric & Page at the commentator's table. -- MATCH #2 Roberto El Fuago vs. Mistico vs. H. Perro Aguayo vs. Mentello; The chaos in the ring picks up in a hurry as we see bodies flying, ducking & dodging, soring through the ring like a flock of birds in an enclosed area. Great X-division style action by all 4 stars, even the luchadore Aguayo known as a heavyweight, is showing some fancy moves while learned in Mexico, such as a tilt-a-whirl headspin and even a cross body on all 4 stars on the outside of the ring. Oddly however, at 9:49 into this contest, Mentallo pulls something out from his tights.... It's African JuJu Dust! He must've smuggled some from his hometown in South Africa, blinding Mistico with it! Fuago sees the powder in the air and spears Mentello down to prevent anymore occurances as such, and as the 2 are down, Aguayo hits his patented knee drop on his long time rival Mistico, cover 1-2-3! WINNER: H. Perro Aguayo-Fuago and Mentallo battle on the outside as officials try and revive Mistico, who screams in spanish that he can't see... officials try and calm him down, but Mistico gets up, pushing the agents down, and rolling to the outside, holding out his hands for the guardrail and leading himself, blindly, to the back................... cameras follow him as he makes it backstage but runs into the 6'9 Co-EM Sid Vicious, just looking down at Mistico... Mistico realizes who it is, Sid holds Mistico's head with both hands and tells him to get medical attention immediatly, because when you get better, you'll get to extract your revenge on Mentallo in a 1-on-1 contest! (pops!)... Mistico nodding "yes" as Sid accompanies the 'now-dwarfed' luchadore to the AID room. As we come back, we see the other Co-EM, JJ Dillon, pacing back and forth, as the camera backs up, on one end of the room is the Television Champion, "Loose Cannon #2" Teddy Hart... and on the opposite end of the room is Hart's mentor, opponent & challenger for the belt, the legendary Tully Blanchard. JJ asks how this could've happened, we were Bad Company, we rid Mack out of the group so we could dominate the company, but now it seems as though the company has outsmarted us... Tully tells JJ to just SHUT IT! (POPS!!)... Tully & Teddy step closer and closer, until they're face to face. Tully says it's been 20 years since he's worn the title of being TV Champion, and if he can pull off the victory of Teddy tonight, he could very well solidify himself as being one of, if not THEE Greatest TV Champion of all time, it's just too bad that JJ has chosen sides already. Teddy says JJ won't be a factor in their match, now that Tully's ol buddy Sid Vicious installed a sharkcage into the match, but that's ok, he (Teddy) is still going to prove that the young lions always prevail over the old ones. Tully says he may've taught Teddy everything he (Teddy) knows, but not everything he (Tully) knows. Tells Teddy, "Good luck Champ!" and laying in a mild front-hand chop to Teddy's chest, forcing Hart to blink and cringe on that, Teddy's expression looks pissed, as JJ and he look on at Tully exiting the locker. MATCH #3 Wild Samoans II (Skulu & The Tonga Kid) w/ Kishi Fatu vs. The Backseat Boyz (Trent Acid & Johnny Kashmire);A very decent match displayed by both teams, the Samoans showing their weight is a positive factor for them against the faster, quicker duo of Trent & Johnny, who're unable to fully capitalized on the "T-Gimmick" finisher of theirs, thus at 6:29, Skulu hits a Samoan Driver (modified Emerald Frosion) on Acid, cover 1-2-3! WINNERS: Wild Samoans IISeven is standing in the back with Rob Wagner (formerly Maestro in WCW), saying he came up w/ this idea of a match from his legendary late great grandfather, Gorgous George, and how both his grandparents were victoms to a headshaving due to a loss... it's a humiliation he used to tell Rob as a kid, and stemming from that thought, he (Rob) wants to put Lenny Lane through that very same humiliation. Seven asks about the briefcase Wagner's holding, Rob props it up w/out saying a word, opening it and there it is, $10Gs if he doesn't get the job done, it's Duprees!

.. MATCH #4 HAIR vs. $10,000 MATCH Leonard Lane Dupree vs. Rob Wagner;::if lenny wins, he gets the money. if rob wins, he gets lenny's hair shaved::The 2 hated rivals, who ironically were both tiny mid-carders in WCW, but are now top superstars in MLPW, viaing to see who the better man is. This match shows us a great display of technical abilities by both, aswell as showing a great deal of emotion in this match, as this isn't just another Semi-Main Event, the stakes are risen and only 1 will win! And at 15:29 into this rollercoaster of a contest, Lane sets up the superkick, but Rob dodges it, leaping up to the middle turnbuckle and attempts to hit his Snap! Dropkick, but Lane backs up and catches Rob's feet, setting up the Tiger Tamer, Rob fighting it, fighting it... rolling Lane forward, holding Rob's legs as Rob gets the pin 1-2... rolling over so Leo gets the pin, 1-2... both roll a full 360 deg., Rob gets the pin 1-2... rolling back just a bit so Dupree gets the pin & holding the bottom rope for cheated/added leverage, 1-2-3! Lane gets the duke! WINNER: Leonard Lane Dupree-Showing a big smile on his face, Lane runs out and grabs the briefcase full of $10,000 and raising his hands into the air. Wagner looks disappointed and humbly getting to his feet, accepting his loss as he puts his arms on the top rope, tired after that hard fought match - surprisingly getting a standing ovation, bringing a slight smile to Rob's face, while Lane looks shocked that fans are cheering for Rob instead of him... disgusted, he taunts the briefcase in front of some fans and yanking it away, walking to the back. Sid is in the back w/ JJ, trying to discuss which matches to contribute to the EWA Supercard on June 3rd. JJ says his mind's on other things at the moment... Sid sighs and looks down.... quickly SLAMMING HIS HANDS ON THE DESK, "JAMES!!!" - rocking JJ's attention... Sid smiles.... (pops!).... says he's going to ask one more time, which match should be contributed by MLPW, to the EWA Supercard? JJ quickly spouts out a Heavyweight World title match. Sid likes it, but who gets the shot against Bloom? JJ doesn't know.... Sid SLAMS his hands on the desk again, JJ jumps yet again (crowd laughs) and says "I don't know, I don't know!" - please settle down Sid you're gonna give me a HEART ATTACK... JJ pulls out a hanky and wipes his brow w/ it, saying he's gotta attend to the TV Champ, walking away. Sid looks on, grinning playfully as the crowd pops again. MATCH #5 The Party (Lil Nate & Ryan Taylor) w/ Grandmaster Lawler vs. Team England (Johnny Storm & Nigel McGuiness) w/ Doug Williams;A good display of a quick paced match, as Storm is able to keep up w/ The Party, but Nigel slows it down w/ his mat based style, slowly torturing Nate & Ryan. But during the match, Williams walks over to the commentator's table and begins taunting the World Champ, Bernard Bloom. Slapping his headset off, Bloom launches at Doug and the 2 begin brawling, DDP taking his headset off and joining the officials who begin trying to break up the scuffle, Doug takes Bloom down and locks on a 'spinning toe hold-roll over-modified knee breaker', yanking on Bloom's leg as the big man shouts in pain. Meanwhile in the ring, Storm gets caught by Taylor after a failed missle dropkick, Taylor catches Storm's legs, Lawler goes to the top turnbuckle, lowers his ski-Too Cool sunglasses, leaps and hits a gullotine legdrop on Storm, Nate takes Nigel through the ropes as Taylor gets the pin (ref turns around from being distracted from the outside occurances), 1-2-3! WINNERS: The Party-Doug finally breaks the hold and heads back to ringside, taking the mic as Nigel helps Storm back to his feet. Doug challenges Bloom for the title at the Supershow on June 3rd... then goes off how TNA teased Team England for a spot in their World Cup... Doug, Nigel, & Johnny each spit on the mat ... Doug says they've come to MLPW to show the fans that Team England can and will take over! The EWA Hall of Fame would like to announce the induction of "Superstar" Billy Graham, as apart of the Class of 2006. Graham is a former WWWF Heavyweight and combatant of the famous NWA Florida region throughout the 80s. Graham is known for being cool before being cool was.... being cool. "I lift barbell plates, eat T-bone steaks, and I am sweeter than German Chocolate cake!" (NWA footage). -- EWA Legend's Reunion Weekend: June 2, 3, & 4 2006 - only on PPV! We see Co-EMs JJ Dillon walking out through the curtain, being proceeded by Sid Vicious, as Sid makes sure JJ doesn't scheme his way out of this one, as the sharkcage is lowered into the ring. JJ and Sid enter the ring as Sid makes sure JJ steps in... JJ hesitates, trying to reason w/ Sid, who just shouts "GET IN THERE!", JJ jumps and gets in the sharkcage. Sid proceeds to lock it and signals for it to be lifted above the ring. -- MATCH #6 TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP Teddy "Loose Cannon #2" Hart (c) vs. "The Legendary" Tully Blanchard; The 2 teacher/student duo waste no time and immediatly lock up and being what is sure to be a historical match. JJ looking on down below as he witnesses Bad Company collide before his very eyes. We see similar spots from 2 weeks ago, with Teddy taking the lead and working over Blanchard throughout most of the contest. But at 9:06, we see Tully turn the tables and use his mat expertise to counter and return the favors to Hart. 12:42 into the match, we see Dillon's cage mysteriously lower into the ring, semi-distracting both Hart & Blanchard, who're still putting on a non-stop clinic of basic hold/counter hold with quick spots incorporated. JJ pulls something out, it's Brass Knuckles! He calls for Teddy, Teddy turns and awaits the knucks when JJ grabs Teddy's arm, JJ tosses the knucks over to Blanchard! OMG! Tully catches'em while JJ distracts the referee, holding Teddy's hand and the ref's collar, Tully lays out Teddy! Getting rid of the evidence, Tully scoops Teddy into a pinning position, the ref is free from JJ's grasp, cover 1-2-3! WINNER: Tully Blanchard (NEW Television Champion!)-Tully & JJ jump hysterically as Tully has done it! After 20yrs, is AGAIN the TV Champion! The ref frees JJ from the sharkcage, but Co-EM Sid Vicious arrives and asks who lowered the cage.... JJ responds that an ol' alleye did us a favor tonight... Sid brisks his way down to the ring, JJ & Tully grab the belt and exit through the guardrail gate and into the crowd. Teddy slowly rises his head and looks evil-pissed! c.2006. ewa major league professional wrestling. all rights reserved.photos.yahoo.com/ewasuperstars

This is very fun, because the roster is so diverse and so unique. Rodney Mack being used is cool, as well as Aguayo and Mistico. Very good read.
