Oh wow, my Storm Collectibles Scorpion is ON THE WAY!! So excited.
Disappointingly though, it's finally revealed that the special edition version is just blood spattered. I was hoping for something more, like extra accessories or a human form head (from before Scorpion died) or something. No interest in blood spattered versions myself.

 ing hell I need that Storm Collectibles Scorpion like yesterday. I'm guessing Goro and Shaq Kahn will cost double if they get released. I hope they're also able to make Smoke, Rain, Reptile, Ermac (all classic ninja for those 4), Kitana, Mileena, Jade, Skarlet (I know she's super unlikely but I really liked her), and Kintaro. Those are all my absolute favorites. Storm is the first line who's actually making good MK figures. That price point is harsh, but the figures are choice from what I've seen. |

I would love to get all the ninjas but honestly now Scorpion is out, the rest are low on my wishlist of characters, simply because it would be pretty easy to repaint the Scorpion figure into all the other ninjas, should the line end (which don't get me wrong, I really hope does not happen). At this point my top wants would be a female ninja and a cyborg ninja for regular sized characters, and Motaro and Sheeva for larger sized characters. Mainly because it would be easy to customize all the other ninjas once we get one of each type, and of all the remaining characters Motaro and Sheeva would be hardest to customize due to their vastly non-human shapes.
But on a more hopeful note, I do really hope Storm can get every character from the original trilogy made (MK1,MK2,MK3,UMK3,MKT) and maybe some from MK4 too. Come on Storm, give us the MK line we deserve.

My only concern is the price point. 6 inch figures for 50 bucks a pop is a tough sell. And Storm Collectibles' communication hasn't helped. Tons of delays, no direct responses to anyone on their FB, etc. No one even knew what the "special edition" figures were until other retailers actually got the figures in. And yeah pretty disappointing. A scorpion with blood on it? Pass. But the line itself is easily the best representation of MK figures ever. |

SCORPION HAS JUST... GOT OVER HERE!!! The Storm Collectibles one I mean for anyone not following along.
Sorry guys no pics but it is an amazing figure. My only concern is how I'm gonna customize these suckers into the other ninjas, since that rubber sash thingy is on there good, and really it would be hard to paint thoroughly without taking it off first. Need to figure out if I can take it off, paint it, and put it back on again without wrecking it. But can't seem to find a seam or any sign of how the thing all fits together. Hmmmm...

I was kind of whatever with this line, but after seeing these two I'll definitely get into it cuz I don't want to regret it later on when they release more characters. That Shao Kahn figure is beautiful!!   |

Shao Kahn looks pretty awesome too though obviously we've already seen him. I'm a little concerned why they haven't got Goro in the display though... Hmm...
Please all MK fans support the heck out of this line so we can maybe, FINALLY get a comprehensive line of as many characters as possible. This line is amazing quality and celebrates the classic characters that made such an impact on the video game world. IT MUST LIVE A LONG LIFE!!!
Just FYI everybody, I bought two Scorpions already, and have also preordered SEVEN (yes, seven!) Sub-Zeros. Just to show how strongly I am personally supporting this line. And if you haven't guessed, the extras are intended for customs (e.g. Ermac, Smoke, Tremor, etc).

Just observing Scorpion and Sub-Zero, these seem to be selling out fast and are not available in many places online, so I want to make sure I have plenty in storage, just in case the line ends before they make all the ninjas, I can then customize them. But I really hope that doesn't happen of course. And I really want to see more (non-ninja male) characters too. As I probably said already in this thread, a female ninja and a cyborg ninja are my 2 most wanted regular sized figures right now, and Motaro and Sheeva are my 2 most wanted larger figures right now. But I'm also desperate for Raiden, Liu Kang and everyone else too. Man I would love if this line was so successful they could get to make at least every playable character from the original trilogy in their classic attire. It really would be a dream come true for me. Personally I would buy them all (multiples of each in many cases), plus background characters (e.g. Shadow Priests, Masked Guards, etc) and rumor characters (e.g. Nimbus Terrafaux, Hornbuckle, etc.) |

Damn Storm is killing it!
Although they should be with their prices. I imagine Shaq Kahn will be in the 75-100 range. And that Reptile better have an alternate ninja head.
I hope they can get through all the female ninjas as well. Even Skarlet, although that's a pipe dream. But I really liked her character. Fit perfectly in the MK universe.

Just bought a crap load of brand new and rare Mortal Kombat figures, I wanted to sell them and earn some money but they've started to grow on me so I'm deciding to keep the old Jazwares ones and selling the MK9 ones cuz I hate how they look, If anyone is interested in the MK9 figures I have them all brand new minus Baraka.

My Storm Collectables Sub-Zeros are apparently in stock! Thought they'd be a while yet to be honest but still the faster these things come out the better.

 Long time no post (here) Loving the Storm Collectibles stuff guys. Can't afford them but they're really a thing of beauty. Glad to see all the positive reception they're getting considering it was a relatively unknown company (to me at least.) Their Street Fighter stuff looks great too. |
