WFWF Presents
LIVE from The Pepsi Center, Denver, Colorado
The Main Event!
Three Ways to Die
Tugarin Zmey vs. Chase Landon vs. Joshua Dean
In the closing moments of Men & Monsters we saw this whole thing come together. Joshua Dean ran with his usual knight in shining armour schtick, but coming out of a brutal match with the WFWF World Heavyweight No. 1 Contender Trace Demon, he didn't stand much of a chance against The Dragon, who was still firing on all cylinders after the KoKaine Konspiracy's victory. Enter the current WFWF Tag Team Champions. They clear the ring of the bad guys, steel chairs in hand and seemingly save the day, however a sudden change of heart sees Dean and Shannon dropped with consecutive chair laden superkicks. It seems the champs wanted to show off their dominance over the division in one swoop. Now we have one hell of a main event as we see one half of the current champions, Chase Landon, take on one half of the current no. 1 contenders, Tugarin Zmey, with the added heat of one very pissed off Mr Dean. Get that spare pair of underpants ready.
Getting a Head Start
Samael Ahriman vs. Jayson Garrett
The sister match to the main event and arguably making Black Friday a candidate for a double header show sees champion vs. challenger go head to head in a one on one environment. Jayson Garrett has found himself in a string of career enhancing situations in the last 6 months and this current feud with the KoKaine Konspiracy only adds to that list. On this show he'll have the chance to face off against a man who's tenure far out lasts his own, whilst also getting the chance to feel out his opponent prior to their Tag Team Title match at The Clash. Samael Ahriman whilst out of full time action for a huge length of time until recently has returned with a series of earth shattering bangs, most of the time resonating from the steel chair he has just wrapped around some one's head. Ahriman, whilst not a decorated superstar, is respected in the WFWF and you have to believe in the final week before his Tag Team Title shot he's going to be more focused than ever. A win here will give either man the mind game advantage going into The Clash. Who can turn this into a game changer?
The Damn Strong Mid Card Match
Daniel Kirkbride vs. Ante Whitner
The winning streak is over. Last week Daniel Kirkbride walked in undefeated and walked out with a loss to Joe Bishop on his history, a black mark on an otherwise startling first few months in the WFWF. Now he needs to get right back up on that horse and what better way to do exactly that than a match with the reigning WFWF National Champion. Ante Whitner has proven himself as one of the brightest new talents in the company in the past year and his hard work is starting to pay off as he now has championship gold around his waist but the hard work doesn’t end there. This is a contest where both men have plenty to prove and also a whole lot to lose. A win moves you on up the WFWF pecking order, a loss sends you right back down again. Nobody wants to be a loser.
Black Friday Proving Ground Matches
Axel Thornstowe vs. Joe Bishop
&
Drakz vs. Shapiro
Black Friday always brings with it great bargains but also big risks because seriously, the WFWF is nothing once you’ve brawled with a five hundred pound white woman over a coat. Anyway, the WFWF has its very own Black Friday this year and just like the real one high risk comes with a high reward. The proving ground is simple, a victory for Axel Thornstowe or Shapiro grants them entry in the WFWF National Championship match at The Clash. If both men win it becomes a triple threat match, if both men lose then the most impressive gets the shot. Of course it’s not that simple, because the two men they’re facing are no walkover. Shapiro takes on Drakz, the reigning WFWF World Heavyweight Champion, the man who in a short amount of time must defend that title against Trace Demon, whilst Axel Thornstowe battles Joe Bishop, Demon’s cohort in the Final Revolution who is gunning for the International Championship once again. If you can find us two harder proving ground foes then be my guest.
