Major League Professional Wrestling
LIVE : Thursday April 27, 2006 : EWA Arena (Trump Plaza, Atlantic City NJ)
9pm (8ct/6pc) : ESPN2
We go LIVE to the ring, the all too familiar entrance music hits, as introduced is the NEW Heavyweight World Champion, "The Mighty Robus" Bernard Bloom! (pops!) Bloom makes his way inside the ring and takes the mic, saying it's a dream come true to become a World Champion finally after nearly a decade of paying dues & getting screwed. Says he's the only World Champion in wrestling worth paying money to see, but that the people already knew that. Says his teacher, EWA Hall of Famer Killer Kowalski, has produced some of the finest champions ever... Triple H, Joanie "Chyna" Laurer, April Hunter, and now me! Dedicates his win from The New Beginning to Kowalski... just then, "Save Me" by DamagePlan hits the PA... out walks the now FORMER World Champion Sean "The Rage" O'haire! O'haire says he was stripped of the title thus never beaten for it, and to his true fans, is still recognized as the true champion just w/out the gold. Bloom asks if he isn't still under suspension for working a WWE match last month?! (boo's!)..... O'haire's just quiet for a moment, says yeah he did and it was a mistake, but when he (Sean) returns, that belt is coming back around MY waist..... Bloom says he's got some friends that beg to differ...... Just then, "Crush'em" by Megadeth hits the PA...... appearing and making their way over the guardrails are Ultimo Dragon, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, Diamond Dallas Page, and GOLDBERG! - all of whom been victoms and "put on the list" of O'haire. All enter the ring, Goldberg on the mic says Hello to O'haire (after over a year of absense since Univeral II when O'haire took Goldberg out). Says we'll all be waiting when he returns.... DDP takes the mic and says Payback's a Bitch! (slaming the mic down, "Smells Like Teen Spirit" hits the PA) ..... Bloom knods his head "yes" and smiles at O'haire - who's looking rather upset as he exits the entrance stage. Bloom shakes hands w/ Greg, Dragon, Goldberg, then stares down DDP as the 2 have a heated past... shaking hands and apparently buring the hatchet.
Up next, the Tag Division Series continues.
MATCH #1

Joining Eric Gargulio at the broadcast booth is Diamond Dallas Page, commenting on all the people O'haire's done wrong and injured, he's got his coming, but from now on, MLPW managment has hired ME (DDP) as your new sideki.... well, on 2nd thought monkeyboy, you're my new sidekick! Eric doesn't argue as he takes us to this video....
"My name is Doug Williams..... (footage of him warming up in dark locker room)..... I'm the former RoH Pure Champion, and a former EWA International Champion .... (alternating footage of him forcing opponents to tap).... And my next win, will be the Heavyweight World title championship. I come from the UK. I am a master pure superstar. And Bernard Bloom, our history won't repeat itself, for I will take that belt with me to the UK...... (close up of Doug's face, sweat drentched)...... Cheerio!"

MATCH #2
Roberto El Fuago vs. Leonard Lane Dupree;
Your basic run of the mill match-up between midcarder (Fuago) and semi-main eventer (Dupree), with Fuago showing some good offense skills, learned during his 10+ year career, but this proves not to be enough to put away the heartless Lenny Dupree, as Lane finishes off Fuago at the 8:48 mark with the Lane Driver (modified Rock Bottom), cover 1-2-3!
WINNER: Leonard Lane Dupree
-After the match, Dupree playfully gives Fuago a couple of facewashers with his boot as Fuago struggles to get up. On the entrance stage appears Rob Wagner, Dupree's arch nemisis. Wagner says he wants 1 more match against Dupree, and is willing to put up $10,000 if he loses. But if Dupree loses, he loses his hair! Lane says he'll think about it.... (thinking about it) .... NO!........ Wagner says the new co-EM begs to differ... "God of Thunder" by KISS hits the PA....... It's SID VICIOUS!!!! Dressed in suit & tie w/ the sleeves ripped off.... Sid on the mic shouts at Dupree, saying he doesn't have a choice, Money vs. Hair match for 5/11! Wagner just grins as Dupree is PO'd, just when Fuago comes to, turning Lane around, Hurracurrana! Fuago gets in the last laugh.
In the back, JJ Dillon can't believe his new co-EM is none other than Sid Vicious, as he and Tully are in disbelief as the 2 of them know what Sid's capable of, having worked with him in the NWA/pre-WCW days. TV Champ Teddy Hart wonders why they're freakin' out so much, taking the news of Sid lightly. Changing the subject, Teddy says he wants to discuss something serious w/ JJ & Tully. Since he's still Television Champion, he wants to be the BEST one EVER... but realizes to do that, he's gotta go through as many former TV Champions as possible, and it starts tonight against . . . . Tully Blanchard! Teddy has a serious look on his face, as Tully asks if he's kidding.... Teddy is silent... Tully questions Teddy, then turns to JJ and says he can't prevent a Champion from issuing a challenger, he (JJ) can only condone it. Teddy tells Tully it's nothing personal against him, it's personal for my (Teddy's) sake as I want to be the best TV Champion ever and be taken seriously. Tells Tully that even when they do face, there's a sliver of a chance Tully could even wind up being TV Champion again after almost 20yrs. Don't hold anything back Tully, because I won't!............. Teddy leaves the room, Tully looks at Dillon who lowers his head.
