On a show that had Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens and Finn Balor vs. Adrian Neville among other things, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Becky Lynch and Charlotte, in my opinion, stole the show. This may have been the best match that all four women will ever have, though, because once they're on the main roster, it's all downhill from there. I ing hate the WWE for stigmatizing women's wrestling.

Really? I thought the exact opposite. She looked like a rookie out there. She's not bad, but it was far from her best performance. One thing that stood out to me was that she didn't look like she was helping the person lifting her onto the top. It's minor in the grand scheme of the match; but it was odd that she just kinda went dead weight on people for those moments, especially when she went along with everything else in the match. I noticed three instances with Charlotte. She broke up a Becky Lynch pin in what was quite possibly the worst pin breakup in history, the struggle to get onto the top rope, and when she went into the turnbuckle shoulder first she went in really really hesitantly and wasn't even close to making that look real. Minor things, yes, but it shows she's still really green.

I can forgive the top rope instance because she can cover it by saying she was hurt but the turnbuckle one was bad.. Still it was not the worst botch of the night. The Tag Title match had three that would win imo..

Charlotte is not green, and the only woman who looked like a rookie, is the one who's now holding the belt.

Charlotte is not green, and the only woman who looked like a rookie, is the one who's now holding the belt. She definitely had the worst performance in the match, Charlotte that is, but it wasn't bad by any means. You're entitled to your opinion, even if nobody agrees with it.

She's still inexperienced and I think it does show at times. I wouldn't say that she looked like a rookie, but I did feel that she was least impressive of the four women in the match.

I think she did had the least memorable performance tonight as well in that woman's match. That said I also think she's most ready for the Main roster. She's is amazing. As are Bayley And Sasha and hell even Becky is winning me over even though Corey was totly right saying "everything about Her is artificial"

Great show, mainly for Neville/Balor; just a fantastic showing from these two. The first match was essentially the same as one we'd seen prior between Itami and Breeze. Is the GTS tease a thing now? Bull Dempsey and Baron Corbin was ghastly; Dempsey is ten tonnes of sh*t in a five tonne bag; and Corbin shows his inability to be consistent from a match perspective. The tag title match had me like this: Dire, sloppy, cringeworthy with nary a salvageable spot of redemption for ANY of the competitors...wow...was so glad when it ended, I have to say... Thankfully Balor and Neville (IMO) stole the show with a stellar match that had me... The entrance alone for Balor was the stuff of being in the midst of a star; epic and plain awesome. Glad they got the time to show hints and traces of their work abroad, and they had me at every moment. My good mates @bashcrashwiley and The Kevstaaa have a soft spot for Bret Hart and Mr Perfect's chemistry together (and rightfully so); I only mention this because of parallels I see - two incredible well travelled athletes from the United Kingdom who created something special, as Hart and Hennig did more than 20 years ago... The Women's match was one of the better Women's matches I'd seen in a while; well deserved to Sasha Banks for the win and the nice ending with Charlotte. Sure, there were a few messy instances, but Bayley stepped up (her popularity is astounding) while Becky Lynch continually makes me cringe with her 'headbanging' and repeated legdrops. Charlotte was impressive but the fact she no-sold her back after allegedly 'breaking the LCD part of the apron/ring skirt' was a bit off to me... ...as for the main event, like many of you, I've followed these guys' career for well over a decade. From the indies like CZW and Dragon Gate and PWG to their amazing tenure in ROH, I was so happy they got the main event of a special like Takeover: Rival. Truth be told, this was primarily a match steeped in story that I've (we've) seen in some capacity before, and I was quite underwhelmed with it despite knowing what they were aiming for...Zayn is a natural underdog who thrives on taking a beating and correctly coming back whereas Owens is far and away more suited to being the aggressor as opposed to the one taking damage... All in all, quite enjoyable, my hat is off to all at NXT for another great effort, especially Balor and Neville. Cheers!

Loved all the matches bar Dempsey & Corbin God plz get rid of Dempsey he's just shit.
Plus the ending of the women's match was bad! Imo. Plus sasha banks is not ready for that title! She did nothing in that match to impress me sorry, but baylay should of got the win she worked that match.

i'm still feeling the effects of Sasha Banks winning. It was so damn amazing. I've been waiting for her to get the title for a few months now. I wanted it badly at R Evolution and I'm stoked that it happened last night. Incredible show.

Watching the Fatal Four Way again before class starts. Still can't get over how damn good this match was. I never want any of them to be called up and ruined.

Was anyone else pleasantly surprised by Becky Lynch? I've known from her SHIMMER work that she damn good, but she got a chance to show off on the big stage and I feel that she delivered.

I think you guys are being overly critical of Charlotte. The only thing she did last night I didn't care for in that match is she kind of sold dead fish to Bayley when Bayley was going for the frankensteiner. Maybe she was just gassed but it made Bayley look like an idiot trying to get her to the top rope, which I thought sucked since Bayley had the best showing.
It wasn't Bayley's time to win though. Sure she had the breakout performance in the match but they had been telling the Sasha Banks story, for months, leading into the match. Now serious Bayley can chase The Boss. Becky Lynch has stake in that feud as well since she was Sasha's sidekick. Charlotte is moving onto the main roster.
HHH loves Charlotte and she's already done everything there is to do in NXT. It doesn't matter if she's ready or not. 2/3 of the main roster Divas division can't work and she walks through the curtain the best physical athlete of the bunch. The Divas division needs Charlotte and NXT needs Charlotte's spot for talent like Alexa Bliss and Carmella to get more involved on a more consistent basis. She's RIc Flair's daughter and pretty talented, she's getting hot shotted to TV.

I don't know if I'd call it "pleasantly surprised" as much as I would say that I just expected her to deliver. I got into Becky after seeing her quirky entrance with The Knight Dynasty a few years back and have been a solid fan since. NXT has really blossomed my fandom for her, though.
