* The Shield kicks off SmackDown before defeating Sheamus, Daniel Bryan and Christian in the opener. * Vickie Guerrero informs Zeb Colter it will be Rey Mysterio vs. Jack Swagger vs. Mark Henry vs. Kofi Kingston to determine a #1 contender for the Intercontinental Title. * Jack Swagger defeated Rey, Henry and Kofi in a Fatal 4 Way to become the new #1 contender to Big E Langston's Intercontinental Title. * Eva Marie defeated Alicia Fox. * Goldust, Cody Rhodes and The Usos defeated The New Age Outlaws, Ryback and Curtis Axel. * Darren Young comes out to a new theme song and defeats Damien Sandow. That's ing nuts, but cue people coming in to complain about another loss for Orton. It's all apart of a storyline, one which I'm actually enjoying. Watching Orton get so paranoid over losing his spot as the "Face of the WWE" has been great, and it could lead to some actual interesting stuff from Orton on the road to WrestleMania. Plus, Cesaro just beat the ing WWE World Champion clean. |

Lol the only person that isn't gonna have beat Orton going into EC, is Christian..WWE really just hates him, everyone else gets the one up on Orton going into the match, but they have Christian lose..they should have had everyone beat Orton leading up to the match to show everyone is able to beat him and become champion so it can give people doubt that he'll win

Looks like Christian is the only one going into the EC w/out defeating Orton (Sheamus just returned and will get the win on RAW). I just don't get why Vince has hated him since day 1. He basically forced the guy to jump to TNA by not doing anything with him in 2004 and then botching his momentum in 2005. He comes back and has been booked as a jobber to the stars. Yes we know he won't win the EC and will probably be the first eliminated but Vince can atleast give us something alittle unexpected by having him beat Orton on SD.
