LIVE from the Baltimore Arena in Baltimore, Maryland!
Fireworks! Music! Loud noises! What time is it? It’s WFWF time!
The WFWF intro lights up the crowd in excitement, the music begins to play louder and louder, but the WFWF is left in shock as the lights dim and the intro is paused.
Cameron Stone: We've got a great show for you all tonight! But what’s going on here?
Alecia Matthews: It appears we’re having technical difficulties, that, or “The Final Revolution” is playing with some things backstage again.
Samael Ahriman: Joe Bishop, a member of The Final Revolution, will be taking on Dex in a stellar main-event later tonight, but Trace Demon isn’t even in the building.
Alecia Matthews: So he says.
The words “Sovereignty” appear on the titantron, covering an image of Trace Demon. The fans give a decent pop, but the appraisal stops short as the screen turns to static.
The lights throughout the entire area blacken, leaving the entire arena in question. The lights begin to flash simultaneously to "To Glory", the guitar riffs echo throughout the entire arena, the fans explode as the theme becomes more symphonic. The lights reveal the WFWF World Heavyweight Champion, Dex. He is wearing a black tuxedo, signaling his true mental alertness he throws a fist into the air. The fans cheer even louder as he begins to walk down the aisle way, gripping onto his World Title that shines incredibly bright in the lowly lit entrance ramp. He walks on-wards with a smile on his face, demonstrating true confidence as well. He slides into the ring, putting his title first and delicately sliding it into the ring. He picks up the title and raises it into the air as the cold gripping corners explode white smoke into the air. He holds the title until the amazing pyrotechnic display has run it's course. A WFWF staff member hands Dex a microphone as he smiles, gripping his title on his shoulder with one hand, and speaking with the other.
Alecia Matthews: The World Champion Dex is here! Let’s see what he has to say.
Dex: Tonight I square off against Joe Bishop, Trace’s friend, and tag team partner. Bishop, you’re weak. Do you not realize you’re simply barely fulfilling your role as Trace’s b*tch boy? Bishop is going to come out here to take me out, and cripple me before my WFWF Title Match. I’m aware of that. But Bishop is simply a puppet for a much greater operation, Bishop is the first target.
The fans give a decent pop as Dex moves the microphone closer to his mouth to speak again.
Dex: Now Bishop, you've had a decent tenure in the WFWF, you’re a three time National Champion, and the current Intercontinental Champion. Now the average person may be astounded by your achievements here in the WFWF. But you took the easy way out. You cheat, you play by the same stereotypical bad-guy handbook that nearly every douche-bag in this industry owns. You study that book, you read it up, but tonight will be your wake up call. First you were b*tch boy to Solomon, then you became b*tch boy to Trace Demon, and tonight, you become b*tch boy to Dex. And if you took anything out of what I said about you to heart, take the constant, you are and always will be, a b*tch boy to someone greater!
The fans explode in appraisal as Dex chuckles and takes a quick breath.
Cameron Stone: Trace and Joe are probably looking to come out any minute now. The WFWF Champion has left himself wide open; an attack from Bishop almost seems cliché at this point.
Dex: Bishop, I’ll sum it all up for you. You’ll lose tonight. But Bishop is only minuscule in comparison to Demon; he’s a small appetizer of the entree I’ll be eating at Battle at The Garden. Now to my next point of discussion, introducing first, with a combined weight of six hundred and fourty pounds, please give a warm welcome to, THE SOVEREIGNTY!
Three men dressed in black riot gear-esque pants and grey cut-off shirts walk from the entrance ramp. They’re met with a decent pop, as they all slowly walk, intimidating everyone in the arena. They slide in the ring and circle the World Heavyweight Champion.
Alecia Matthews: Who are these men?
Samael Ahriman: It looks like Dex has his back-up as well, Demon and Dex are on an even playing field at this point!
Dex: Don’t fear, they’re with me. These men all have storied careers in martial arts, and have all been personally handpicked by me. We’re the Sovereignty. We stand for justice, and order. All of which Demon and his entourage of misfits seem to all lack. We’re out here to give wrestling what it needs, to restore it back to the glory days, and wipe away this era of deceit. Demon is the first man to be cleaned. For justice. For the fans. For everything wrestling stands for!
The three men lift their arms and form a fist in the air as they are interrupted by a familiar tune, the fans who were completely hot, now turned silent as "Shoot the War Pigs" booms throughout the arena.
Cameron Stone: For glory, for respect, these guys are out here to make an impact, not only on Demon, but wrestling as an industry as well!
Samael Ahriman: Talk about cliche, here comes The Final Revolution!
Alecia Matthews: They aren't going to be too happy about this, we might even see The Sovereignty prove their merits by taking down the three men right here right now!
Cameron Stone: 3 against 4? That’s unfair, but when you have the talent that The Final Revolution does, everything becomes unfair towards the opposition.
It isn’t The Final Revolution that emerges from backstage but rather a singular aspect of it – Jason Anders, looking as smug as ever with a microphone in hand. He signals for the music to be cut and the sound guy obliges.
Dex: What, Trace sending another of his b*tch boys out here to do his dirty work for him?
Jason Anders: Seriously Dex? ‘B*tch boy’? What are you, the ten year old who just learned a new curse word? Let me give you a little piece of advice Dex, grow up. You’re the WFWF World Heavyweight Champion or so I’m told, you need to act with a little more… gravitas. You can’t walk around just shouting obscenities, you need to grip people, you need to hold them in the palm of your hands. You need to do things that grab people’s attention, you need to do the kind of things they won’t forget, you need to be unique. This Dex, this isn’t unique. You preach about your little group being about restoring this place to its former glory but guess what Dex, you’re just ripping us off. The Final Revolution are about justice, we’re about restoring the WFWF to what it used to be, to what it was before you even stepped foot inside that ring, you’re just copying our message without any clue what it really means. And you’re doing it not with people who actually care about the WFWF, but with three muscly freaks. I’m not even going to mention the obvious homoerotic undertones you’ve got going on right now.
The crowd laugh at that one, they can’t help themselves. Inside the ring Dex gets visibly agitated, but Jason Anders is far from finished.
Jason Anders: Now Dex you said something earlier, you accused Joe Bishop of taking the easy way out, you accused him of cheating his way to where he is right now. So tell me Dex, do you not feel the least bit hypocritical?
Dex: What are you talking about? I’ve fought for all this; I’m the WFWF World Heavyweight Champion-
Jason Anders: No Dex, no! You might be holding that title right now but that doesn’t make you a champion. By my reckoning you’re the first WFWF World Heavyweight Champion in history that hasn’t actually won a match for the WFWF World Heavyweight Championship, and that’s part of the problem around here. See you’re trying to accuse people like Trace Demon and Joe Bishop of not earning what they’ve got when you didn’t earn that title. Yet you get to haul it around and hold it up high and why? Because you kiss ass. You kissed Shawn Malakai’s ass all the way to the title but guess what Dex, people see you for what you really are. Every single person in the back who has been at the top of the card recognises you for exactly what you are. A poser, a placeholder, a paper champion… a fraud. You don’t deserve that title, you don’t deserve to be in the spotlight and you sure as hell don’t deserve to be wrestling a man like Trace Demon in the main event of a per per view. The truth is Dex there is nobody in this company that has cheated their way to the top of the company as much as you have.
Cameron Stone: I like Dex, I do, but when you really think about it none of what Jason Anders is saying is actually a lie.
Alecia Matthews: Oh come on; don’t tell me you’re buying into the Final Revolution’s bull excuses.
Cameron Stone: I’m not saying I agree with what they’re doing, I’m just saying Dex didn’t exactly get that title in the most traditional of ways.
Jason Anders: You holding that title is the very reason this company is falling apart and I see exactly what this group really is, it’s the only hope you have of keeping that ill-gotten title around your waist. As long as you are the WFWF World Heavyweight Champion this company is destined to die which means you are the first step. The Final Revolution will do anything it takes to make this company great again… The Final Revolution will do whatever it takes to halt your illegitimate title reign. You can’t stop us because we, unlike you, are not false. We not pander, we do not pretend, we do not copy, we are revolutionaries…
The lights suddenly flicker off inside the arena and the big screen lights up. On it stands Trace Demon and Joe Bishop staring down the lens of the camera inside their dark little room, much like last week.
Joe Bishop: We have our manifesto.
Trace Demon: And you’re on the list.
Joe Bishop pulls out a copy of the Holy Bible that has been crudely written on with red paint to say “The Final Revolution’s Manifesto”. He begins to read from the first page.
Joe Bishop: The Final Revolution demands an end to undeserving champions. All those still standing will have their titles torn from them…
Trace Demon: Through whatever means necessary.
The screen flickers out and the lights slowly light back up. Jason Anders has vanished from the stage leaving Dex and his “Sovereignty” left in the ring. Dex looks furious and focused, knowing full well that tonight he gets his hands on Joe Bishop… if the Final Revolution doesn’t get their hands on him first.
Alecia Matthews: Alright fans, we are just gearing up tonight here at Up The Garden Path, and our next match has been one that I’ve been personally looking forward to since this card was announced!
Samael Ahriman: Nikki Dean certainly impressive in her in ring debut last week, so much so that she has already earned a spot in the National Title match at Battle at the Garden.
Cameron Stone: But tonight guys, she takes on a very focused and determined Daniel Kirkbride, who was just as impressive in his match at Twisted. It’s easy to why the WFWF Galaxy should get excited for this match!
Alecia Matthews: Later tonight, we'll see a fatal four way to decide another of the combatants and then Justin Tyger and Johnny Magnum will square off to fill the other spot, but for right now let’s just sit back and watch what promises to be an exciting matchup. Let’s send it up to Christa Adina!
Christa Adina is standing in the ring, mic in hand.
Christa Adina: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!
A blinding, white light emanates from the stage as "Alive" by P.O.D. blares out throughout the arena. Daniel Kirkbride dives out from behind the curtain into the light, his arms spread wide, turning on the spot to take in the entire atmosphere of the packed house. He pauses on the stage, raising both hands to the sky as he hangs his head momentarily, before clenching his hands into fists, throwing a right fisted punch into the air before him as he begins making his way down the ramp, refusing to pass by a single outstretched hand for a high five as he approaches the ringside area. Ascending the ring steps, he climbs the outside ring post, pausing with one foot on the top turnbuckle, one on the second, and points both fingers again toward the sky before dropping into the ring, arms spread wide once more, as if to almost embrace the crowd cheering his arrival.
Christa Adina: Introducing first, from Austin, Texas, weighing in at two hundred twenty pounds. Here is DANIEL KIIIRRKKBRIIIDDEE!
Alecia Matthews: Daniel can really open some eyes tonight if he manages to knock Nikki Dean off before her title match at the pay per-view, and he certainly has the look of absolute focus here tonight.
Roar by Katy Perry hits as Nikki makes her way onto the stage. She walks down the ramp slapping hands with the fans on each side at a high energy pace. She climbs the stairs and heads toward the turnbuckle. Climbing the buckle, she throws both hands up with her index fingers up in the number one, before flipping into the ring with an aerial, landing on her feet and throwing her right hand up with the number one.
Christa Adina: And introducing his opponent, from Atlanta, Georgia, weighing in at one hundred thirty five pounds. She is the “Bad Teacher” NIKKIIIIIIIIII DDDDEEEAAANNN!
Samael Ahriman: Nikki looks much more sure of herself tonight, and I believe it is because of the victory she earned in her last appearance.
DING DING!
Nikki and Daniel circle the ring and lock up. A side headlock from Daniel pulls Nikki to a knee. As Nikki regains her balance she backs Daniel up into the ropes. As Nikki pushes Daniel off to break the hold, Daniel keeps the pressure on to really hold onto the headlock. Nikki pulls herself down into a schoolgirl pin, but Daniel manages to roll out before the ref can even get into position. Nikki grabs an arm wringer and kicks the underside of Daniel’s arm to loosen him up before torqueing the wrist for control. She runs to the corner with control, and hops off the ropes as she reaches the second turnbuckle and spins into a big time armdrag! Daniel pops up to his feet and Nikki catches him charging in with a deep armdrag. Nikki hits the ropes as she gets to her feet and catches Daniel with a huge snap hurricanrana that sends him sprawling overhead to the ropes. Daniel gets to a knee and looks to be assessing the situation.
Alecia Matthews: And Daniel Kirkbride is taking a second to think about this guys.
Cameron Stone: This kid knows how big of a matchup this is, and it looks like he’s going to take his time to minimize mistakes.
Samael Ahriman: With both competitors having impressive victories at Twisted, it would be a good idea to slow it down. Notice that Nikki didn’t actively pursue a bigger combination once Daniel created some distance. Very well trained there!
Daniel returns to his feet and the two combatants square off and lockup. This time it’s Daniel seizing control with an arm wringer. Nikki aerials out of the arm wringer and drops low to look for a sweep. Daniel jumps over the arm attempting the sweep and rolls, using that momentum to send Nikki over with an armdrag! Daniel holds on to the arm, only for Nikki to hit a sitout switch and look for a headkick on the break, which Daniel avoids upon returning to his feet. The lock up again and Nikki latches onto a side headlock. Daniel pushes her off into the ropes and as Nikki comes off the ropes on the rebound he flattens Nikki with a big shoulderblock! Daniel springs off the ropes and Nikki rolls to his stomach as Daniel hurdles her. Nikki pushes herself to her feet and catches him with a drop toe hold as he hits the rebound! Nikki dives into the ropes with a handspring and Daniel once again moves away as Nikki back flips and lands on her feet. She turns around and Daniel comes charging in with a clothesline. Nikki ducks and rolls Daniel up with a leg scissors pinning combination!
1….
2….
Kickout by Daniel!
Knowing she was close to catching Daniel sleeping, Nikki is back on the attack with a kick to the ribs of Daniel, followed by one to the thigh, looking to break the larger opponent’s base. As she runs off the ropes, she looks for the Running Knee, but Daniel catches her on his shoulders and stands up, looking for a powerbomb. Nikki flips off Daniel’s shoulders and as she lands on her feet, Daniel is there with a big forearm shiver to the head that sends Nikki to the ropes. The momentum of the rebound sends Nikki into a spin as she nails him with a Rolling Elbow to the temple that stuns Daniel. Nikki grabs the head and looks for the Falling Neckbreaker, but Daniel reverses and drops Nikki with a Swinging Neckbreaker! Nikki sits up holding her head as Daniel looks for a followup pin.
1…..
2…..
Kickout by Nikki!
Alecia Matthews: Nice counter into the neckbreaker by Daniel Kirkbride!
Samael Ahriman: I wonder if both of them can keep up this pace.
Cameron Stone: And with Nikki having a title match soon, she can’t afford for this match to be drawn out.
Daniel pulls Nikki to her feet and connects with a forearm shiver to the side of the head, staggering her. Daniel throws a kick that is caught by Nikki, as he hops around and scores with an enziguri that faceplants Nikki on the mat! She holds the back of her head as Daniel rushes over to the turnbuckle. He climbs to the top rope and measures Nikki as she still holds the back of her head before jumping off and connecting with a big legdrop to the back of the head! Opting not to go for a cover, he instead he goes to work on the neck and head with a reverse chinlock. The ref gets into position to ask Nikki if she submits, only for Nikki to shake her no even though she wears the anguish on her face. She pushes herself up to a knee and elbows Daniel in the ribs to break the hold. Nikki runs off the ropes and Daniel elevates her up in the air and catches her with a Superkick on the way down! Nikki sprawls to the mat, she looks punch drunk, which gives Daniel the opportunity to charge in and plant her with a sitout facebuster! Cover by Daniel,
1….
2….
Kickout by Nikki!
Daniel looks up at the ref, making sure of the count. The ref reminds him of the count, and Daniel’s face turns in frustration. As Nikki pulls herself to her feet, Daniel looks for even more damage. He takes a little too much time, allowing Nikki to kick Daniel in the face with a roundhouse kick. Daniel stiffens up as he falls into the ropes. On the rebound he catches Nikki with a running dropkick that sends her into the corner! Nikki hits and falls to her face as Daniel walks over to the corner. He lifts her up to the top rope and climbs up top. Both are in a dangerous spot and Nikki fights back with a couple of punches to the gut. Daniel fights back with European Uppercut that rocks Nikki. Daniel jumps up and looks for a top rope Frankensteiner, but Nikki locks her legs in and holds onto the ropes, effectively blocking and sending Daniel flipping over to the mat and hitting stomach first. Nikki recomposes herself and climbs to the top rope. Daniel stands up holding his gut and Nikki jumps off with a beautiful flying crossbody! Daniel rolls through for a pin,
1…
2…..
Kickout by Nikki!
Alecia Matthews: Almost had her there!
Samael Ahriman: Great awareness shown by Daniel Kirkbride! I’m loving this action!
Daniel slaps the mat, frustrated that his savvy counter didn’t get the job done. Nikki is back to her feet, still feeling the effects of the earlier offense as Daniel looks for a second Superkick, but Nikki sidesteps and sweeps the plant leg and sends Daniel flat to his back. The crowd is starting to get hot and Nikki is feeding off it as she connects with a spin wheel kick as Daniel gets to his feet. Daniel pops up to his feet and Nikki hits the ropes and snaps off a beautiful headscissors takedown. Daniel spins around off a missed punch and Nikki connects with a backstabber! Daniel whiplashes forward as he falls to a knee, but he’s not out of the woods yet as Nikki hops to the second rope and drops a blinded Daniel with the Flying Chuck! Nikki hooks the legs for the cover,
1…
2….
Kickout by Daniel!
Trying to keep her composure, Nikki measures Daniel up as she looks to put this match away. As Daniel gains his footing, Nikki grabs his head with a three quarter facelock, looking for the Valedictorian Blast (Standing Shirauni), but Daniel puts the breaks on it and runs in and hits a running bulldog! Nikki turns over and holds her face in pain as Daniel has taken the time to climb the turnbuckles. He jumps off, looking for the flying elbow drop and NIKKI MOVES OUT OF THE WAY!!!! Daniel hits the mat hard and sits up holding his back and arm in pain as Nikki gets to her feet. She latches onto a side headlock. Daniel tries to push her off, but Nikki is persistent and holds onto Daniel’s head and hits him with a knee to the face, followed by a second, third before sweeping forward and planting him head first into the mat with the Flunk Out (Headlock Driver)!
Alecia Matthews: The Flunk Out! She planted him right on his head! That has to be it! Here’s the cover,
1…
2…
And Kirkbride kicks out!
Cameron Stone: One thing about it, you can’t question these two’s toughness and will to win!
Nikki motions for the end of the match and as Daniel gets to his feet, Nikki steps behind with a hammerlock and looks for the Headcheck hook kick, but Daniel ducks the kick and frees himself. As Nikki turns around and Daniel connects with a big Superman Punch! Nikki goes down to a knee, but she’s still conscious. Daniel walks over and Nikki answers with a big Bicycle Kick! Daniel this time goes to a knee and Nikki charges toward the ropes with a handspring. As Daniel turns around, Nikki backflips up to his shoulders, spinning around and planting him with the Satellite DDT! As Nikki gets to her feet, she sees that Daniel is foggy, but not hurt enough yet. She backs up into the corner and rolls into a kip up, looking for the Honor Roll. As she jumps up for the clothesline, Daniel is playing possum, but it’s too late for Nikki to realize as he catches her out of nowhere with the New Covenant (Cutter)! Daniel turns her over and hooks the legs,

3!!!!!!
Christa Adina: Here is your winner, DANIEL KIIIRKBRRRIIDE!
Alecia Matthews: Daniel Kirkbride is on a roll! This kid has a bright future ahead of him!
Samael Ahriman: That was an impressive counter by Daniel in such a high paced match! Nobody lost here tonight!
Cameron Stone: It’ll be interesting to see how this affects Nikki Dean going into her title match.
Daniel rolls out of the ring as the ref follows him to the outside and raises his hands in victory. In the ring, Nikki pushes herself to her knees, just realizing what happened. She looks upset by the result as she runs her fingers through her hair, but nods her head in acceptance of the result.
Once the ring is cleared the arena goes dark and we're presented with a message on the huge screens at the top of the ramp.
Up The Garden Path....
Fitting. BBC Show. But Fitting.
I wonder if there are flowers along the path.
Will I need to look at the flowers for the last time?
Is it my time?
Is it feeling right?
I believe so.
Others however don't think that.
I know its time.
Its been that way for a while now.
Its time to come out. Its time for the last three pieces to be put in place.
I'm coming home. I'm coming back where it all started.
Its the beginning of the end.
I'm damn ready.
Will I get what I want? Will I have to steal what I want? Will I have to beg for what I want?
I'm not a beggar.
I've earned this.

Cameron Stone: Welcome back, everybody. Up next, we continue the National Championship Tournament with this amazing 4-way bout. Let head back head down to Christina at ringside!
Christina Adina: The following contest is a fatal four-way match, where the winner will move on to Battle at the Garden to compete for a chance to become the WFWF National Champion!
Seagulls Over Rhinoceros Bay Part 2 begins to play out of the speakers
Christina Adina: Introducing first, from Parts Unknown, weighing 215 pounds, Axel Thornstowe!!
Axel makes his way to the ring slowly with no emotion on his face.
Alecia Matthews: Man, just looking at this guy gives me the creeps!
Samael Ahriman: This newcomer is strictly business guys! Not much is known about Axel, who knows what he man have in his bag of tricks.
Superpredators by Massive Attack begins to play
Christina Adina: Next, from Baltimore, Maryland, weighing 230 pounds, “The Wrestling Messiah” ACM!
ACM stares at the emotionless, Axel Thornstowe, as he makes his way to the ring. Boos echo throughout the arena.
Cameron Stone: This is who my money is on to win this match guys!
Alecia Matthews: I don't blame you, ACM is a tough man. I've heard a lot of excellent things about his in-ring ability, but I heard he has a terrible attitude!
King Zero by Drowning Pool begins to play.
Christina Adina: From Odessa, Texas, weighing 200 pounds, Shapiro!!!
15 seconds after King Zero by Drowning Pool kicks in Shapiro emerges through the curtain with his trademark black leather jacket. He stops on the stage bouncing from left to right switching feet to get loose. As he starts down the ramp he pounds his fist getting them ready for the contact that's sure to come. He slides under the bottom rope and as he walks across the ring he gives the referee a silent glare. A silent message that he will not accept anything fishy from the official. Shapiro steps on the 2nd turnbuckle, looks out at the crowd as he pounds each fist 1 last time before raising them both high into the air.
Samael Ahriman: This guy is trying to leave his mark in this company. He has a chance to do that tonight! Let's see if he has what it takes!
Cameron Stone: I might change my pick, Samael! This contest looked great on paper, it might exceed my expectations!
Christina Adina: Finally, making his way to the ring from The Las Vegas Strip, weighing 235 pounds, Ron Mexico!!!
Ron gets in the ring, say a prayer, kisses his cross necklace, and hands it to the ref.
Cameron Stone: This might actually be my pick guys! No, I pick Shapiro...wait, I pick ACM! No, actually I take Axel. Wait--
Alecia Matthews: Shut up, Cameron! Ron Mexico looks to prove he is more than just another name in this business. He has dreams of becoming a champion and he has a chance to be one step closer to achieving that dream here tonight!
* DING! DING! DING! *
Samael Ahriman: And we are underway!
All four men are standing in their respective corners and eye each other down. ACM and Ron run toward each other and begin swinging for the fences. Shapiro and Axel begins exchanging blows on the other side of the ring. Ron gains the upperhand on ACM, lifts up him and hits him with a well-executed, Belly-to-Belly Suplex. Shapiro hits Axel with a running clothesline
Alecia Matthews: Ron seems to be proving some of the doubters wrong here, guys!
Cameron Stone: That was a fantastic clothesline by Shapiro!
Shapiro grabs Axel's hair and pulls him to his feet. He lifts Axel and sets him up for the gordbuster. Axel struggles out of the suplex hold and reverses it with a suplex of his own. ACM gets to his knees. Ron attempts to hit a superkick but ACM ducks underneath. Ron is left vulnerable with his back turned facing ACM. ACM gets up to both feet and hits a dragon suplex with a bridge on Ron Mexico.
1..
2...
The pin is broken up Axel Thornstowe
Cameron Stone: Good ring awareness by Thornstowe!
Samael Ahriman: You aren't kidding! Having a good in-ring IQ can get you a long way in this business, right Alecia?
Alecia Matthews: That is correct, but did you see how beautifully executed that bridge was!?!
The crowd ooh and awes at the close pinfall
Ron Mexico crawls to the corner to regain his energy. Axel begins stomping the life out of ACM. On the other side of the ring is Shapiro who is climbing up on the top turnbuckle.
Alecia Matthews: Looks like Shapiro is going up to the high-risk district!
Samael Ahriman: This might not be in his best interest, guys!
Cameron Stone: What the hell is this guy going to do!?!
Axel turns and Shapiro leaps off the top rope hitting a diving clothesline. Axel grabs his head as he rolls out of the ring. ACM starts to get up and Ron Mexico gets to his feet. Ron grabs ACM and attempts to hit the high angle backbreaker, but ACM slips out of the hold landing on the apron. Ron turns and decks ACM with a rolling elbow. ACM falls off the apron and lands on the hard unforgiving concrete.
Samael Ahriman: What a way to recover from that missed opportunity on the backbreaker!
Cameron Stone: You don't say! I remember getting hit with those a few times in my day.
Alecia Matthews: What a match this has been so far! I am for one not disappointed. These guys are hungry and want to be the next National Champion!
Ron goes to the outside to continue his offense on ACM. Axel gets to his feet. Axel, Ron, and ACM start brawling on the outside. In the ring, Shapiro surveys what's going on outside of the ring, looks at the ropes and back at the outside. The crowd begins to clap in anticipation for what Shapiro might do next.
Cameron Stone: Look at them all swinging for the fences! They are leaving it all on the line here, tonight!
Alecia Matthews: Wait! Cameron, look in the ring. What is Shapiro thinking?
Samael Ahriman: I think I know!
Shapiro bounces of the ropes and dives to the outside landing on all men. They fall down like a set of bowling pins.
Crowd: This is awesome! * Clap-Clap Clap-Clap-Clap *, This is awesome! * Clap-Clap Clap-Clap-Clap * ….
Alecia Matthews: Holy crap! What an amazing move by Shapiro! This guy is doing whatever it takes to win!
Samael Ahriman: Yeah, but it may ultimately be the reason loses this contest.
Shapiro gets to his feet, picks up Axel, and throws his lifeless body into the ring. He slides in the ring to capitalize. Shapiro is sizing him up.
Cameron Stone: He is signaling for that finishing move he calls “The Damage Plan”!
Axel stumbles to his feet and turns around. Shapiro hits The Damage Plan. Shapiro lays his arm across Axel's chest.

2...
3!!!!
Christina Adina: Here's your winner...Shapiro!!!!
Cameron Stone: That's the man I picked to win it right there! Great win for the newcomer.
Alecia Matthews: I'm impressed by this guy. He may very well be our next WFWF National Champion.
Samael Ahriman: I agree, this guy proved himself here tonight. This victory is one he will remember for the rest of his career!
We're backstage and we see Jayson Garrett wearing his gear ready for tonights match with Drakz, with his hoodie over the top, sitting down in a locker next to his bag holding a bottle of water in one hand, his tag title in one hand. Frame walks into the locker room.
Garrett: Frame? How'd you get backstage?
Frame: I was given a pass seeing as I've been helping search for Chase as of late.
Garrett: Alright, so why are you hear?
Frame: I'd like to apologize again to you, I know when you went to try and visit Chase with me he didn't want to see you. He's declined seeing me too a couple of times even. But I saw him just a day ago and he told me to head back to the U-Storage and there was someone waiting for me. They had a box for you and told me to give it to you ASAP. Here it is, I've got to go. I'm sorry again.
Frame quickly exits the locker room. Garrett grabs a car key and slices open the tape on the box. He opens it up and a look of confusion comes across his face. He stares momentarily before pulling the item out of the box. Chase's tag team belt with the nameplate in tact. He stares, still confused, for a few moments before putting it in his bag and leaving.
We return to the ring where we find The Dragon, Tugarin Zmey and DevilKiller standing in the middle of the ring while Kyle Matthews stands outside the ring, awaiting his partner… L7’s “Fast and Frightening” ing rips into the arena and not a moment later, Penny Shannon comes storming out of the curtain. She marches her way down the ramp and grabs Kyle Matthews’ hand as they start to make a run for the ring. The lights aren’t even back on yet as they slip inside and make a run towards Tugarin Zmey and DevilKiller. Shannon knocks DevilKiller with a Cactus Clothesline; Kyle Matthews knocking Tugarin Zmey right in the chest with a dropkick, sending the big man stumbling a little. Matthews on his feet again as he rushes towards Zmey with another dropkick. The Dragon is still stumbling over now, just on the verge of falling over. Matthews springs back to his meet and makes a run for the ropes, bouncing back with another dropkick, but the Dragon manages to catch Matthews in mid-air. Matthews tries to wiggle away, but the Dragon ultimately manuvers him into position for the Absolute Brutality. Matthews continues to fight his way out, causing the Dragon to remain stumbling on his feet until, the Dragan had no choice but to finish Matthews with the Absolute Brutality, inadvertently causing Kyle Matthews to fall into the arena floor.
On the outside, we catch up with Shannon and DevilKiller; both wrestlers exchanging shots by the entrance ramp. DevilKiller blocks a shot from Penny and knocks her with a hard lariat across the jaw, knocking Penny down on the ramp. DevilKiller motions over Penny and grabs a handful of hair, but Penny reaches over and knocks him with a low-blow. DevilKiller squeezes his legs together, his body reeling from the pain. Quickly, Penny rushes up to her feet, grabs DevlKiller by the head and reels him in as she pushes herself off the ramp to nail Devilkiller with a sick tornado ddt, just spiking him headfirst into the unforgiving steel. Panting, Penny sits up as she looks over at DevilKiller, who lies damn near motionless with the exception of his left leg, which is twitching uncontrollably- the arena crowd on their feet now, chanting, “THIS IS AWESOME! Clap-clap-clap-clap-clap THIS IS AWESOME!” Penny forces herself back up to her feet and makes a run for the ring.
Tugarin Zmey looks ready for Penny now as she slides into the ring and makes the charge at him, but the Dragon uses barely any effort as he motions forward and pushes Penny away.
Penny rolls backward but manages to make it back to her feet as she comes charging again, just throwing herself at the Dragon. Tugarin Zmey manages to catch Penny in his arms- and she’s still fighting back! The Dragon motions over and nails her with a vicious sidewalk slam. Tugarin Zmey hooks the legs. 1… 2- Kyle Matthews breaks the three count with a stomp across the back of Tugarin Zmey’s head. Quickly, the young rookie makes the offence with another boot across back of the Dragon’s head. Kyle Matthews patiently circles around Tugarin Zmey, just waiting for the Dragon to rise again. The Dragon is on just on one knee now as Kyle Matthews springs forward with a dropkick across the side of the head, but just barely knocking the Dragon a little. As the Dragon tries to shake it all off, Kyle Matthews motions over and locks him a reverse headlock, really tightening his grip now. Tugarin Zmey pushes his arms forwards and tries to grab Matthews, but the young rookie stretches out his legs now, trying to get the Dragon as far away as possible. Matthews continues to wrench hold from his position, slowly trying to get the Dragon on the canvass. Penny Shannon now, springing back to her feet and making a rush towards the ropes, come charging over now, spiking Tugarin Zmey with the Liberty Cap as Kyle Matthews drives the Dragon with a forward ddt. Penny rolls away and Kyle Matthews hooks the leg. 1… 2…- In an incredible display of brute strength, Tugarin Zmey pushes Kyle Matthews off with a lying gorilla press slam that sent Matthews flying into the air, crashing hard upon the canvass from an incredible height. Penny Shannon rushes over, but the Dragon damn near decapitates the Velocity Grrrl with a sick clothesline, sending her head over feet. Quickly, the Dragon pulls Penny up by her pig-tails and lifts her upon his shoulders, trapping her into the Argentine Backbreaker Race, pulling Penny apart that it isn’t long before the Dragon starts using Penny’s own feet to club her in the back of the head!
The Dragon slams Penny on the canvas, but before he can even go for the cover, Kyle Matthews springs forward with a hard roaring elbow, just knocking the Dragon’s face to the side. Instantly, the Dragon snaps at Kyle Matthews and takes him down with the Claw Hold STO, gripping hard damn near ready to crush Kyle Matthews’ skull if he had to! Penny struggles back to her feet and rushes over, breaking the submission with another Liberty Cap, causing the monster to actually roll out of the ring to regain his bearings as his manager, DMK screams at DevilKiller to return to the ring, DevilKiller slips beneath the ropes, but Penny nails him with her third Liberty Cap for the evening. Penny quickly hooks the legs!
1… 2… 3…
L7’s “Fast and Freightening” hits the PA again. The referee raises both Penny and Kyle’s arms in victory, but it doesn’t last too long as the Dragon stands behind them now and wipes them both out with a hard double clothesline. Penny Shannon has the presence of mind to escape the ring, but there’s nowhere to go for Kyle Matthews! Quickly, the Dragon grabs the rookie by the tights and reels him in for a sidewalk slam and locks him in the MDW Clutch. Officials now rush to the ring to separate both men but it's evident, with DMK standing over the carnage that Tugarin Zmey is far from defeated.
Backstage, ace reporter Daniel Knight is standing by the WFWF interview set with a big smile on his face and mic in hand.
Daniel Knight: Ladies and gentleman, please join me in welcoming my guest at this time, “The Franchise” Josh Dean.
Josh comes into the interview set and has his hood over his head, for the sake of the interview he takes it off.
Daniel Knight: Now Josh obviously Battle of the Garden is shaping up to be a big night for the Dean family with you wife Nikki being involved in the Triple Threat match for the vacant National Title, but I understand through my sources that you have some news about your own about your involvement at the pay per view.
Josh Dean: You’re damn skippy I have some news about my involvement at the pay per view!
Daniel Knight: Care to fill the rest of the WFWF Galaxy in?
Josh Dean: Well I think I can do something like that. But first, let’s talk about a couple of other things for a second. First of all, my lovely wife Nikki is doing what I knew she could do when she first signed her contract. And at the pay per view, she has the chance to make history by becoming the new National Champion. And unless one of the guys in the statistician’s department wants to correct me, a victory by her at Battle at the Garden will be the least amount of matches participated in upon winning one’s first title in this company’s history. With the great names that have passed through these doors, that’s a great accomplishment to achieve and I am proud as hell of her. And damn, things like that remind you how bright the future is for this company because tonight, we get in a time machine and we go five, ten years into the future of WFWF when Big Dave Demento and I step into the ring for the first time tonight against each other. Now Dave and I are pretty good friends. I like that he’s a stand up kind of guy and he’s a hell of a drinking buddy. But tonight he and I are stepping into that ring as opponents, which means we’re fixing to beat the absolute sh*t out of each other tonight in front of these great fans in BALTIMORE, MARYLAND!
The crowd erupts at the mention of their city, giving the cheap pop more heat than expected!
Josh Dean: But listen Daniel, Dave and I realize what we have to do and we’ve made peace with that. And I promise you Dave, no matter how this goes, after the match well head down Dundalk Avenue, shoot some eight ball and wrap our teeth around a couple brews at Running Out Billiards!
The crowd once again erupts at the local establishment.
Daniel Knight: That’s tonight, but looming on the horizon is Battle at the Garden. Could you care to enlighten us about your involvement.
Josh Dean: Yeah, sure. It’s no secret that recently ole Philbo and I have had a difference of opinions regarding professional respect in this business. Well Twisted was the last straw when he attempted to blind me with a fireball and gut me with an Exacto knife. He wants to play these games, and get his minions to do his talking for him instead of coming to me and settling this issue like men, it looks like I’ll have to be the assertive one in getting this issue resolved. So it’s been signed, sealed, delivered and coming to you LIVE on pay per view from the World’s Most Famous Arena, and finally Philbo the D*ldo will have nowhere to run and no one to hide behind because “The Franchise” is bring the fight to his wheelhouse. We all know that Philbo has no interest in anything that doesn’t involve weapons and gore. Well he’ll get his fill of it in NYC, because he and I are going to compete in one of the most brutal of matches that this company has ever seen. And what Philbo needs to understand is that I have no qualms of breaking him at the pay per view. I have no problem beating him and making him feel as powerless as he’s made so many others in this company feel over the last decade. The only difference is that this beating that he has coming at Battle of the Garden won’t stop when he verbally submits. Actually it will, but it’s a specific verbal submission that I’m looking for.
He turns to directly address Phillip Schneider through the camera.
Josh Dean: So Philbo, you wanna get your gorefest fix you mother f*cking junkie, I will be your pusher. But you would be wise to understand that I will bring more that what you’re expecting from this dear ole family man, and way more than what you’re truly prepared for. In your attempt to play games, I’ve seen the weak mind that you really possess. Battle at the Garden Philbo, respect is something worth fighting for, and fight we’re going into only stops when one man utters the words “I respect you”. And nothing will be sweeter to me than to be the one that walks into your wheelhouse and beats you at your own game.
Josh flips his hood up over his head and walks out of the shot.
Daniel Knight: Alecia, back to you!
Cameras pan back to the announce position.
Alecia Matthews: Thanks Daniel, and guys, this card is shaping up to be amazing! Our next match-up is the WFWF National Championship semi-final! Justin Tyger taking on Johnny Magnum!
Cameron Stone: Both of these guys are talented, Tyger’s a veteran to the game and has been the stand out in this tournament so far. But Magnum had a solid showing in his tag match against “The Final Revolution.”
Samael Ahriman: And here comes Christina Adina to get this match underway!
Christina Adina: The following contest is the WFWF National Championship semi-final, introducing first from Lebanon, Tennessee, weighing in at two hundred and forty three pounds, “SOULFIRE” JUSTIN TYGER!
Alecia Matthews: Tyger does have a certain aura within him, the nickname is only fitting!
Cameron Stone: Tyger’s quite the character, but let’s see if he delivers here tonight against a formidable opponent in Johnny Magnum.
"Too Hot" by Loverboy begins to blare throughout the arena. As the song hits tempo, "Soulfire" Justin Tyger bounces out from behind the curtain, spinning in a circle as he throws up the Longhorns sign. He makes his way down the the ring, slapping hands that are extended his way. He jumps up on the apron, wiping off his feet before spinning into the ring. He bounces back and forth between the ropes before stopping and falling on one knee, holding up both hands in the Victory sign and smiling before jumping to his feet and heading to his corner.
Samael Ahriman: This is only one of the great matches we've got in store here tonight, we've already had an impressive start here tonight!
Christina Adina: And his opponent, weighing in at one hundred and eighty five pounds, from Oakland, California, JOHNNY MAGNUM!
“Welcome to Bangkok - Brand New” begins to play as cameras survey the audience as the entrance music begins, and as the music intensifies, so does the feeling in the arena. In an explosion of music and fireworks, Johnny Magnum steps out onto the stage and makes his way down to the ring- the loud and rough music accompanying his vicious strut. He bounds up the steel steps and, from the apron, launches himself onto the second and third rope where he enacts his signature taunt, which, agreeing with his name, is a simple gun made with his thumb and pointer finger. He "fires" at an audience member with a wink, and they swoon or admire the gunslinging hero as he steps off from the top turnbuckle and awaits his opponent/stares his opponent down.
Cameron Stone: Both of these guys have a history in the independents together! This should be an interesting match here!
Alecia Matthews: Both of these men work a similar hard hitting style, so it should be interesting to see who will prevail and move on to the finals of this heated tournament.
* DING DING! *
The referee signals for the bell as both men lock up, with Tyger quickly getting the advantage, locking Magnum into a headlock. Magnum quickly responds by shoving him towards the ropes, Tyger runs the ropes as Magnum bends down attempting to flip the running Tyger on his back. But the experienced Tyger counters by delivering a huge kick to the face of Magnum! Magnum stumbles back as Tyger delivers a massive “Body Solebutt” kick to the face! Magnum falls flat onto the mat as Tyger begins to taunt.
Samael Ahriman: This match has been explosive thus far! Both guys are known for their explosiveness, but Magnum has age on his side. Tyger’s a veteran, but he's definitely keeping up with a pair of fresh legs in Johnny Magnum!
Magnum slowly stands up, groggily as Tyger shoves him back towards the ropes. Magnum lays on the ropes for support as Tyger runs towards Magnum, attempting to clothesline him out of the ring! But somehow, Magnum dodges the maneuver, now leaving Tyger’s back open to an attack. Magnum drop kicks the back of the veteran as he tumbles outside of the ring.
Cameron Stone: Magnum shows off his speed with a brilliant counter!
Tyger slowly begins to stand as Magnum forms a gun with his hands, and shoots it, taunting the fans. Tyger quickly responds by sliding in the ring, and punishing Magnum for his taunt. Tyger throws punch after punch, relentlessly, Magnum eventually falls down, but Tyger kicks him in the head to deliver the finishing blow. Tyger runs the ropes, he gains momentum and jumps knees first onto the fallen Magnum. Magnum yells in pain, but Tyger lifts Magnum up, pulling him by the hair. Tyger grabs onto Magnum’s arm and throws him towards himself, attempting a dangerous lariat! Magnum somehow ducks and nails Tyger with an enziguri.
Alecia Matthews: This match has been very competitive so far with no-one getting the upper-hand here. Momentum seems to be on Magnum’s side for the time being though.
Tyger stands back up after being kicked in the head, Magnum shocked by his resilience irish whips Tyger into the corner. Tyger is met by a devastating jumping double knee to the face!
Samael Ahriman: OUCH! That shot was dirty, Magnum’s got all the momentum in the world right now.
Magnum begins to deliver a series of blows to Tyger as the fans count along as he punches. The count is eventually broken at six as Tyger pushes Magnum off of him, Magnum lands hard on his back. Tyger walks towards the fallen Magnum, and he jumps up and leg drops the neck of Magnum. Tyger then drops down to all fours and hits a massive fury of punches!
Cameron Stone: Tyger returns the favor! I guess he didn't like the gift, but Tyger’s returning it harder than Magnum did!
Samael Ahriman: Both of these guys are doing their all to win this match here tonight. Back and forth it goes, but the veteran is using his experience to pull through right now.
Tyger pulls Magnum back up, he shoves him, Magnum runs back towards Tyger as he hits a devastating Western Lariat! Magnum falls back rapidly and appears to be out cold!
Cameron Stone: What a lariat by Tyger! Magnum was absolutely trucked by the bigger Tyger. Tyger’s size advantage came into play there!
Samael Ahriman: A wicked Lariat, this match looks over.
Tyger helps Magnum up, he then lifts Magnum up and has him in a slam position. Magnum begins to resist by delivering hard elbow shots to the neck of Tyger. Tyger is forced to let go as Magnum knees him in the stomach, Magnum then proceeds to lock the Gunshot! Magnum kicks his leg back and Tyger’s head was nearly impaled by the DDT!
Cameron Stone: OUCH! Beautiful DDT, Magnum has turned this back around! Tyger hit the mat hard there!
Alecia Matthews: Justin Tyger got cocky, he could have won this match already! But he wanted to add his finishing touch. What’s with you guys? Can’t you just take the win without having to spam your finisher at least once in the match?
Samael Ahriman: The finisher’s are always cool. You've got to be cool right? Tyger know what’s up! But it cost him as Magnum hit a nice reversal.
Magnum rolls Tyger for the pin.
1…
2…
Tyger kicks out! Tyger shoves Magnum off, as Tyger begins to stand. Magnum lets off a brutal punch, which sends Tyger back onto his knees. Magnum yells towards the crowd and attempts a clothesline, Tyger slides out of the way, leaving Magnum colliding into the turn-buckle. Tyger stands back up, and the two meet up in the center of the ring and begin to grapple. Tyger punches Magnum in the gut, leaving him groggy. Tyger lifts Magnum up in a suplex position, and falls backwards, leaving Magnum to fall on his head! Tyger hit his finisher, the Northern Lights Bomb!
Samael Ahriman: See, Alecia? Tyger pulled it off, with not only style but finesse as well! Tyger’s got this match won here!
Tyger rolls Magnum over for the pin as the Referee slides and begins the count.
1…
2…
3…!
Cameron Stone: The power of the finisher! Both men fought well but Tyger ended up winning this match-up. The veteran is one step closer to championship gold, as he advances in the National Championship tournament! He’s going to face off against Nikki Dean and, Shapiro in a triple threat match! It should be a great match-up as the title is looking to find a new owner!
Tyger stands smiling as the Referee lifts his arm up.
Christina Adina: And the winner of this match-up, “SOULFIREEEE” JUSTINNNNNNNN TYGEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRR!
Samael Ahriman: Tyger with a well deserved victory here tonight, now he’s one step closer to championship gold!
Alecia Matthews: Stay tuned, because next, Jayson Garrett faces off against Drakz in a heated grudge match! And don’t forget our main-event, Dex will be taking on Joe Bishop in a battle of the ages! Stay tuned after these messages from our sponsors!

We cut to the back, to see Jason Anders and Joe Bishop. It isn't audible, but the two men are clearly deep in conversation. After a brief exchange, Anders walks down the corridor, leaving the International Champion alone backstage. After a few seconds Lila Sleater appears, Bishop oblivious to her presence.
Lila Sleater: You're being taken for a ride.
Bishop turns to the WFWF General Manager, clearly unamused.
Joe Bishop: How do you work that one out?
The Brit asks, through gritted teeth.
Lila Sleater: Surely you can see that Trace is manipulating you. Trace cares about one man and one man only, Trace Demon. There's no way you can come out of this well.
Joe Bishop: I really don't give a s*** what you think.
Lila Sleater: I didn't expect you to, just don't say you weren't warned.
Joe Bishop: Why are you here?
Bishop's patience was clearly waning, as the WFWF General Manager finally got to her point.
Lila Sleater: What you, Trace Demon and Jason Anders did to Dave Demento at Twisted was barbaric. I could fire you on the spot if I wanted to. If you didn't have that belt I probably would.
Joe Bishop: Well you shouldn't have put him in our way.
Lila Sleater: I'm sure you're aware that somehow, Demento somehow managed to recover from that attack in time to wrestle tonight...
Joe Bishop: More fool him.
The WFWF General Manager is clearly losing her temper.
Lila Sleater: And needless to say, he wants revenge. So here's what's going to happen, at Battle At The Garden, you're going to be defending your International Championship against Dave Demento.
Joe Bishop: That's ludicrous, the man's a joke.
Lila Sleater: And to make sure that Trace Demon and Jason Anders can't get involved, it's going to be a steel cage match.
That gets a fairly good reaction from the WFWF fans, and Lila Sleater is obviously happy with herself.
Lila Sleater: You're going to regret joining forces with Trace, Joe. You're really going to regret it.
The General Manager walks away a huge grin on her face as Joe Bishop is left to contemplate her announcement.
Christa Adina: Ladies and gentlemen, the following match up is set for one fall and has a 30 minute time limit. The winner of this match will also earn the right to be entered into the main event for the WFWF World Heavyweight Championship at Battle at the Garden!
The crowd pops in slight confusion at this off the cuff announcement.
Alecia Matthews: WAIT?! WHAT?!
"This Will Be the Day" hits the arena PA and the lights dim. The first guitar riff kicks in and Jayson Garrett steps out onto the WFWF stage to a somewhat negative reaction from the crowd. He bounces on the balls of his feet and rolls his head, cracking his neck.
Christa Adina: Introducing first, from Sacramento, California, weighing 230lbs, he is 'The Golden Boy' Jaysoooon…….Garrett!
At the mention of his name Garrett flings the hood of his red zip-up hoodie back and holds his arms out wide smiling at the crowd, regardless of their reaction.
Samael Ahriman: Well things just got very interesting here. Based on Christa's announcement it seems these two men are now fighting for a lot more than just pride.
Cameron Stone: I'll say! I wonder if either of these guys knew about this any earlier than we did? The pressure is really on now!
Samael Ahriman: Garrett is looking focused and he has to be. This could be the biggest night of his life. The crowd sure don't seem to like him though.
Cameron Stone: The guy assaulted Drakz after an incredible match with an incredible opponent. They have every right to be p*ssed off.
Alecia Matthews: It doesn't seem like Garrett cares though. He looks pretty confident tonight and I guess that attack showed he's willing to go to any lengths to prove he's not just a flash in the pan. Perhaps that's what moved Sleater to add the stipulation?
Jayson continues to psyche himself up while walking down the ramp and stops right before the ring, waiting for the chorus to sound. When it does Garrett runs and slides into the ring leaping to the far corner's second turnbuckle. He throws his jacket off in front of the announcer's table and looks around at the thousands in attendance. He does the same again on the next turnbuckle closest to the announcer's table and at the top of his lungs screams "I am golden!" before stepping back down and into his corner.
'Well I stand here because I can feel the pain'
The brash acappella vocals of Casey Chaos rip through the arena PA for one line before the frantic drums and over-driven guitar hits, signalling the arrival of Drakz and the crowd goes nuts.
Cameron Stone: This man might be the most popular superstar on the roster right now and while he doesn't fit the exact mould of a good guy his charisma leaves little question as to why they love him.
Alecia Matthews: You've got to believe Drakz already came here with a game plan in mind. Beat the spit out of Jayson Garrett's disrespectful mouth. I imagine with the added opportunity of a title shot he's going to be more determined than ever to pick up a win.
Drakz sets foot onto the stage and looks from side to side across the arena nodding at the roar of approval coming his way.
Christa Adina: And his opponent from Leeds, England by way of Chicago, Illinois, weighing 226lbs, THE Delusion of Grandeur, The Streak Destroyer Destroyer Destroyer, Draaaaaakz!
He runs both his hands through his wet hair and down his face, opening them up and flicking them down to either side, the water spraying off of them. Perfectly timed are the pyrotechnics that burst in a single shower of silver to accompany the action. With a half cocked smile and a focused mind Drakz makes his way down the ramp, slapping the odd hand but never breaking his gaze from dead ahead, right into the eyes of Jayson Garrett.
He takes his time ascending the ring steps and climbs the turnbuckle from the apron. His arms spread wide, presenting himself to the crowd's cheers and then looks down, once again locking in on Jayson.
Alecia Matthews: There's a definite intensity between these two. Just look at both of their faces.
Samael Ahriman: As if things weren't heated enough between these men, now a shot at the WFWF World Heavyweight Championship has been thrown into the mix! This is going to be a blockbuster folks!
The two men stare at each other for a short time before Drakz jumps down into the ring and, running the ropes, warms up in preparation for the match.
*Ding Ding*
Cameron Stone: And here, we, go!
Garrett is the first to attack, wasting no time at all after the bell. He begins throwing right and left shots at the head of Drakz and it takes a moment before Drakz is able to begin throwing back.
Alecia Matthews: Perhaps this is a sign of the age difference between these two. Garrett seems to have the speed advantage that comes with youth.
The two begin to trade and it's Drakz who ducks a swinging right hand and puts a headlock on Jayson Garrett. Garrett knows he doesn't want to allow the veteran to gain the upper hand with his shoot wrestling ability and pushes Drakz off and into the ropes. Drakz comes running back and Garrett hits the ground leaving Drakz running. He hits the opposite ropes and comes back at full speed only for Garrett to throw him across the ring with a belly to belly suplex.
Samael Ahriman: And it seems Garrett has drawn first blood here with that beautifully executed suplex catching Drakz unawares.
Drakz is right back up but Garrett continues to try and wear him down in the early stages of the match. He boots Drakz in the gut and then hits a series of forearms to the back of his neck, forcing him to take a knee. He continues the beating and then runs into the ropes trying to hit a big diving knee but Drakz ducks under it. Jayson is quick to readjust though and he superkicks the kneeling Drakz in the back of the head, sending him limp, face first to the ground. A quick cover.
… 1 …
… 2 …
Drakz powers out.
Alecia Matthews: Garrett is being smart here. He knows that kick stunned Drakz if only for a moment and he tried to capitalise on it with a quick victory.
Cameron Stone: Drakz showing he's not going down so easily though.
Garrett gets the double underhooks on Drakz, who has made it to all fours, and heaves him up to his feet. He then rolls Drakz into the air and down with a butterfly suplex, maintaining his grip. He pulls him up and goes for another but Drakz slips free and rolls through and across the ring, ending up crouched in the far corner. Jayson is shocked to find Drakz not in his grasp and in this moment of confusion is vulnerable. Drakz runs across the ring and hits a shining wizard on Garrett as he was half up to his feet and the momentum of Drakz sends him under the second rope and onto his ass on the apron. He pulls himself up to his feet using the ropes and then springboards onto the top rope and down with a double stomp onto Jayson Garrett's chest.
Alecia Matthews: That's the same move he finished Cam with last week!
Cameron Stone: I was practically unconscious by that point so you can't fault a guy for not kicking out.
… 1 …
… 2 …
Jayson rolls a shoulder and stays in this but Drakz doesn't waste time as he drags him back up to his feet by the hair. He hooks his arm and goes for a standing vertical suplex but while he has him in the air Garrett hits a knee down onto the top of Drakz's skull. Drakz wobbles and Jayson slips behind him and, being so close to the corner, onto the top turnbuckle. Drakz spins around and is met with a diving clothesline for his troubles and both men are down. The official begins the standing 10 count:
… 1 …
… 2 …
… 3 …
… 4 …
… 5 …
… 6 …
Samael Ahriman: Garrett's up to his feet first. Again that could be the benefit of being the younger guy.
Garrett starts to lay the boots into the ribs of Drakz and once Drakz has rolled to the edge of the ring he holds the middle rope and, using his feet, pushes Drakz out under the bottom one, tumbling to the hard floor.
Cameron Stone: Just dumps him out of the ring. That wasn't a soft landing either.
Garrett takes a quick look around at the crowd and despite their feelings towards the man they begin to cheer in the knowledge he's about to step things up a notch. He hits the ropes and comes back towards Drakz but Drakz isn't up yet so he runs the ropes back and forth gaining a huge amount of speed before diving with a tope suicida between the ropes right into a dazed Drakz. Drakz is pushed back with such a force that he rolls over the guard wall and into the front row.
Samael Ahriman: Garrett is back to his feet and is on a high after hitting that risky dive.
Alecia Matthews: Drakz is struggling with Garrett far more than I think anyone expected, myself included.
Garrett climbs the guard wall and watches as Drakz staggers to his feet, aided by a steel chair. As Drakz tries to heave himself fully upright Garrett leaps and plants a knee to the back of Drakz's head, driving his face into the seat of the set up chair.
Cameron Stone: What timing! That was perfect from Jayson.
Samael Ahriman: He needs to get Drakz back into the ring, and fast!
Garrett flops the limp body of Drakz back out of the crowd and onto the mats that surround the ring and then follows himself, trying to pull Drakz back to make a cover.
Alecia Matthews: It looks like he might have timed that a little too well, he's really struggling with the dead weight of Drakz.
Every time Jayson gets Drakz to a point where he can roll him under the bottom rope Drakz just falls back down and Garrett is getting noticeably frustrated by this. Garrett eventually gives up and begins stomping away on Drakz before taking a few steps back and running a soccer kick to his kidneys. This sharp shot seemingly puts some life back into Drakz who shouts out, his eyes wide, and Garrett quickly pulls him up and rolls him into the ring.
Cameron Stone: Is it just me or is Jayson Garrett showing wiles and cunning beyond his years here tonight? I mean that kick was just the smelling salts he needed to wake Drakz up and lighten the load.
Samael Ahriman: You're not wrong Cam, Garrett has played a perfect hand so far.
Jayson, knowing the impact of that chair collision is long behind him, pulls Drakz into the centre of the ring, hooks his arm and just like that he has the two time Hall of Famer trapped in the Sacramento Special!
Alecia Matthews: This is it! We could have a winner right here!
Cameron Stone: Drakz has no where to go.
Drakz refuses to tap and attempts to drag himself toward the ropes but Garrett fights it and they barely move from the very centre. Drakz is yelling out in pain and the official keeps checking on his condition, asking him if he wants to submit but he doesn't. Suddenly, sensing a lull in the pressure being applied, Drakz is able to roll both he and Garrett backwards and now Garrett's shoulders are against the mat.
… 1 …
… 2 …
Garrett is forced to break the hold to save himself from a loss via pin fall.
Drakz is nursing his neck and Garrett is pretty annoyed at his submission attempt being thwarted. Jayson pulls Drakz up and throws some more clubbing blows onto Drakz's neck and back and then takes another running punt at Drakz's head only again to be dodged by Drakz who turns away. Jayson is still as sharp as he was at the start of the match though and immediately transitions, with his back to Drakz, into a pele kick. However this time Drakz takes a step backward and Jayson lands flat on his front on the ring mat. Garrett starts to scramble up to his feet and Drakz warps his arms around his waist and rolls all the way backward and over hitting a german suplex.
Cameron Stone: That Churchill Suplex almost looked as good as mine.
Alecia Matthews: You mean his?
Samael Ahriman: You did steal it off of him Cam.
Cameron Stone: It was one time.
Drakz can't hold for the bridge and instead takes the time to recover. A second standing ten count begins:
… 1 …
… 2 …
… 3 …
… 4 …
… 5 …
… 6 …
… 7 …
Drakz is up using the ropes and he takes a deep breath and wills himself on.
Christa Adina: 10 minutes remain in this match up.
Alecia Matthews: So much has already happened and we're only just half way through the match.
Samael Ahriman: I think it's time Drakz took control. Garrett was starting to pull away moments ago.
Drakz irish whips Jayson across the ring and Jayson reverses sending Drakz into the ropes. He bounces back and dives nailing Garrett with a huge lunging European uppercut. Garrett's head is rocked back and he falls back into the corner. Drakz gets on him and sits him up on the top turnbuckle.
Alecia Matthews: What's he got in store here folks?
Cameron Stone: It looks like he's going to attempt to claw his way back into this thing with one big move.
Drakz puts his back to Garrett and puts Jayson's legs over his shoulders. From here, using the ropes to help him, he hauls himself up onto the second rope with Jayson Garrett on his shoulders!
Alecia Matthews: This doesn't end well.
Drakz steadies himself for a moment, as Garrett is still reeling from the huge uppercut swaying from side to side, and then he jumps smashing Garrett into the mat, face down.
Samael Ahriman: Avalanche Electric Chair Drop! That was amazing! Drakz sits up, and with Garrett still in a wheel barrow hold, rolls to the right turning Garrett onto his back, his shoulders to the mat.

Garrett barely kicks out before the 3 count and the crowd can't believe it.
Cameron Stone: The sound of the crowd in here is fantastic. This match is getting a huge response here in Baltimore.
Drakz is clearly shocked that Garrett kicked out and it seems to be dawning on him that perhaps he underestimated Garrett's heart.
Drakz lifts Garrett up and entwines his limbs in Jayson's before tossing both he and his opponent backwards with a Russian leg sweep that bounces Garrett's head off of the mat hard.
Alecia Matthews: I don't think I've ever seen a leg sweep look so brutal. Garrett's got to be seeing stars after that.
Drakz pulls Garrett up again and, talking to the crowd, slams Garrett backwards again with a second.
Samael Ahriman: And another! Drakz is taking it back to basics but good god he's doing it with a ferocity.
Drakz has his man up a third time and with both men standing with the ropes right in front of them he throws back hitting another Russian leg sweep only this time he rolls all the way through and puts Garrett into a cross face submission.
Cameron Stone: Checkpoint Charlie! Like you said Sam, it's basic stuff but when it's executed like that there's not a lot you can do about it.
Once more a submission is applied in the very centre of the ring only this time it's looking hopeless for Jayson Garrett instead. The hold is maintained for far longer than anyone thought Garrett would last and all the while he's dragging himself with his arms toward the ropes, but it's a marathon when you have a men your own weight on your back pulling at your neck. For a second it looks as though Garrett might have given his all but with one more push he gets a hand to the bottom ropes and the referee forces the break.

… 4 …
Drakz breaks on four, taking full advantage of the five count and Garret continues to cling to the rope as he tries to recover all of that energy used dragging close to 500lbs across the ring.
Christa Adina: 5 minutes remain in this match up.
Drakz, on hearing this, kicks Jayson hard in the back and it arches, but Garrett only seems willed on by this as he pulls himself upright, turning to come face to face with the man who has repeatedly told him this match would be a hard lesson in humility.
Jayson pushes Drakz backward and Drakz responds with a shove of his own. The two men then begin to rain punches on each other until Jayson kicks Drakz's left knee out from underneath him. Garrett then backs up and hits a superkick on Drakz that glazes his eyes but before he even hits the ground Garrett has him and hits a release dragon suplex. Drakz rolls backward and is somehow back on his feet and racing toward Garrett. He dives and hits another jarring European uppercut on Jayson's chin staggering him backward. Drakz whips Jayson into the corner and goes for another diving uppercut but Garrett rolls to the side and Drakz only gets the turnbuckle pad into his chest. Garrett again tosses Drakz backwards with a release dragon suplex and once again Drakz is thrown with such force that he rolls back up onto his feet only this time he collides with the opposite corner and slumps. A split second passes and Garrett's boot is up in Drakz's face as he nails him with the Golden Boot.
Samael Ahriman: Oh my God! That's it! Garrett's got it!
Drakz is felled like a tree but on instinct alone rolls to his left and out of the ring. Garrett screams a list of obscenities and kicks the turnbuckle padding a number of times whilst holding the ropes.
Alecia Matthews: Clearly Garrett knows it as well as we do that had he got the pin on Drakz right there it would have been curtains.
Cameron Stone: Drakz is the veteran though and a highly decorated one at that. You don't go through all those matches without learning how to survive at this level. He just saved his own skin with that simple trick.
Christa Adina: 1 minutes remains in this match up.
Alecia Matthews: 1 minute! That was Garrett's chance. He needs to get Drakz in the ring now and finish him before the time runs out on both of these men.
Drakz is holding the ring apron, swaying around like a drunkard and Garrett reaches down through the ropes grabbing a handful of hair. Drakz follows the grip up onto the apron but throws a shoulder into Garrett's gut, releasing his grip and doubling him over. Drakz now sling shots him self over the ropes and double stomps onto Garrett's back. Garrett staggers forward and into the corner again and Drakz runs to the opposite corner, pops up with one foot onto the middle turnbuckle and then turns to run back toward Garrett but Garrett out of nowhere is back in front of him as is his Golden Boot. Drakz manages to push the foot past his face and Garrett is hung up on the top rope, hanging from his leg. Drakz jumps backward onto the second rope and springboards up laying a leg drop across Garrett's throat that pulls his leg free. Drakz covers.

Alecia Matthews: Garrett kicked out!
A countdown begins on the screen above the stage and the crowd chants along with it.

The bell rings and the time is up, much to the crowd's dismay.
Christa Adina: Ladies & gentleman the time limit has elapsed and this match is a draw!
A chorus of boos swells through the arena.
Cameron Stone: Those boos aren't directed at either of these men, or that match.
Samael Ahriman: These people just want a clear cut winner.
The boos continue until a voice breaks the hum.
Lila Sleater takes the stage, mic in hand.
Lila Sleater: I thought the time limit on this match might instil a sense of urgency in you two but it seems neither man was willing to budge.
The crowd cheers.
Lila Sleater: Now in theory I should simply allow a draw and let the title match continue as originally planned…..
Boos again. Drakz is at the ropes closest to the ramp looking at Sleater.
Lila Sleater: What? That would be fair on Trace Demon wouldn't it? He has the right to a rematch for the WFWF World Heavyweight Championship, one on one.
The boos get louder. F*ck Trace Demon.
Lila Sleater: But let's be honest, Trace Demon's not in the game of being fair.
Jayson Garrett is now leaning in the corner, his wits coming back to him.
Lila Sleater: Was it fair to ram a wooden spike into the face of Dave Demento last week? I don't think so. With that in mind, we need a winner here. 5 more minutes. Ring the bell.
Needless to say the crowd erupts.
*Ding Ding*
Samael Ahriman: The crowd is getting what it paid to see. A winner. Which generation does it better?
Garrett, with Drakz's back turned, pounces and rolls up Drakz.
Alecia Matthews: Garrett's not wasting this second chance.
… 1 …
… 2 …
Drakz kicks out and rolls through to his feet, hitting a jumping knee in the face of a crouched Garrett. The knee lands with such force it brings Jayson up to his feet and spins him. He turns 180 degrees and starts to fall backward but Drakz wraps his arm around his neck and catches him, Garrett's eyes toward the lights. Drakz drags his thumb across his own throat and signals for the end, spinning under Garrett and planting him with Rolling Cold. Not leaving anything to chance he keeps the hold, steps over Garrett's body and leans back synching in his Channel 9 reverse dragon sleeper and this time there's nothing Jayson can do.
Cameron Stone: It's over. Garrett may have shown he can run with the best of them but he can't withstand this for long.
Jayson Garrett holds out for an admirable length of time but in the end has no option but to tap out as his face starts to lose all of its colour.
Christa Adina: Here is your winner Draaaakz!
The crowd pops and Drakz releases the hold, staggering backwards on his feet, clearly drained from the pressure he was applying in the last 20 seconds of the match.
Lila Sleater: Well there you have it people. At Battle at the Garden we will see the WFWF World Heavyweight Champion Dex take on both Trace Demon and Drakz in a triple threat match!
Drakz has called for a mic and cuts Sleater off.
Drakz: Hold on a second babe, I've got something that needs settling before you go any further. Jayson…..
Garrett looks up from the corner, defeated.
Drakz: I hope you enjoyed yourself, but I have to know……………did you learn anything?
Garrett walks over and tries to snatch the mic from Drakz but Drakz moves it out of the way. Drakz then hands the mic to Garrett on his own terms.
Jayson Garrett: Only that I'm almost good enough to beat you.
Drakz smiles.
Jayson Garrett: And almost shouldn't take long to improve on.
He thrusts the mic back into Drakz's chest and goes to leave the ring.
Drakz: In that case my boy, is one week long enough for you to get your sh*t together?
Garrett pauses, half way through the ropes.
Drakz: Sleater I want to stick to the original plan of me and him facing off at the PPV.
Lila Sleater: Drakz I just offered you a title shot. You've been complaining ever since Superbrawl about not being in the title picture and now you don't want it?
Drakz: I don't recall saying that Lila? How about you throw one more body in between Trizzle and the belt? Add this golden monkey to that title match as well.
The crowd is going totally banana-balls-woohaa right now!
Lila Sleater: Consider it done.
Samael Ahriman: Oh my days!
Cameron Stone: The entire Pay Per View has just changed entirely everyone. We could very well be looking at our next WFWF Champion right now!
Alecia Matthews: Battle at the Garden is going to rock the very foundations of this company!

"THUNDER!
NA-NA-NA-NANA!
THUNDER!"
The opening loop of AC/DC's hit song Thunderstruck resonates throughout the buzzing arena! With each well-known lyric booming in the background, the fans decide to sing along. The atmosphere within the sold out crowd becomes wider and wider as everybody is now swaying their bodies with the beat of the song. As the song kicks into full blast, Dave Demento rushes out from behind the curtain to a monster ovation of cheers from those in attendance!
Christa Adina: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is your co main event feature of the evening! First coming down the aisle, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, weighing in at two hundred and seventy pounds.... DAAAAAAAAAVVVVEEEE DEEEEMMEEEEEENNNNTTOOOO!
He runs to each side of the entrance ramp, clenching his fists and pounding them both onto the stage, and pyrotechnics explode from stage. With the huge cloud of smoke now brought onto the stage, Demento runs through it. Almost as if he is sucking it in for adrenaline, Demento stops in the middle of the cloud. He pauses for a moment before emerging from the large cloud of gray and he exhales smoke into the air. Channeling his inner dragon!
Alecia Matthews: I heard that smoke isn't really healthy to inhale, guys.
Samael Ahriman: He ain't inhaling 'Leece, he's spitting it out.
Demento now walks to the ring as he slaps hands with multiple members of the crowd, all while they continue to song his song to the ring. As he reaches the ring, Demento hops up onto the ring apron, but he waits a few seconds and walks over to the turnbuckle. He ascends it with ease, and facing the crowd, he raises both of his fists into the air to another loud ovation. He brings down his arms and jumps into the ring, ready for the action.
The opening riffs of the song hit and the hue dims to where the entrance way is barely visible. A few seconds play as the entrance way becomes filled by someone in the dimness before the lyrics start to play.
Can you remember?
Remember my name
As I flow through your life
A thousand oceans I have flown
And cold, cold spirits of ice
Lights flash red as the visage of the man stands in the entrance way, back facing the ring. His head hangs low as he turns and kneels on one knee facing the ring. . He sits there for a moment, collecting his thoughts.
All my life
I am the echo of your past
He pushes up to a standing position as the hue returns to normal and golden pyros rain down as Josh Dean is the man on the stage. The crowd gives him a respectful applause as Josh raises his head, adopting his trademark spread arm pose as he begins to walk down the ramp.
Christa Adina: And his opponent, from Atlanta, Georgia, weighing in tonight at two hundred and twenty five pounds... "The Franchise".... JOOOOOSSSSHHHH DEEEEEAAAAANN!
I am returning, the echo of a point in time
Distant faces shine
A thousand warriors I have known
Josh drops his arms to his side as he continues his descent down the ramp. A few fans along the ringside get to slap hands with Josh as he walks up the stairs, looking out into the crowd as he walks to the middle of the apron.
And laughing as the spirits appear
All your life
Shadows of another day
Josh looks toward the inside of the ring and steps one leg into the ring, with the second following slowly as he enters the ring. Staring a hole through the opponent, Josh walks toward the corner nearest to the announce table and climbs the turnbuckle.
And if you hear me talking on the wind
You’ve got to understand
We must remain
Perfect Strangers
Josh spreads his arms in his trademark pose while letting out a primal scream. He puts his arms down and climbs down from the turnbuckle and adopts his spread arm pose as he walks from one side of the ring to the other, gauging the crowd’s reaction before taking off his hoodie and toboggan. He stares his opponent down as the match prepares to start.
Ding! Ding! Ding!
Cameron Stone: And this one is underway.
Samael Ahriman: A match some might say will showcase the future of this wonderful sport of professional wrestling.
Dave Demento and Josh Dean both receive dueling chants during the opening moments of the bell, with both men acknowledging them. They shake their heads to the dueling beat as they circle each other in the middle of the ring, bouncing around trying to find a opening. Demento stops in his middle of his tracks as he extends his hand towards his friend. Josh looks around to the crowd, whom are all cheers, and decides to shake the hand. A true sign of respect. As Dean is about to pull away, Demento pulls him right back in and grins to his ally, informing him that he wants a real showcase.
Dave Demento: Let's make this special for them.
Josh Dean: Let’s get it!
Demento releases the shake as he and Dean both circle around once more. Dean shoots for the takedown, but Demento reverses and instantly grabs the arm of "The Franchise" and locks in an arm wrench. Dave continues to put some torque on the arm of his buddy, just wrenching at it, until Josh ducks underneath and sweeps the legs of the big guy. Forcing him to the ground as Josh mounts his back and unleashes some punches to the head. Dave reaches his knees and flips Dean off, who lands in a seated position, and the big Dave locks in a headlock.
Alecia Matthews: You know what you get when two athletes are so evenly matched?
Samael Ahriman: What?
Alecia Matthews: This match.
Dean uses his ability to find an opening on the headlock as he grabs Demento's arm and slides underneath and rolling behind the big guy, to lock in a chickenwing. Putting pressure on Dave's arm, Dean uses his other hand to slap his opponent's head. Dave now angered a bit, lifts himself to his feet, bringing Josh with him in the air and plants him with a backpack stunner! Dean lays down on the mat clenching his jaw from the impact as Dave rolls over onto "The Franchise" for a pinfall attempt.
...1...
And Dean kicks out! Demento stands back up with a smile on his face as he backs away from Josh, who is now in the corner and ascending to his feet. Both men shake their head in a sign of respect, before meeting up back into the middle of the ring to engage in a collar and elbow tie up. Demento pushes Dean off into the ropes, who comes right back in a blaze of fire to hit a huge clothesline! Sending Dave back into the ropes of his own as he rebounds and hits a clothesline that sends Josh back. Dean bounces off the ropes once more and connects with a boot to Dave's face. It doesn't faze him though as both men stand in the middle of the ring staring down each other, smiling.
Cameron Stone: Stalemate.
Dave and Dean both look around the electric arena before looking back at each other. Dean takes advantage and slaps the holy hell out of his opponent's chest. Dave grins and delivers an open handed slap of his own. Dean's turn now and now Dave's! It's Dean! It's Dave! Both men with beat red chests from the multiple slaps as they continue to unleash vicious chops. Dave gets the worst of it as Dean starts unloading the shots heard around the world as Demento intelligently backs away between the middle and top rope, forcing a break in the action. The fans still completely unglued from their seats!
Samael Ahriman: They are slapping harder than Ace Bennett, though that's not hard to beat.
Dean unleashes from the chops as Demento gets out from the ropes as the two men come face to face once again in the middle of the ring. They engage in words, until Demento kicks Dean in the gut with authority, keeling "The Franchise" over. Dave puts Josh's head between his legs, wraps his arms around the body of Joshua, hoists him up and proceeds to place him onto his shoulders with one fluid motion! Dean, using his experience, hops out of this position and lands in his feet behind the big guy. Who just so happens to turn around and is met with a huge Pele Kick! Bringing him down to his knees, Josh runs back and launches himself off the ropes and hits Dave with a Shining Wizard! He shoots the half, going for a pinfall!
...1...
...2...
Kickout from Demento, as he pushes Josh's body off of his own. Dean rolls over onto his feet and plants his boots to Dave's abdomen, until the big guy grabs the foot on one of the kicks and wraps his arm around it while making his way to his feet. Josh hobbles on one foot, pleading for Dave to let go of the leg. Dave looks out to the crowd, seemingly asking what they want before he turns his head right into an enziguri! Dave stumbles back onto the ropes and rebounds as Josh hooks him with a snap powerslam, hooking the leg for another pinfall attempt.
...1...
Dave powers out from another pinfall attempt.
Josh is right back on the attack with a hard forearm shiver to the side of the head and Dave follows up with a forearm shiver of his own. Josh’s head snaps back he fakes a punch, getting Dave to react before digging a low roundhouse kick just above the knee that buckles Dave. Josh moves in and grabs the muay thai plum, controlling Dave’s head as he drives him back into the corner with a series of knees to the ribs, mixing them in with the occasional shot to the head. Dave pushes Josh off and Josh backpedals as Dave charges in. As they get close to the ropes, Josh low bridges and sends Dave over the top rope. Dave holds on and keeps himself on the apron, but Josh rocks him with a European Uppercut. Josh slingshots over the top rope and grabs Dave, pulling down with a hard sunset flip powerbomb! WHAT A THUD AND DAVE LOOKS HURT!
Crowd: HOLY SH*T! HOLY SH*T!
Alecia Matthews: Fans at home if you could only hear the sound of that thud!
Samael Ahriman: This doesn’t look good. Dave has that faraway look in his eyes.
Josh looks over at Dave and for a moment he has a look of concern for his friend. He checks on Dave to see if he’s alright. Out of instinct, Dave fights back with a huge right hand from his back that sends Josh backwards. Dave gets to his feet, but he is still on wobbly legs and Josh easily takes control with hard kick to the gut. He rolls Dave into the ring and climbs up on the apron. Josh springboards to the top rope and jumps off, leveling Dave with a huge flying clothesline! Dave goes down holding his head and Josh waits for him to sit up before hitting the ropes and blasting him with a big low angle Yakuza Kick to the chest. Josh uses the momentum to hit the ropes and soars into the air, coming down on top of Dave with a hard knee drop! Josh has a lateral pin,

2…..
Kickout by Dave.
It has to be on instinct, because Dave still looks out on his feet, but he continues to fight on as Josh surgically locks in a reverse chinlock. Dave is struggling to his feet, but is still finding a way to fight. He spins to the inside and grabs a hold of Josh and sends him overhead with a huge belly to belly suplex! Josh arches his back in pain and Dave buys himself some valuable time. The ref begins his ten count.

4………
Alecia Matthews: It would be a shame if this match ended in a double countout, but it wouldn’t surprise me with the level of physically these two have went at it with.
Cameron Stone: If Demento is really hurt, then it could be the best thing that happened to him.
The ref is up to seven before Josh gets to his feet with Dave pulling himself to his feet, barely beating the count. The crowd is going batsh*t insane as Josh stalks Dave and looks for a right hand to the jaw, only for Big Dave to block it and return fire with a right hand of his own. It staggers Josh and Dave follows up with a hard lariat that turns Josh inside out! He’s hurt, but he lets out a huge roar and the crowd responds in kind, which fires the powerhouse up! Josh gets to his feet and Dave locks him up, half nelson style, before lifting him up and driving him down across the knee with a big half nelson backbreaker! Josh holds his back in pain and Dave looks for the cover,
1…
2….
Josh kicks out!
Dave goes back to the attack, catching Josh as he pushes himself to his feet with a big knee lift that raises Josh up, allowing Dave to hit the ropes with some momentum to drop Josh with a hard back elbow. Josh pops right back up and Dave ducks under the a clothesline attempt as Josh hits the ropes. Josh comes off the ropes and Dave pops him up in the air, then catches him with a big powerbomb. The rush of energy sends Dave to his knees to where he can’t follow up immediately and Josh uses his experience to roll towards the ropes. Dave pushes himself to his feet and follows Josh over. Josh has regained his composure and shoulder blocks Dave in the gut. Dave doubles over and Josh runs over to the corner, he climbs the turnbuckles and jumps off, looking for Crossbody, but Dave catches him with huge shot to the gut that sends him feet over head. Dave walks over to Josh and locks him up with a full nelson. He pops the hips and looks for the release Full Nelson Suplex, but Josh flips backward and lands on his feet. As Dave turns around Josh catches him with a beautiful dropkick, but Dave stays on his feet! Dave swings at Josh and Josh ducks under. Uranage! Cover!
1….
2…..
Kickout by Dave!
Josh looks kind of shocked, especially as Dave’s complexion has turned for the worse. He decides he wants to end it here and now and pulls Dave to his feet. He lifts Dave up to his shoulders, looking for the Chapter 11 (Royal Flush), but Dave elbows Josh in the side of the head and escapes out of the back. Dave has a rear waist lock, looking to throw. Josh blocks the lift attempt and looks for a victory roll, but Dave blocks it and hits a nasty wheelbarrow suplex! SH*T YEAH JOSH LANDED ON THE BACK OF HIS HEAD! Dave has the cover,
1….
2….
Kickout by Josh!!
Alecia Matthews: What a throw! What a match!
Samael Ahriman: Get used to this WFWF Galaxy, this is your future!
Dave sits up and now he’s looking to end it as he squats down in the corner and coils himself for the Viking Spear. He charges in as Josh gets to his feet and Josh leapfrogs him. Dave puts the breaks on and as he turns around, Josh is right there with the Michael Jai White (Inverted side kick to knee facebuster). Dave looks hurt as Josh throws the arm over the head. He lifts Dave, hitting the Nail in the Coffin (Falcon Arrow)! Josh walks over to the corner and vaults up to the top rope. He measures Dave and jumps off! Frog Splash!!
Alecia Matthews: Frog Splash!!
Samael Ahriman: But not before he dropped him on his head!
Josh has the pin cover,
1….
2…..
Dave gets the shoulder up!!
Josh Dean grabs Demento up. Front chancery and a lift, brainbuster! But in an act of preservation, as he bounces, Demento rolls into the ropes. Dean sits up, looking around. He sees Demento has made his way to the ropes. Demento is working his way to his feet using the ropes. He refuses to stay down. Demento has pulled himself to the second rope. But out of no where, Phillip Schneider appears.
Samael Ahriman: The screen flashes, the dramatic music plays, because we have an appearance of a legendary.
Cameron Stone: I'm sure certain members of the locker room will appreciate that joke if they're actually paying attention, but what is “The King of Gore” doing out here? Where'd he come from?
Samael Ahriman: Think he came from underneath the ring.. and he's got a chair in hand.
Without hesitation, Schneider swings the chair and brutally wraps it around the top of Dave Demento's head, sending him sailing back from the ring ropes with a horrible thud. Josh Dean looks on with horror as Demento collapses to the mat.
Samael Ahriman: Josh Dean has been a preacher of pure sports build, let the better man win and for the duration of this contest, we've seen exactly that, a pure wrestling match. And out of thin air, Phillip Schneider pops up and ruins all of that with a chair shot.
Josh Dean runs at the ropes, diving over the top rope and wiping Phillip Schneider out on the arena floor with a diving clothesline. Both men crash to the arena floor. Dean mounts Schneider and begins to hammer away at Schneider with mounted punches. After a few good blows, Dean takes a moment to express rage, screaming at the sky. Schneider reaches up and sticks his fingers up Dean's nose.
Alecia Matthews: Disgusting, but effective. He's got the nostrils fish hooked which controls the head. And if you control the head, the body will follow.
Dean rolls off of Schneider. Schneider goes with Dean, keeping control of the nose. Schneider abandons the nose, going back to his steel chair. Dean stumbles away from Schneider, grasping at his nose to make sure it's still there. Schneider from behind, he's about to wallop Dean in the back with the chair. The two are working their way up the ramp. Dean turns around and kicks the chair. The chair flies out of Schneider's hands, flying back down the ramp and landing at ringside. Schneider throws a blunt punch to the face of Dean. Dean grabs the back of Schneider's head. Hockey style fight, the two are working their way towards the top of the stage. Schneider grabs Dean by the waist and runs him into a support beam of the stage.
Schneider looks down at the bottom of the stage, a good ten feet down. He sees two tables with electrical cords on top sitting prone. Schneider goes after Dean. Superkick from Dean and Schneider stumbles backwards. Dean runs at Schneider. Back elbow from Schneider. Schneider grabs Dean by the head and brings him towards the edge of the stage. Dean spins around, hooking Schneider under the arm pit and flipping him with a hip toss, sending him flying off of the stage and crashing through the waiting tables on the arena floor.
Samael Ahriman: Oh good lord! That may be the Pay Per View match cancelled! A fall like that put Drakz out of action for over a year!
Cameron Stone: As strange as this sounds, it's almost a good thing those tables were down there. Had he, like Drakz, just crumpled on the concrete we could have lost our Pay Per View match. I don't think even Phillip Schneider could drag himself from a hospital bed to fight with a broken back.
Dean looks down on what he's done, satisfied with the carnage and mayhem that he's left in his wake.
Alecia Matthews: This seems like only the beginning of what these two are going to do to each other in Madison Square Garden when they face off in an I Respect You match! That place may not be big enough to contain them!
Cameron Stone: These two have been jawing at each other for a couple months now. It’s about damn time they get physical!
Samael Ahriman: Folks we ave to go to a commercial break while we sort this mess out!

The screen goes static, the noise of the crowd distorted almost painfully. Slowly the static clears and we see the black room that has become the apparent meeting place of The Final Revolution. This time Trace Demon walks into the shot alone, looking thoughtful. He turns to face the camera, his grin apparent.
Trace Demon: And again we see the twisted machinations of Lila Sleater. Our proud general manager, so pure and innocent, continues her scheme to tear apart everything I’ve built. Her latest plan? To try and stop me taking what is rightfully mine from the false champion Dex by placing Jayson Garrett and Drakz inside the ring at Battle at the Garden with me. Now do you see the truth that you’ve been hiding from? Now do you realize that your precious general manager truly seeks to stop me by any means necessary? Will you stop lying to yourselves, I am not playing the victim, I am a martyr. She thinks by ending me the rest of the WFWF will be easy, but I will not lay down upon that cross. I’ll fight until the nails are in and then I’ll damn well rip myself off!
He holds up the same copy of the holy bible we saw earlier, scrawled in crude paint with the words “The Final Revolution’s Manifesto” on the cover. He opens it up to read.
Trace Demon: Numbers matter not to the Final Revolution, because one revolutionary is stronger than any number of vapid fools.
He slams the book shut.
Trace Demon: The WFWF World Heavyweight Championship does not belong to Dex and by the end of the night… you’ll all realize that.
Static once more.
Alecia Matthews: The main-event is coming up! Joe Bishop, the International Champion, will be taking on Dex, the WFWF Champion. This will be a heated bout! Joe Bishop is going to do his all to take Dex, injure him, and give Trace Demon the advantage in their WFWF title match.
Cameron Stone: This match could go haywire very fast, with Dex’s new stable “The Sovereignty” possibly making a bigger impact here tonight!
Samael Ahriman: Joe Bishop is no slouch in the ring either, earlier tonight Dex called Bishop, “b*tch boy.” But I wouldn't be surprised if those comments lit a fire in Bishop, and tonight Joe Bishop may leave his mark as a big time player here in the WFWF. This is pressure time for both of these competitors, if Dex loses, he’s not a credible champion, and if Bishop loses, he’s disappointed Trace Demon.
Christina Adina: Introducing first, from Wimbledon, England, weighing one hundred and ninety five pounds, he is the current WFWF International Champion, JOOOOOOOOEEEEEEE BISHOOOOOOPPPPP!
The arena lights go dark as 'Lose It' blasts around the arena. After a few seconds Joe Bishop emerges in the entrance way. The three time National Champion looks completely focused on the task at hand, ignoring the mixed response he receives from the WFWF fans. Bishop climbs up the ring steps and enters the ring, a determined look in his eyes as he awaits his opponent.
Cameron Stone: The fans are completely against Bishop here, he’s getting booed out of his mind!
Samael Ahriman: He’s ready to take on Dex. Dex is the symbol of the company at this point, Joe Bishop defeating Dex would be a grand upset, Dex was handpicked to be the champion by Shawn Malakai.
Alecia Matthews: Not only that, but Bishop was chosen by Demon as well. This is more than a match between the new age of the WFWF, this is a battle of ideology.
Christina Adina: And his opponent, from Cincinnati, Ohio, weighing in at two hundred and thirty three pounds, the current WFWF World Champion, DEEEEEEEXXXXXXXX!
He is wearing his black Judo Gi, signaling his true mental alertness he throws a fist into the air. Prepping for the physical bout he's about to partake in, Dex strips of his Judo Gi, revealing his in-ring attire. He hands the title to a nearby WFWF staff member, staring at his opponent ready for the match. The fans begin to cheer for their World Champion as he points to the crowd, right before the bout is underway.
Cameron Stone: The crowd is going insane for the World Champion here! Dex who has a lot of Judo experience, may take this bout to the ground and use his technical skills to take out Bishop. Bishop is going to have to keep this bout off of the ground if he wants to have a shot.
Alecia Matthews: The Referee is getting ready to ring the bell!
Samael Ahriman: The fans are still chanting Dex’s name!
DING DING DING!
Alecia Matthews: And this match is underway! This main-event is going to be a treat, champion against champion!
The two men move back and forth attempting to find a break in the others defense, they eventually grapple up with Dex putting Bishop into a headlock. Bishop counters and swings Dex into an irish whip, Dex runs the ropes as Bishop attempts a clothesline. Dex rolls out of the clothesline, and he gets back up onto his feet. Bishop turns around, and is hit with a massive superkick from Dex! Bishop jumps up and falls to his back as the fans explode.
Samael Ahriman: What a kick by the World Champion! I've got a feeling that this bout is going to be a back and forth chess match.
Dex walks over to Bishop, but Bishop grabs the legs of the World Champion, he trips and hits the ground as Bishop gets back onto two feet. Bishop grabs Dex by the head, he pushes him into the ropes and hits another irish whip. Bishop bends over and is met with a knee to the face. Bishop stumbles but Dex capitalizes and jumps up, taking Bishop down, and delivering a fury of punches!
Cameron Stone: The Lou Thesz Press! Dex took advantage and now the tides have turned once more!
Alecia Matthews: Dex has been in the WFWF for only a year! Bishop’s angry, he wants to be the top guy through hard work, but Dex was supposedly hand picked.
Samael Ahriman: Dex has skills as well, this match is going to be very hot here tonight!
Dex continues his fury of punches but eventually The Referee pulls them apart. Bishop stumbles up, grabbing the ropes for support, Bishop eventually slides out of the ring leaving Dex in question. Bishop reaches under the apron and picks up a steel chair!
Alecia Matthews: Joe Bishop is going to batter Dex even if it costs him the match! He doesn't care at this point, he just wants to take him out!
Cameron Stone: Bishop has always been known for his dirty tactics. This here tonight is no exception. This may just end up turning into a straight brawl if Bishop gets his way.
Bishop slides into the ring with the chair, and runs towards Dex swinging the chair at his face! But somehow, Dex baseball slides past the chairshot, leaving Bishop crashing into the turnbuckle with the chair hitting his face!
Samael Ahriman: DEX WITH THE REVERSAL! NOW BISHOP HAS GOT HIMSELF A FACE FULL OF CHAIR!
Cameron Stone: Bishop tried to play dirty, Dex played clean and got the advantage.
Dex approaches the cornered Bishop and grabs his back, and pulls him up. The chair falls as Dex slams Bishop on the mat with a German suplex!
Alecia Matthews: Dex has all the momentum in the world right now, Malakai must be proud of his prospect here tonight.
Samael Ahriman: Joe Bishop is a three time National Champion, he’s going to bounce back here tonight. But let’s see how the cards lay.
Cameron Stone: The crowd is still hot for Dex!
Dex picks up the downed Bishop and the two grapple, with Dex easily getting the headlock in. Bishop somehow counters out of the headlock and grabs the back of Dex. Dex returns the favour by countering that as well, now Bishop is locked in a headlock. Dex keeps the pressure going, but he’s forced to break the lock, because of Bishop’s punches to the gut. Bishop takes advantage and dropkicks the back of Dex, making him fall face first onto the mat!
Samael Ahriman: Joe Bishop is getting the heat from the crowd after that counter. But it was brilliantly timed, and now Bishop has the advantage here.
Bishop runs towards the turnbuckles and quickly climbs to the top rope. Dex is still motionless on the mat! Joe Bishop lifts both arms up into the air, and bends his knees!
Cameron Stone: HOLY SH*T! IS BISHOP SETTING UP FOR THE DECIDO SPIRITUS THIS EARLY IN THE MATCH-UP?
Samael Ahriman: If Bishop hits it, this may be game over for the World Champion. Both men are in this match-up to prove their merits, but whoever comes out on top takes the other’s merits as well.
Alecia Matthews: And he jumps!
Bishop jumps in the air, and rotates 450 degrees. Dex somehow stands back up, and Bishop lands on his feet! Dex hooks the arms of Bishop and hits a double underhook DDT!
Cameron Stone: OH SH*T WHAT A REVERSAL BY THE WORLD CHAMPION! BISHOP HIT A 450 SPLASH BUT WAS COUNTERED!
Dex rolls Bishop over for the pin, the Referee quickly slides to the mat and begins the count.
1..
2..
NO! KICKOUT BY BISHOP!
Alecia Matthews: Joe finds it in him to kickout! Bishop hasn't been able to batter Dex yet, but he may revisit that chair!
Cameron Stone: Both of these men started from the bottom. Dex started in the WFWF wrestling on the pre-shows, Bishop started at the bottom of the card. Both of these men are hungry, they've achieved a lot of success in the WFWF, and they’re working to achieve more.
Dex gets off of Bishop, and helps him stand, only to deliver a massive chop to the chest which pushes him back into the turnbuckles. Bishop finds it in him to push Dex back and the two eventually grapple up again.
Bishop uses his knees to continuously batter the abdomen of Dex. Dex falls to the ground, gripping his stomach as Bishop carries over the chair. The Referee closely watches Bishop as he places it on the ground. Bishop picks up Dex and suplexes the Champion onto the steel chair! The dent is heard throughout the arena and the fans are crying for a disqualification. Bishop raises his arm as Dex is left hurt on the chair. The Referee inspects Dex, to see if he’s fit to continue.
Samael Ahriman: HUGE SUPLEX BY BISHOP! THIS MATCH HAS MADE A FULL TURN AS BISHOP IS LOOKING TO WIN RIGHT HERE!
Joe Bishop helps the downed Champion up but sends him back down with another brutal suplex! The sound is even louder this time as the chair seems just as battered as Dex. Dex is motionless as Bishop slowly drops down for the pin, smiling as the Referee begins his count.
Cameron Stone: This has got to be it here tonight. Big upset by Bishop!
1..
2..
3..!
The Referee rings the bell!
Cameron Stone: Dex is one step closer to “Battle at The Garden” where he’ll have to take on Drakz, Trace Demon, and Jayson Garrett. Drakz is a WFWF legend, Demon is a future hall of famer, and Jayson Garrett is an up and coming superstar here in the WFWF. Dex holds the belt, but will his fighting spirit carry over into the pay-per-view? Dex lost this bout to Bishop, and took several hits to his back. Bishop accomplished his goal here tonight!
Alecia Matthews: What a well deserved victory for Bishop! Trace Demon has to be happy with how this played out. Trace is starting to like the odds of this fatal four way!
Christina Adina: And the winner of this match by pinfall, the International Champion, Joe BISHOP!
Samael Ahriman: Bishop is getting the heat from the crowd, many are saying those suplexes should have been a disqualification!
Cameron Stone: Wait, WAIT. WHAT’S GOING ON HERE?!?!?!
Joe Bishop is immediately back on top of Dex, laying into him with vicious right hands clearly interested solely in doing more damage to the WFWF World Heavyweight Champion ahead of Battle at the Garden. The shots hit thick and fast and knock Dex for a loop before Bishop uses that grogginess to his advantage, dragging the World Champion back up onto his feet and over towards the corner. He pulls Dex into a front chancery, hooks the arm and proceeds to drive him back first into the turnbuckle with a wicked quick snap suplex. Dex ends up in a heap as Bishop rolls out of the ring and heads over to the timekeepers zone.
Alecia Fox: Clearly Joe Bishop isn’t satisfied with the huge victory, he wants to make sure Dex can’t make it to the pay per view.
Samael Ahriman: Well obviously, that’s what Trace Demon wants and Joe is just following his orders at this point.
Joe Bishop pushes the timekeeper out of his seat and then grabs the steel chair, folding it up and heading right back into the ring with it. The crowd are booing loudly at this point, knowing full well what Bishop has in mind. But then suddenly the boos turn into cheers as everyone’s eyes turn towards the stage. It’s Jayson Garrett! Jayson Garrett is charging towards the ring! He slides in underneath the bottom rope and hops up onto his feet coming to the aid of his apparently ally, and soon to be opponent, Dex. Bishop immediately swings the chair at Garrett but the Golden Boy of the WFWF ducks underneath it and keeps on running, rebounding off the ropes and nailing Bishop with a spear on the rebound. The chair goes flying and Garrett begins unloading with right hands while Dex lies stunned in the corner.
Alecia Fox: Jayson Garrett making the timely save.
Cameron Stone: That’s a mistake if you ask me, he should have hung back and let the world title match become that little bit easier.
Samael Ahriman: That title match has both Trace Demon and Drakz in as well, it’s not going to be easy. Oh and speak of the devil.
Indeed at the top of the ramp Drakz now stands having emerged from the back. He appears perfectly content to stand and watch though as Garrett continues to hit right hand after right hand. Within moments Jayson spots Drakz and climbs to his feet, shouting at the hall of famer to come down to the ring and face him. Drakz simply shrugs, antagonizing Garrett further. In his fury Jayson climbs to his feet and drags Bishop up with him, pushing him away into the ropes and grabbing the steel chair from the floor. As Bishop staggers towards him Garrett swings the chair hard against his skull, taking the International Champion clean out with enough force to send him not only to the floor but rolling beneath the bottom rope to the outside. From the ramp Drakz begins to clap sarcastically.
Samael Ahriman: Classic Drakz mind games right here, he knows he’s in Garrett’s head and now he’s just playing with him.
Cameron Stone: They say if you get a guy angry then he’s going to make mistakes, and that’s the last thing you want to do against people like Drakz, Dex and Trace Demon.
Jayson Garrett spots Drakz’s mocking gesture and it’s clear he’s seeing red and wants to make a point. He looks across to the last remaining man in the ring, Dex. His supposed friend and ally and one of the men who stands between him and his first ever WFWF World Heavyweight Championship. Now he looks at the steel chair in his hand, already dented from the impact of Bishop’s skull, and wonders whether he’s willing to do this just to make a point. The crowd begin to boo; they don’t want to see this, while Drakz watches on with interest. In the end they don’t get the chance to see what his decision is as three large men slide into the ring, surrounding Garrett on all sides. The Sovereignty are here.
Alecia Matthews: Those are the men Dex introduced back at the start of the night, the Sovereignty.
Samael Ahriman: An intimidating bunch of guys no doubt, I wouldn’t want to be Jayson right now.
Jayson Garrett, with chair in hand, immediately backs away towards the turnbuckle as The Sovereignty place themselves in the centre of the ring between him and Dex. As Dex begins to pull himself up the Sovereignty look set to pounce upon Jayson Garrett and are stopped solely by Dex’s shouts to stop. The Sovereignty abide, backing down, but not fast enough to stop Dex’s feet being taken out from under him and dragged straight out of the ring. Dex lands on his feet but as he turns he’s immediately clocked face first by the WFWF World Heavyweight Championship wielded by none other than Trace Demon! Dex drops like a rock and immediately the Sovereignty run for the ropes and go to climb out of the ring. By the time they’ve made it there however Trace Demon has hightailed it, leaping over the security barricade and making his way through the crowd with the WFWF World Heavyweight Championship in hand.
Samael Ahriman: Another cheap attack by Trace Demon and… where’s he going with the title?
Cameron Stone: He’s doing exactly what he said he was going to do, he’s taking it from the man he doesn’t think deserves it.
The scene is well and truly set. The current WFWF World Heavyweight Champion Dex lies crumpled watched by the three men who are chasing his title. Jayson Garrett, steel chair in hand, only he knows what he was going to do with it. Drakz, on the ramp, watching the entire scene with a grin on his face. And Trace Demon, the WFWF World Heavyweight Championship held high above his head as he stands amidst the fans. The message is clear. There will be a Revolution at Madison Square Garden.
But when it ends, who will hold the gold?

I'm far too drunk to have coded and posted these but somehow I've managed it. Don't hate on me if there are coding errors etc, but do let me know so I can fix them tomorrow when my head is better.
Many thanks to everyone who wrote matches and segs especially Dex who contributed a huge amount to this show.
Just in case anyone assumes I booked myself into the PPV, I'd like to clarify that in fact Shawn messaged me a week before I was offered the ownership asking if I would step into the title picture as Ace Bennett had dropped out.
Again pleas let me know if I've missed any of the segs/matches out of the results as, like I said, I was quite drunk when coding so it's more than possible that I've overlooked something.

Great show, especially liked the Sovereignty part at the end, along with Trace holding up the title. Damn, Battle at the Garden is gonna be one hell of a show.
