Since I was suspended on WF for a few weeks for no apparent reason, things will need to switch then. Since the build up kind of got f’d up, I will just skip right to the Lockdown ppv. I will usually do the shows on weekends but I’ll just post it on a weekday anyway. I’ll probably post Impacts on Saturdays still (or whenever I feel like it). BTW I cut a lot of people from the fed from the current TNA roster, mostly undercarders anyway. I'll maybe add some people in the coming month or two if I feel like it. Overall I think the show went pretty well. The two matches involving a lot of guys may have sounded sloppy, but it’s the best I can do with that many guys at this point. Anyway, here’s the show, enjoy:
The fireworks go off as the cage is already set up.
Tenay: Welcome everyone to Lockdown!
West: Mike Tenay, this will be one night that I will never forget!
Tenay: We’re glad to have you at home, what a lineup tonight.
West: Oh you’re not kidding. We have FIVE, yes count them, FIVE top main event matches. The return of RAVEN! He will take on the undefeated, Samoa Joe!
Tenay: Are you ready for Lethal Lockdown? It will be America’s Most Wanted joining forces with Team Canada to take on the team of Team 3D, Rhino, The Truth, and Sabu.
West: And a rematch from last year’s Lockdown, it will be A.J. Styles vs. Abyss! And…The Alpha Male Monty Brown will take on Big Poppa Pump, Scott Steiner who is making his TNA pay-per-view debut.
Tenay: You would think that’s all, but we’ve got just one more. For the NWA championship, Christian Cage defends against Sting, and Jeff Jarrett in a triple threat match. A few weeks ago, Kevin Nash was supposed to be in the match. However, he was brutally attacked backstage, and all we can tell you is that Nash is expected to be out several months.
West: That’s a shame, but we have to put the past behind us. Let’s get to the opening contest.
Match #1: Xscape Match (One fall, via climbing out of the cage or pin fall): Elix Skipper vs. Alex Shelley vs. Sonjay Dutt vs. Matt Bentley vs. Jay Lethal
Skipper starts out on the offense on Shelley. Skipper ducks a clothesline, then quickly hit’s the play of the day. 1...2.but Lethal breaks up the pin. Lethal then gets hit with a clothesline from Bentley. Bentley then slams Lethal, goes for an elbow drop, but Dutt runs into the ropes causing Bentley to fall off of the ropes. Skipper then gives Dutt a super kick, and goes for the cover. 1...2.but Dutt kicks out. Shelley then gives Skipper a suplex. However, Bentley then gives Shelley a neckbreaker. Bentley sets off to climb the cage. He is about half way to the top, Lethal goes on the top rope, and gives him a drop kick, and they both fall to the ground. Lethal then gets up, but Bentley gives him a super kick. Shelley then gives Bentley a brain buster DDT. Shelley goes to climb the cage. Skipper then takes Dutt, goes for the play of the day, and connects. Skipper goes for the cover. 1...2...3. However, Shelley climbed out of the cage just beforehand and is declared the winner.
Winner: Alex Shelley
West: Oh Alex Shelley is now the new #1 contender for the x division title.
Tenay: Look at Skipper, he is enraged. Now fellow Diamonds In The Rough members David Young and Simon Diamond are coming out to calm him down.
West: It looks like they did a good job convincing him….wait a minute!
Skipper gave Young a roundhouse kick to the back of the head. Diamond turned around, and Skipper gave him a super kick to the head.
Skipper (yelling into the camera): That was for you guys!
West: For you guys? Who does he mean?
Tenay: I don’t know, but coming up next, our first of two title matches as Christopher Daniels defends the x division title against Chris Sabin.
Match #2: X Division Title, Chris Sabin vs. Christopher Daniels
Daniels starts out on the attack with vicious rights and lefts in the corner. Sabin then rolls out of it, and gives Daniels a dropkick, sending Daniels into the corner. Sabin charges at Daniels, but Daniels sends him into the cage. Daniels then throws him into the cage three straight times. Daniels goes for the cover. 1...2..but Sabin kicks out. Daniels then gives Sabin a stunner-like maneuver. Daniels then goes to the top rope for the BME, and connects. 1...2..but Sabin kicks out. Daniels goes for the Angels Wings, but Sabin flips him over. Sabin then sets up Daniels for the cradleshock, but Daniels battles out of it. Daniels goes for the Angels Wings, connects, and slowly goes for the cover. 1...2..but Sabin kicks out just before three. Daniels sets up for it again, but Sabin reverses it into a hurricanrana. Sabin then picks up Daniels for the cradleshock, and connects. 1...2...and Daniels kicks out. Sabin goes for another cradleshock, but Daniels jumps off, and gives Sabin the Angels Wings. 1...2...3.
Winner and still X Division Champion, Christopher Daniels
Tenay: What a match! Up next, it’s the return of Raven, as he takes on Samoa Joe and his undefeated winning streak!
Match #3: Raven vs. Samoa Joe
Raven walks down the entrance ramp for his match, but Joe brutally attacks him before Raven gets into the ring. Joe goes into the crowd to grab a steel chair. Joe then hits Raven over the head with it, then gives him vicious shots to the mid-section. Joe then brings Raven into the ring, as well as the chair. The referee has to ring the bell to start the match. Joe sends Raven into the cage. Joe then sets Raven up on the top rope. Joe puts the chair in the middle of the ring. Joe grabs Raven, and gives him a muscle buster onto the chair. Joe goes for the cover. 1...2...3.
Winner: Samoa Joe
As the crowd chants “one more time,” Joe gives Raven a second muscle buster onto the chair. EMT’s come down to the ring to carry out Raven on a stretcher.
Tenay: What was that? Why did Joe do that? If that’s how he wanted his first match in his move to the heavyweight division to go, I don’t know what to say.
West: Just what was his motive? You have to feel bad for Raven, to come back to TNA and to get this, this is just pathetic.
Tenay: Let’s send it to the back, where Shane Douglas is standing by with the champ.
Shane: I’m here with NWA champion Christian Cage. Now Christian, on Impact, you teamed up with Sting to take on Jeff Jarrett and Scott Steiner. Jarrett brought the title belt into the ring, Sting grabbed it, and accidentally leveled you. Steiner then clotheslined Sting out of the ring, and Jarrett defeated you after giving you the stroke. My question is this, are any possible alliances between you and Sting gone?
Christian: Well Shane, it’s as simple as this….There was never an alliance. We both hate Jarrett, but so does 90% of the locker room. You don’t see me making friends with all the superstars due to that. Sting and I have a mutual respect, that won’t change based on bad communication. Tonight, it’s every man for himself. I can beat Jarrett, that’s how I got this bad boy on my shoulder right here. And Sting, I think an un unprettier would be enough to get the 1, 2, 3. All I can say, is whoever I beat, one thing, and one thing only will happen. And that’s Captain Charisma walking away with the NWA title. The title is staying with me and my peeps in the Christian Coalition. Do you know why Shane? Because That’s…….HOW I ROLL.
Match #4: AMW, Petey Williams, Bobby Roode, & Eric Young vs. Team 3D, Rhino, Killings, & Sabu
AMW and Team 3D are brawling in the crowd, Roode is brawling with Killings, Sabu is brawling with Williams, and Rhino is brawling with Young. Harris hits D-Von with a chair. Ray and Storm are exchanging rights and lefts. Sabu sends Petey into the cage, and does a standing moonsault. Killings gives Roode an axe kick on the other side of the ring. Rhino gives Young a gore, and goes for the cover. 1...2..but Harris charges to the ring and just makes the save. Rhino attempts a gore at Harris, but Harris gives him a spear. Harris pulls out handcuffs, and handcuffs Rhino to the cage. Harris turns around into a 3-D, but Storm breaks up any attempt at a pin. Storm gives Ray a super kick. D-Von then gives Storm a brain buster DDT. Roode then hits D-Von with a northern lariat. Killings then gives Roode an axe kick. Killings then runs right into the Canadian Destroyer. Young then pokes Killings in the eyes, and sends him into the cage. The only men standing are Young and Sabu. Sabu sends him into the cage, then hits him with a chair. Sabu goes for the cover. 1...2...but Elix Skipper comes in and breaks it up. Skipper hits Sabu across the head with the chair twice, and then gives him the play of the day onto the chair. Brother Ray tries to make the save, but Skipper knocks him down. Young goes for the cover on Sabu. 1...2...3.
Winners: AMW & Team Canada
West: WHAT? Elix Skipper?
Tenay: We should’ve known! Elix Skipper was very vocal about his Canadian background in WCW, and it looks like he’s returning to old form!
West: Team Canada is even stronger now! I can’t believe what we’ve just seen!

As Abyss gets up, Styles gives him another Styles Clash. Instead of going for the cover, Styles climbs the cage. He climbs all the way to the top, and he’s standing at the top. He goes for a spiral tap from the top of the cage, but Abyss rolls out of the way, and Styles misses. Styles is lying there motionless, and Abyss puts his arm on top of him for the cover. 1...2...3.
Winner: Abyss
Tenay: What a brutal battle!
West: A.J. Styles gave it his all! I hope he’s okay.
Tenay: The referees are helping A.J. Styles to the back. Speaking of the back, let’s send you there while Shane Douglas is standing next to Monty Brown.
Douglas: Thanks Mike. I’m standing by with the Alpha Male Monty Brown. Now Monty, we all know that for a while you’ve been trying to get that title shot. However, this is a huge roadblock. Scott Steiner so far has a 2-0 record in TNA, and is a former WCW champion. He is making his pay-per-view debut. Usually Steiner is the first one on the attack, but you initially laid down the challenge to Steiner. What’re your thoughts going into the match?
Monty: My thoughts Shane? I’ll tell you the Alpha Male’s thoughts. It’s simple why I did that. Jeff Jarrett makes no sense. He was yelling at an invasion of the older stars. He goes around whining like a second grader about how there’s going to be an invasion. Look what happens. Jeff brings in Roidzilla to be with him. Well, the Alpha Male isn’t going to sit by and let Big Momma Pump take his spot. It happened with Christian Cage, it happened with Sting, but it won’t happen with Steiner. I don’t care if he has the largest arms in the world. I don’t care if he wears a silver Egyptian thing on his head. I don’t care if he has sirens in his music. The Alpha Male will roll over Steiner, and go on his quest to become the NWA champion. After I’m done with Steiner, I’m going hunting for the NWA title.
Douglas: Woah Woah Woah, Monty, sorry to rain on your parade, but you are thought of by many as the underdog in this match. If you were to lose, does that mean that you fall down, and Steiner is in line for a title shot?
Monty: SILENCE. I’m not stupid Shane, I know what’s on the line. This is the make or break match. All I know, is I’m going to give Scott Steiner a beating he’ll never forget. And with the beating…comes the PPPPOOOOOOUUUUNNNNNNNNNCCCCEEEEEEEEE…….PERIOD!
