got from PWInsider
Speaking of the talents announced for the Saudi Arabia tour, none of them appeared on this weeks Smackdown.
After Main Event, as Big Show was selling the injury from Jack Swagger's ankle lock, Kane (dressed in mask and ring gear) attacked him and threw him into the guard rail. Then, Titus O'Neal had a match with a local talent and defeated him.
Smackdown started with a Triple H promo about being proud of The Shield and their ascension on the roster, but they crossed the boss and that is something you don't do. He states that Evolution will reform at Extreme Rules for one reason, to prove they are the dominate force in WWE. They will face off at the PPV.
Big E def. Alberto Del Rio by DQ when Del Rio wouldn't release the arm breaker. Afterwards Del Rio received a Big Ending for his troubles.
Paul Heyman comes out to intense heat from the crowd and repeats over and over how Brock beat The Streak at WrestleMania. Crowd is all over Heyman during the promo.
Paige def. Aksana with the Scorpion Cross Lock. Aksana was in control most of the match.
In a follow-up from Main Event, El Torito def. Hornswoggle in what was the worst match on the card.
Afterwards, Bad News Barrett gives us more bad news because some fans actually liked the previous match...
Alexander Rusev w/Lana def. R-Truth w/Xavier Woods by submission. Afterwards, Woods was squashed by Rusev after the match.
Sheamus interview segment.
Santino w/Emma def. Fandango w/Layla. with a roll up. Afterwards, Santino accidentally hi-fives Emma with the cobra and her arm goes limp.
In a physical main event, Batista def. Sheamus after a Batista Bomb.
As stated before, WWE will return to Nashville on September 21st for Night Of Champions.
The presale password is NASHVILLE.
After Smackdown ended, Batista came back to the ring, remembering we were promised a last man standing dark match between him and Sheamus. He hit Sheamus with the mic and the referee counted, but Sheamus recovered. After some brawling on the floor, Sheamus hit the Brogue Kick and won to send the crowd home happy. Sheamus stayed a while and signed autographs and took pictures with the kids at ringside.
The upper deck was completely tarped off, as was the most of the second deck. It was probably the lowest visual attendance I've seen in the last 2 years. Furthermore, the seat fillers that work for the Bridgestone Arena are the worst, as they constantly stepped over and on many children present.
