We open up the show to Triple H's music. He makes his way down to the ring with a microphone.
"Last week, I was screwed. That title belongs around the waist of Triple H, not Shawn Michaels. Lightning struck last week. But trust me, lightning never strikes twice. The Game isn't over, Shawn. Oh, no, The Game has just begun. Furthermore--"
Triple H is interrupted by Eddie Guerrero's music. Guerrero comes down to the ring with a microphone of his own.
"You want to talk about getting screwed, homes? JBL attacked me before the match even started. If anybody should be facing HBK, vato, it's me. Not you and especially not JBL!"
JBL's music hits and Eddie looks toward the entrance ramp. Triple H takes advantage and hits him from behind. JBL runs down to the ring and and the two beat Guerrero down. Triple H holds Eddie up for JBL to hit the Clothesline from Hell as Shawn Michaels runs down to the ring with a chair. Triple H and JBL roll out as Michaels taunts the two to get back into the ring. Eric Bischoff's music hits as he stands at the entrance ramp with a microphone.
"I don't care if you guys rip each other to shreds, but you're going to do it in a sanctioned match. Tonight's main event will see Triple H team up with JBL to take on Eddie Guerrero and the World Heavyweight Champion, Shawn Michaels!"
The fans cheer at this, while JBL and Triple H look furious. Michaels helps Eddie up as we go to a commercial.
We return to Tajiri in the ring. Shannon Moore's music hits as "The Prince of Punk" makes his way to the ring. Moore gets the early beat down on Tajiri.
The match saw Shannon Moore pick up the pin-fall victory over Tajiri with a roll-up using the ropes for leverage.
Winner: Shannon Moore
Moore rolls out of the ring smiling as Tajiri screams and chases after him.
We go backstage to Rico in Bischoff's office with a microphone in hand.
"Mr. Bischoff, everybody has been buzzing like bees backstage about who Tommy Dreamer will have to defend his title aga--"
Rico is interrupted as Tyson Tomko steps in front of him.
"You wanted to see me, Bischoff?"
"Ah, yes. You are the Problem Solver, right?"
Tomko nods.
"Good, because I have a problem I need you to take care of. His name is Tommy Dreamer. I am going to put you in a No Disqualification Match tonight against him for the Television Title."
"That sounds real good, Bischoff."
Tomko cracks his knuckles and walks off. Bischoff is seen smiling as we go to a commercial.
We return to Super Crazy's song as he makes his way to the ring. He is followed by Johnny Stamboli, accompanied by Nunzio.
Super Crazy dominates most of the match. Nunzio tosses Stamboli a lead pipe then distracts the referee. Stamboli creams Crazy in the head with the pipe. Stamboli makes the cover and gets the win.
Winner: Johnny Stamboli
We go backstage to Rico standing by with the Dudleys.
"D-Von, Bubba: Last week you two lost your match against the Bash--"
Bubba Ray takes the microphone from Rico.
"We didn't lose anything. We had the match stolen from us. We're eighteen time tag team champions! And I swear to my mother, my brother, all of you fans and God that we're going out to the ring to call those punk ass Bashams out!"
"Oh, my brother! Testify!"
Rico stares at the two as they walk away.
The Dudleys come down to the ring. Bubba has a microphone in his hand.
"Doug, Danny we're calling your asses out. Get out here or we'll come get you two. It makes no difference to us!"
The Bashams' music hits. D-Von and Bubba look toward the entrance ramp, ready to fight. Doug and Danny come from the crowd and slide into the back of the ring. They bash both of the Dudleys in the head with the Tag Team Titles. They continue the beat down until Bubba and D-Von both have their heads busted open. The Bashams are seen raising the titles as we go to another commercial.
We return to Tommy Dreamer making his way to the ring with the Television Title in hand. Tomko attacks him from behind and throws him into the ring.
Tomko pulls in a chair and bashes Dreamer in the head with it. Tomko pulls Dreamer out of the ring and sets him on the ring steps. He sandwiches dreamer between the steps and the chair and stomps on it. He throws Dreamer into the turnbuckle, busting him open. He rolls him into the ring. Tomko waits for Dreamer to get up to hit the Yakuza Kick. Dreamer ducks the kick and Tomko's leg gets caught on the top rope. Dreamer rolls up Tomko for the victory.
Winner (Still Television Champion): Tommy Dreamer
Tomko gets furious and beats the hell out of Dreamer. Bischoff comes out to the ring. He tells Tomko to hold Dreamer up. Bischoff grabs the Television Title and nails Dreamer in the face with it. He grabs a microphone.
"You may have dodged this bullet, but next week you won't be so lucky. Next week, I am going to be the special referee for your Television Title defense!"
Bischoff is seen holding up a bloody Television Title as Tomko continues to stomp Dreamer. We go to a commercial.
We return to United States Champion Vader making his way to the ring for a non-title Triple Threat Match. He is followed by Mark Jindrak, then Shelton Benjamin.
The match sees Jindrak and Benjamin double team Vader most of the match. Once Vader was out of the ring, the two faced each other. Vader eventually gets back into the ring and makes a big comeback. Shelton uses the referee to lift himself up, allowing Jindrak to hit a low blow on Vader. Jindrak goes to grapple Benjamin, but he reverses it and hits a T-Bone Suplex on Jindrak for the win.
Winner: Shelton Benjamin
We see Bam Bam stretching backstage as we go to a commercial break.
We come back to Viscera in the ring. Bam Bam's music hits and makes his way to the ring.
Bam Bam and Viscera were exchanging right hands as Orlando Jordan came out with a chair and laid them both out.
Winner: No Contest
JBL is seen backstage drinking a bottle of water. Triple H walks up to him and looks him in the eyes.
"John. We are going to be partners later tonight. We should also be partners in the future."
"What do you mean, Hunter?"
"Well, you are the #1 Contender for Shawn Michaels' World Heavyweight Title. I figure, I scratch my back, you scratch mine."
"What do you have in mind?"
"Well, when you get your title shot, I might be there to assure that you win. In exchange for, let's say, that I will be the first to get a shot at your title."
"I like the sound of that."
The two shake hands as we go to our last commercial.
We return to Triple H's music. He makes his way to the ring, followed by his partner JBL. Eddie Guerrero's music hits and he comes down. Shawn Michaels comes down to the ring and the two slide into the ring.
The match saw Shawn Michaels go all match without tagging to Eddie. Every time Michaels got close to Eddie JBL or Triple H would pull him away. Michaels finally hit Sweet Chin Music on Triple H. Michaels went to tag to Eddie, but he jumped down and walked off. Triple H made the tag to JBL who hit the Clothesline from Hell for the pinfall victory.
Winners: JBL and Triple H
We see Eddie Guerrero walking up the ramp with a stern look on his face as the show ends.
