JANUARY 27, 2014 A video package opened tonight's show to recap the events of last night's Royal Rumble pay per view event. The highly anticipated bout between Brock Lesnar and Big Show took a turn for the worse quickly as Lesnar viciously attacked Show with a steel chair prior to the opening bell, eventually finishing him off with a massive F-5. The 'Beast Incarnate' was not yet finished with his assault, leveling Show with multiple chair shots. The WWE World Heavyweight Championship was on the line as the 'Face of the WWE' Randy Orton defended the gold against John Cena. Desperation hit both competitors as they were forced to dig into one another's arsenal to claim victory. However, it was a disruption on the part of The Wyatt Family that allowed Orton to walk away with the WWE World Heavyweight Title still intact. And finally, it was the Royal Rumble match. What started out as 30 superstars eventually came down to four. Batista, CM Punk, Roman Reigns and a returning Sheamus. Punk's hopes of winning the match from the #1 entry spot came to an end at the hands of Directors of Operations Kane, who would then Chokeslam Punk through the announce table. 'The Animal' Batista would go on to capture the victory after eliminating Roman Reigns, who set a new elimination record with 12. Batista is going to WrestleMania XXX!
Cutting to the arena here in Cleveland, Justin Roberts introduced the winner of the 2014 Royal Rumble, Batista! The audience responded in a split manner as 'The Animal' made his way down to the ring, staring heavily at the WrestleMania XXX sign as he has a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match waiting for him on the grandest stage of them all. Michael Cole, Jerry "The King" Lawler and John Bradshaw Layfield formally welcomed the WWE Universe to Monday Night RAW as the Road to WrestleMania is officially underway. Batista took a microphone as he examined the audience. While there were many WWE Universe members who were ecstatic, it seemed that more were outraged. Boos and chants of "Daniel Bryan!" emerged as Batista began to speak. He said that when he returned last week, he made it clear what his intentions were. Win the Royal Rumble, headline WrestleMania and become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. "Last night, I delivered on the first promise when I won the Royal Rumble match. So while I cross one of my goals off, I look ahead to the other two. Because I've already punched my ticket in the main event of WrestleMania, which is where I will become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion!" The audience continued to respond negatively for the most part, shouting "No!" in regards to the plans of 'The Animal.' Batista then said that while he is guaranteed to headline WrestleMania, no one else is. And that's because at Elimination Chamber, the WWE World Heavyweight Title will be on the line in an Elimination Chamber match. "So I don't know who I will be competing against on April 6th, and quite frankly, I don't care who it is. I don't care if it's Randy Orton, John Cena, Sheamus or even Brock Lesnar. The result at WrestleMania will still be the same." The chants of "Daniel Bryan" could be heard as Batista omitted his name from the list of potential champions.
'Ask and you shall receive' is the phrase that rang true as the theme music of Daniel Bryan hit to an enormous pop. Bryan made his way down to the ring, shouting "Yes!" along with the WWE Universe. Batista appeared to be annoyed by Bryan's arrival, but that did not stop Bryan from letting his voice be heard. "Batista, I want to be the first to congratulate you on winning the Royal Rumble match. I mean, look at the names that you defeated in that match. CM Punk, Sheamus, all members of The Shield. All men who are deserving of headlining WrestleMania. But I can't help but think that there was someone missing. Someone who wasn't included in the Royal Rumble match because The Authority despises him. Someone who the fans clamor for. Someone....like me," said Bryan. Batista responded to Bryan by telling him that he has nothing but respect for him and everything that he accomplished both in and outside of the WWE. But he has to object his statement. "I don't believe that you are more deserving of headlining WrestleMania than I am. You constantly talk about how The Authority has kept you away from the spotlight, but when it comes down to it, you're the one who could never beat Randy Orton. You're the one who has had ass handed to him by The Wyatt Family night in and night out for the past few months. You didn't even beat Bray Wyatt last night. Why should you go into WrestleMania with a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match instead of me?" asked 'The Animal.' Bryan told Batista that he can give one reason and that is because he has been here for the past four years giving it his all every night. "Up until last week, what have you been doing for the past four years, Batista? Certainly not proving that you deserve to be in the main event of WrestleMania," said Bryan. Batista then smirked before telling Bryan that he wants to reiterate what he said earlier. "I respect you, Daniel, and everything that you have accomplished. But don't make the mistake of pissing me off. It doesn't matter to me if you've been proving yourself while I've been gone, and it doesn't matter to me if these people chant your name endlessly. If you want to headline WrestleMania, then prove me wrong and win the Elimination Chamber match. That is, if the Authority even allow you to come anywhere that," said Batista before leaving the ring. As he headed up the entrance ramp, the WWE Universe continued to rampantly chant Bryan's name. Will The Authority listen to the fans? Will Daniel Bryan be given the opportunity to compete in the Elimination Chamber match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match?
Returning to Monday Night RAW, the commentary trio briefly discussed the opening segment that saw Batista, the winner of the 2014 Royal Rumble, challenge Daniel Bryan to prove him wrong and win the Elimination Chamber match. Speaking of the Elimination Chamber, a series of qualifying matches will be held tonight to determine the five men who will join WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton inside 'Satan's Prison' in four weeks. The first match takes place right now!
SHEAMUS DEF. ALBERTO DEL RIO IN AN ELIMINATION CHAMBER QUALIFYING MATCH The first of five Elimination Chamber qualifying matches schedule for this evening saw the renewal of one of 2012's longstanding rivalries. Sheamus, who made a surprise return last night during the Royal Rumble match, was looking to immediately insert himself into the championship picture. And he did so after delivering a Brogue Kick to Alberto Del Rio for the victory.
The audience popped for the 'Celtic Warrior' as he celebrated his victory in his first match back on RAW. A graphic for the Elimination Chamber match was shown, placing Sheamus into the mix of things along with Randy Orton and four other competitors. Those competitors will be determined throughout the rest of the night.
Backstage, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were shown in their office discussing the events of the Royal Rumble. Triple H said not too long ago that 2014 would be epic, and that's exactly what it has been thus far. Suddenly, Daniel Bryan barged into the room. After another huge ovation for him, Bryan asked The Authority if they can hear the people yet? "You constantly talk about what is 'best for business.' What's best for business is to give the fans what they want. Give me a chance to qualify for the Elimination Chamber match!" demanded Bryan. Triple H told Bryan to calm down because there is nothing to get so worked up over. "Daniel, did you think that we weren't going to give you a qualifying match? We would have to be out of our minds not to do that," said Stephanie. "We're giving you the opportunity. So now, it's up to you to give the fans what they want. Not us," said Triple H.
THE MIZ DEF. FANDANGO W/ SUMMER RAE With The Miz having his hometown audience backing him, the 'Awesome One' was looking to overcome Fandango, who intended on getting back on track after being eliminated from the Royal Rumble match last night by El Torito. Midway through the match, NXT's Emma was once again shown in the audience, holding up her '#EMMAlution' sign, which garnered a few dirty looks from Summer Rae. After Fandango failed to connect with the Flying Leg Drop, Miz capitalized and applied the Figure Four Leg Lock for the submission victory.
As The Miz stood to his feet in front of his hometown audience, the theme of Bad News Barrett hit as his signature podium could be seen rising near the stage. He slammed down his gavel repeatedly as a chorus of boos emerged. He asked for decorum before congratulating Miz on his victory. "But I'm afraid I've got some bad news! Despite you coming out of this match victorious, I must remind that you are from the pitiful city of Cleveland. For that reason alone, it is likely that you will ever be seen as a winner in any capacity ever again. Thus, you continue to represent your hometown with pride and honor by embodying what Cleveland is all about - losers! Thank you very much!" The crowd continued to boo Barrett as he slammed the gavel down numerous times. The Miz challenged Barrett to step into the ring, but he had no interest as he continued to take in the heat from the Cleveland audience that he just referred to as 'losers.'
Backstage, The Shield were shown in a dark lit area speaking to a camera. United States Champion Dean Ambrose said that despite all three of them coming up short in the Royal Rumble match, they still delivered in more ways than one. Roman Reigns stated that while only one man was able to prevent him from headlining WrestleMania, he prevented 12 others from accomplishing that, setting a new record that will never be touched. Seth Rollins then said that he entered the match at #2 and lasted almost the entire way through. "And then you have me. The United States Champion, the longest reigning champion in this company today, putting on the performance of a life time in that match!" said Ambrose as Reigns and Rollins both stared at him negatively. "Yeah, maybe. Until I tossed you over," said Reigns in response to the arrogance of Ambrose. The United States Champion and Reigns began to argue a bit before Rollins played the role of the peacemaker among The Shield. "Yes, all three of us shined in the Royal Rumble match. However, justice was not served because as of now, none of us are in the main event of WrestleMania," said Rollins. He added that tonight, they all have the chance to qualify for the Elimination Chamber match. "And when you put all three 'Hounds of Justice' in an environment like the Elimination Chamber, ain't no one safe. Believe in The Shield," said Reigns before placing the camera down.
A promo was shown for the WWE Network, launching four weeks from tonight!
Returning to RAW, the entrance music of Randy Orton hit to a negative response from the Cleveland audience. The WWE World Heavyweight Champion made his way down to the ring while a few still images from his match with John Cena at the Royal Rumble were shown. "Randy Orton may have won last night, but he owes every bit of his victory to The Wyatt Family," declared Jerry Lawler on commentary. Once in the ring, Orton said that at the Royal Rumble pay per view event, he did what no one believed he could do and that's defeat John Cena one on one without the assistance of The Authority. "Sure, there may have been some involvement from The Wyatt Family, but I don't give a damn. What matters is that I am still your WWE World Heavyweight Champion and the face of the WWE!" said Orton to more boos. 'The Viper' then added that after all that he has done for The Authority over the past number of months, he should be resting from now until WrestleMania, where he will defend his title in the main event. However, that isn't the case because when he arrived to the arena, he was informed that he has one more championship defense to endure. And to make matters worse, it's going to be an Elimination Chamber match. "Hunter, Steph, Kane, I don't know whose idea it was, but I don't believe that it is 'best for business' to have your greatest asset compete in a such a barbaric match." Orton stated that the only bright side of all of this is that while he may not know who all of his challengers are yet, he has no doubt that they will all be second rate superstars. "John Cena, Daniel Bryan, CM Punk. If any of them are to enter, then I have no worries because I have beaten all of them senselessly before. Hell, Sheamus has already solidified his spot, but he is no match for me. No one is. There isn't a single superstar in that locker room who has the potential to beat me at Elimination Chamber for my WWE World Heavyweight Championship!" said Orton with great confidence. A few seconds later, the theme music of Brock Lesnar hit! Orton's eyes widened as the 'Beast Incarnate' made his way down to the ring along with his agent, Paul Heyman. Heyman grabbed a microphone, telling Orton that he has every reason to be confident heading into Elimination Chamber. "You're Randy Orton. The WWE World Heavyweight Champion. The face of the WWE. You embody greatness, Randy. But I, Paul Heyman, am here to inform you that you have not beaten every potential challenger. And that is because for the first time ever, my client, Brock Lesnar, will step into uncharted territory." Orton could be seen swallowing nervously while the audience popped for the announcement that was about to be made. "The Authority were kind enough to inform me moments ago that Brock Lesnar has officially been placed in the Elimination Chamber match!" The crowd erupted as Lesnar smirked at Orton, who held both championship belts tightly over his shoulders. Chants of "Yes!" broke out as Lesnar took Heyman's microphone, slowly approaching Orton. "......See you in the Chamber, Randy," he said before throwing the microphone down. Lesnar and Heyman made their way up the entrance ramp, leaving Orton and the entire world stunned. For the first time ever, Brock Lesnar will compete inside the Elimination Chamber for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship!
After the commercial break, Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler and John Bradshaw Layfield discussed the huge announcement from Paul Heyman just moments ago. The Authority has named Brock Lesnar as the newest participant in the Elimination Chamber match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The 'Beast Incarnate' joins Randy Orton and Sheamus in the fray as three spots are left to be filled. And all of the upcoming qualifying matches feature the three members of the most dominating faction to hit the WWE scene in quite some time, The Shield.
UNITED STATES CHAMPION DEAN AMBROSE DEF. REY MYSTERIO IN AN ELIMINATION CHAMBER QUALIFYING MATCH The second of four Elimination Chamber qualifying matches tonight, and the first to feature a member of The Shield. While Rollins and Reigns both look to qualify tonight, Dean Ambrose was able to secure his spot by planting Rey Mysterio with a Headlock Driver.
Ambrose was handed back his United States Championship as a graphic appeared to confirm his placement in the Elimination Chamber match. The United States Champion now joins Sheamus, Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton in the match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Fortunately for Ambrose, he very well could have his Shield acquaintances competing alongside him.
Backstage, we once again saw The Authority in their office, once again being interrupted. Only this time, it was the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton who barged in. "Are you kidding me?!? Brock Lesnar?!?! You're going to throw Brock Lesnar at me in the Elimination Chamber match?!? Have you lost your mind, Hunter?!?" shouted Orton. Triple H told him to calm down and stop being paranoid. "Brock Lesnar isn't in the Elimination Chamber match because we're out to get you, Randy. He's in there because he deserves it. And besides, we still have faith in you to walk out as the winner and headline WrestleMania against Batista," said Triple H. Orton, who was still irate, told the COO that he he thought that being the face of the WWE meant that he be placed above everyone else. "Not when it comes to WrestleMania," said Triple H. Orton stormed out of the room, still with the notion that The Authority is trying to replace him as the 'face of the WWE.'
A promo was shown for WrestleMania XXX, live in 69 days from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans!
CODY RHODES, GOLDUST AND THE USOS DEF. WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS NEW AGE OUTLAWS AND THE REAL AMERICAN W/ ZEB COLTER Last night on the Royal Rumble Kickoff, The New Age Outlaws caught many people off guard by becoming the WWE Tag Team Champions for a sixth time. The commentators noted that this Friday on SmackDown, Cody Rhodes and Goldust will be invoking their rematch clause. However, both teams found themselves in eight man tag team action with two other teams who are viable contenders for the titles, The Usos and The Real Americans. Towards the end of the bout, Road Dogg and Billy Gunn took their newly won championships and left to the backstage area, leaving Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro high and dry. This allowed Rhodes to deliver Cross Rhodes to Swagger to pick up the win.
A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. In an Elimination Chamber qualifying match, John Cena will battle the man who set a new elimination record in last night's Royal Rumble match, Roman Reigns. But up next, the second inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame will be revealed!
Returning to Monday Night RAW, a video package was shown to announce the next inductee in the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2014. Joining The Ultimate Warrior will be none other than the man who made a shocking return back at Old School RAW, Jake "The Snake" Roberts! Roberts will take his rightful place in WWE Hall of Fame on the eve of WrestleMania XXX!
Cutting back to the arena, the entrance music of CM Punk hit to a massive ovation. Punk made his way down to the ring, visibly feeling the effects of Kane's Chokeslam through the announce table last night at the Royal Rumble. Punk stated that going into the Royal Rumble match, The Authority had an agenda and that was to go to any lengths to make sure that he did not win the Royal Rumble match and headline WrestleMania. "They gave me the #1 entry spot, used The Shield to their advantage and even had Kane enter himself. And when I had things in control, it was that 'Big Red Sellout' who threw me out. But that wasn't enough for The Authority. They didn't want to just humiliate me. They wanted to destroy me, which is why I took a Chokeslam through the announce table." Punk then said that if Triple H has a problem with him, then he needs to grow a set of nuts and confront him face to face. But because Hunter has barricaded himself, he's just going to have to clear the debris himself. "And it starts with you, Kane. Get your ass out here and finish what you started," said Punk as the crowd popped. The 'Best in the World' waited patiently for the Director of Operations, but was instead greeted with "Excuse me!" from Vickie Guerrero as she and Brad Maddox made their way down to the ring. Vickie told Punk that she understand his frustrations, but The Authority will not allow him to air his grievances in this manner. "Besides, Kane is not here tonight," said Vickie as the WWE Universe booed. Punk, who was clearly irritated, told Vickie and Maddox that Kane can hide all he wants, but sooner or later, he will get his hands on him. "And when I have 'Corporate Kane' in this ring, this is what will happen to him," said Punk before hoisting Maddox to his shoulders! The audience roared as Punk delivered a GTS to Maddox! He was laid out on the canvas as Vickie began to point and laugh at him. Punk then turned his attention from Maddox to Vickie, whose joy was instantly gone. Punk slowly approached her as she backed into a corner, intimidated by Punk. However, the 'Best in the World' did nothing as he exited the ring, just as ticked off as he was when he entered.
Returning to RAW, Renee Young was shown standing by with the new WWE Tag Team Champions, The New Age Outlaws. She asked the two for an explanation as to why they abandoned The Real Americans earlier tonight. Road Dogg said that it's nothing personal against The Real Americans, but they just didn't see why they should have to compete just one day after winning the WWE Tag Team Championships for the first time in fourteen years. "And besides, we have more important things to worry about, such as retaining these titles against Cody Rhodes and Goldust on SmackDown," added Billy Gunn. They cut the interview short, leaving Renee.
DANIEL BRYAN DEF. SETH ROLLINS IN AN ELIMINATION CHAMBER QUALIFYING MATCH As demanded by the fans, Daniel Bryan was presented with the opportunity to qualify for the Elimination Chamber match. Despite the valiant effort from Seth Rollins, a Running Knee spelled the end for the Shield member as Bryan captured the victory.
The WWE Universe erupted for Bryan's victory as he pumped his fists in the air, shouting "Yes!" along with the audience. An updated graphic for the Elimination Chamber match was shown as Bryan now joins WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton, Sheamus, Brock Lesnar and United States Champion Dean Ambrose. The odds don't look to be in his favor, but can Bryan do the unthinkable? Can he win the Elimination Chamber match and go on to defend the gold against Batista in the main event of WrestleMania?
NAOMI AND BRIE BELLA W/ CAMERON AND NIKKI BELLA DEF. DIVAS CHAMPION AJ LEE AND TAMINA SNUKA Prior to the start of the bout, an advertisement was shown for the second season of Total Divas that will begin in March. AJ Lee and Tamina Snuka were non too impressed as they competed against a unique pairing from the Total Divas cast. A Rear View from Naomi was all that it took for her to put away AJ Lee, scoring a pinfall victory over the Divas Champion.
Naomi stood to her feet as Cameron and The Bella Twins joined her in the ring, the Total Divas celebrating this victory. Tamina placed AJ Lee over her shoulder, carrying the Divas Champion up the entrance ramp. Naomi has pinned the Divas Champion, perhaps coming one step closer to claiming the title as her own.
Backstage, John Cena was shown walking down a corridor. He meets Roman Reigns in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match, next!
A promo was shown for Elimination Chamber, live Sunday February 23rd on pay per view.
A graphic was shown for this Friday's WWE Tag Team Championship match on SmackDown. Cody Rhodes and Goldust will invoke their rematch clause to challenge The New Age Outlaws for the titles!
ROMAN REIGNS DEF. JOHN CENA IN AN ELIMINATION CHAMBER QUALIFYING MATCH An explosive main event here on Monday Night RAW. The usual "Let's go Cena!/Cena sucks!" chants were in full effect as Cena was looking to bounce back from his loss to WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton last night. At the same time, Roman Reigns was looking to continue riding his wave of momentum after setting a brand new Royal Rumble elimination record. As Cena was preparing to deliver the Five Knuckle Shuffle, The Wyatt Family's signature screen effects appeared before the lights shut. When they were back on, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan were shown standing on the ring apron. Cena tried to go after them, but both stepped off of the apron before any contact could be made. When Cena turned around, he was met with a Spear! Reigns got the cover to pick up the victory.
A mixed reaction could be heard as Roman Reigns rolled out of the ring and over the barricade, scoring a victory that places him in the Elimination Chamber match. The stage is now set. Randy Orton will defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Daniel Bryan, Sheamus and Brock Lesnar on February 23rd.
Shifting the focus back to the ring, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan stood on the outside as the lights shut one more time. Seconds later, they came back on to reveal Bray Wyatt standing in the ring. He stared down at Cena, sadistically laughing. Wyatt lifted him off of the ground and into position for Sister Abigail. "Sleep peacefully, machine," said Wyatt before planting Cena with the maneuver. Harper and Rowan stepped into the ring, standing at Wyatt's side as he continued to stare down at Cena's motionless body.

JANUARY 29, 2014 Michael Cole: "Per usual here on WWE.com, we are joined by Chief Operating Officer, Triple H. Now this past weekend saw a massive Royal Rumble event unfold, capping off with Batista winning the Royal Rumble match itself to solidify his spot in the main event of WrestleMania XXX."
Triple H: "And what a way to kick off the Road to WrestleMania. I can't think of anyone who I would like see headline WrestleMania more than Batista."
Michael Cole: "With Batista now heading for the main event on April 6th, you have to be aware of the strong possibility that we could see 'The Animal' take on the man who you have deemed as the 'face of the WWE.' The WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Randy Orton. If that match were to take place, in which direction would your support shift?
Triple H: "You're absolutely correct, Michael. We very well could see Batista and Randy Orton battle it out for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania. That is exactly why over a decade ago, Ric Flair and I chose the two of them to be in Evolution. Because we could foresee something like this happening. We knew that the sky was the limit for Randy and Dave. As for who will receive my support, there's a simply answer for that. I just want what it is best for business, and I believe that having either of them as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion will be just that. Best for business."
Michael Cole: "However, it is also possible that Randy Orton will not be the one to defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Batista at WrestleMania due to the fact that he will defend his title inside of the Elimination Chamber. I would just like to take a moment to get your thoughts on the other competitors in that match in a few weeks. Sheamus."
Triple H: "While Batista winning the Royal Rumble certainly made the headlines coming out of Sunday, let's not forget that Sheamus also made an emphatic return to the WWE. I've been a big fan of Sheamus for years now and am glad to see how far he has come in his career. Sheamus could easily end up being the one to battle Batista at WrestleMania, and what a match that would be. 'The Celtic Warrior' versus 'The Animal' for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Michael Cole: "Shield members Roman Reigns and the United States Champion Dean Ambrose."
Triple H: "When you think of both the Elimination Chamber match and The Shield, one word comes to mind - destruction. 'The Hounds of Justice,' as they like to refer to themselves as, are tailor made for this kind of environment. Dean Ambrose is the longest reigning champion currently in the WWE today. It's not hard to imagine him heading into WrestleMania in the main event as a double champion. And then there's Roman Reigns, who may be the fastest rising star in the company today. A record setting 12 eliminations he had in the Royal Rumble match. If he dominated there, it'll be quite interesting to see just what he can do when locked inside of the Elimination Chamber."
Michael Cole: "Brock Lesnar."
Triple H: "This is history, Michael. Brock Lesnar has never before competed in an Elimination Chamber. And quite frankly, he has never needed such an environment in order to inflict pain and punishment on his opponent. I know so from personal experience. There is no telling what he will be able to do in the Elimination Chamber. Paul Heyman has stated numerous times that Brock wants to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, and there's no reason to believe that he isn't more than capable of accomplishing just that in a few weeks."
Michael Cole: "Last but not least, Daniel Bryan."
Triple H: "I was surprised by the fact that Daniel Bryan believed that The Authority would not grant him an Elimination Chamber qualifying match this past Monday on RAW. Daniel Bryan competing in the Elimination Chamber match is what's best for business. Daniel Bryan as WWE World Heavyweight Champion, though? That's an entirely different story. I mean, come on. When you look at the other competitors in this match, do you really believe that Daniel Bryan can actually win?"
Michael Cole: "We've always said that anything can happen in the WWE."
Triple H: "Fair point."
Michael Cole: Lastly, I would like to discuss CM Punk's actions from RAW this past Monday. Punk once against stated that he believes that you have personal problem with him, which is why the deck was stacked against him in the Royal Rumble. He even went as far as to physically assault Brad Maddox.
Triple H: "The Royal Rumble match features thirty competitors, yet I am the one who stood in CM Punk's way? What I will agree with is that Punk was wrongfully eliminated from the match by the Director of Operations, Kane. However, that is an issue that Punk will need to take up with Kane rather than taking shots at The Authority and myself. As far as him laying his hands on Brad Maddox goes, I'll allow Kane to hand down the punishment for that."
Michael Cole: "Will CM Punk be given what he is clamoring for? Will we see Punk compete against Kane and yourself?
Triple H: "A match between Punk and myself is out of the question. There's no way that will ever happen at this point. Kane, on the other hand, I am unsure of. That is entirely up to the 'Big Red Monster.' What I will do, however, is give Punk a taste of what he wants, which is a match against an authority figure. This Friday on SmackDown, CM Punk will go one on one with the man he laid out on RAW, Brad Maddox."
Michael Cole: "Thank you once again for your time, Hunter."
Triple H: "Thank you, Michael."

kbshlego. Good opening promo between Batista and Daniel Bryan, creating some minor friction between the two. I like Batista and all but him winning the Royal Rumble just really pissed me off. I hope you can turn a direction in which it helps Bryan out, which I expect you to do. A good opening contest between the returning Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio, with the obvious winner and entrant into the Elimination Chamber match in Sheamus going over. The Miz defeating Fandango in front of his hometown was expected, I mean, both men are pretty stale at this point but I still like The Miz more... but I'm AFRAID I'VE GOT SOME BAADDD NEWS! I love Bad News Barrett! Classic cheap heat by dissing Cleveland, he'll get in the ring with Miz one of these days I assume. The Shield had a solid backstage promo with some cracks forming between them even more, with an obvious result coming down the road. But, until then, Believe in The Shield... right? Right? Good promo between Randy Orton and The Beast Incarnate BRRRROCKKK LESNARRR! Will be very interesting to see Lesnar in the Elimination Chamber match and Randy should be pooping himself. Dean Ambrose qualifying for the Elimination Chamber match is good. I dig it. I'm expecting the other members of The Shield will make it in there now. Blah blah Randy Orton bitchfest. The Rhodes Brothers and The Usos beating The New Age Outlaws and The Real Americans in an eight man extravagenaanzaizna is fine. A solid match up featuring the four top teams at this point. Solid promo from CM Punk calling out The Authority, and GTSing Maddox should get some attention from them. I'll guess he will get his hands on Kane before he does Triple H. Daniel Bryan defeating Seth Rollins is a surprise and not a surprise at the same time. With Ambrose already in, what about Rollins? Well, of course Bryan had to be in and spots are open. Interesting to keep Rollins out of the three, but I guess he is technically the weakest link in The Shield. Hey, a Divas match. Mixing things up and putting some contendershipness into it, I suppose it. I am really just kind of bored with the Divas division. Especially with the hottest one in Kaitlyn being gone now. Lastly, a huge main event with Roman Reigns getting a big victory over John Cena, albeit with the help of The Wyatt Family. It will be a huge Elimination Chamber match at the pay-per-view. Good ending to the show with The Wyatts laying out Cena for the second night in a row, and I'm interested to see where you take their feud. Will it go to WrestleMania or just Elimination Chamber? Good show to start things off, with some personal twists already into play that I am somewhat digging.

Looking forward to the Elimination Chamber especially now that Brock Lesnar is going to be in the Chamber, this is Brock's first Chamber Match and not to mention Brock Lesnar is probably the most dangerous man in that match, probably the most dangerous man in the WWE hands down and if he is going to be in the Chamber then Randy's chances of retaining the WWE Championship do not look good especially with Lesnar in there
And then for the Elimination Chamber for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship it will be Orton, Lesnar, Bryan, the WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose Shield member, Roman Reigns Shield member and the man who broke Kane's record of eliminating the most men in a Royal Rumble Match eliminating 12 guys, and then you have Sheamus in the Chamber as well, and the winner of this match will be facing Batista at WrestleMania 30 on April 6th at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, 30th Anniversary of WrestleMania I can't wait
I see it being CM Punk vs Kane at Elimination Chamber and if Punk wins then I can see it being Punk vs HHH at WrestleMania 30
But as for Cena I see him facing Bray Wyatt either at Elimination Chamber or if not there then Cena will face Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 30
But I wonder if The Undertaker will be making his return in your diary? And if Taker returns then Taker he is going to need a WrestleMania opponent so I wonder just who will step up to face Taker to try to end "The Streak"? The 21-0 undefeated streak of The Undertaker's?

We'll see if it is every man for himself in the Chamber when it comes to Reigns and Ambrose, because the Shield has been imploding for a while now and the seeds were planted first by Punk but then in the Royal Rumble Match the seeds were planted again when Reigns eliminated both Ambrose and Rollins and then since both of these men are going to be in the Chamber, we will see if Reigns turns on Ambrose or if Ambrose turns on Reigns
But Lesnar I just hope he goes in on full beast mode and he just destroys everyone in the Chamber including Orton, seeing Lesnar as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion it would be great, Lesnar vs Batista at Mania 30 in the main event would actually be great but I just have a feeling it will be Daniel Bryan who wins the Chamber with Bryan winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship inside the Chamber and Bryan main eventing Mania against Batista since you planted the seeds of Batista/Bryan

JANUARY 31, 2014 After the signature WWE intro, cameras cut directly to the arena as Sheamus made his way down to the ring. 'The Celtic Warrior' received a huge ovation as Michael Cole and John Bradshaw Layfield welcomed everyone to Friday Night SmackDown! "He's back!" stated JBL as Sheamus grabbed a microphone, beginning by saying that if there's one thing that he missed during his time off, it's the energy of the WWE Universe. He then spoke about how for the past six months, he was forced to sit back and watch other WWE superstars do what he was born to do and that's compete. One event in particular that he was unable to witness up close was the crowning of Randy Orton as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. "I'm not saying that if I were around, I would have been the first WWE World Heavyweight Champion, but I think it would have been a hell of a lot harder for Orton to accomplish that with me standing in his way." Sheamus said that he made his return in the Royal Rumble match with the intentions of winning his second Rumble match ever and headlining WrestleMania XXX. And while that didn't exactly happen, he still has the chance to go to WrestleMania, but he must now go through the Elimination Chamber match. "Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan, Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. The five of you are what stand in between myself and the main event of WrestleMania. So when the time comes and we are all locked inside the Chamber, nothing will stop me from kicking all of your heads off and becoming the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion!" said Sheamus to a great pop from the audience. At that moment, however, he was interrupted by the arrival of Ryback and Curtis Axel. Axel, who was scheduled to compete against Sheamus, entered the ring while Ryback joined Michael Cole and JBL at the announce table.
SHEAMUS DEF. CURTIS AXEL While Curtis Axel was looking to prove that 2014 will be his year, he had the momentum-filled Sheamus standing in his way. Ryback, who was on commentary for the match, took several shots at Sheamus, saying that his injury was nothing more than an excuse to get away from the 'Big Guy.' As Axel was attempting to hit a Running Neckbreaker, Sheamus sidestepped it and delivered a surprise Brogue Kick for the victory.
As the WWE Universe applauded Sheamus for his triumphant return to SmackDown, the 'Celtic Warrior' decided that he was not finished for the evening. He turned his attention to Ryback, calling for the 'Big Guy' to enter the ring. Ryback removed his headset and stepped onto the ring apron, teasing a monstrous confrontation. However, Ryback simply laughed and shouted "Ryback rules!" before hopping off of the apron. Ryback made his way up the entrance ramp as Sheamus continued to stare at him.
A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. CM Punk takes on the General Manager of RAW, Brad Maddox. It happens later tonight on SmackDown!
DOLPH ZIGGLER DEF. BRODUS CLAY The first television match for Dolph Ziggler in a while, who returned in the Royal Rumble match this past Sunday. The audience showed their support for the 'Show Off' as he was able to put Brodus Clay away with the Zig Zag.
The audience popped for Dolph Ziggler as he stirred to his feet, celebrating a successful return to SmackDown. Ziggler's celebration was short lived as Bad News Barrett's theme hit. Barrett slammed his gavel thunderously, catching the attention of Ziggler and the hostile crowd. "Congratulations, Dolph. In your first singles match back, you put on a stellar performance and captured a victory.....but I'm afraid I've got some bad news! Despite all of that, your return can only be described as sub par. You won tonight, but were you victorious in the Royal Rumble match on Sunday? Are the one who will be headlining WrestleMania? Of course not! But that's alright, Dolph, because there's still the Elimination Chamber match. You still have the opportunity to......oh, wait a minute. You don't have that opportunity because you didn't qualify! You didn't even have a match to be able do so! For someone who talks and talks about stealing the show, the only thing that has been stolen around here is your spotlight, which I am unsure if you ever even had to begin with. Thank you very much!" Barrett slammed his gavel again as Ziggler appeared to be annoyed and angered by his comments.
Backstage, The Shield were shown in an isolated portion of the arena with their camera. United States Champion Dean Ambrose said that as of now, the Road to WrestleMania is looking more like a one way path for The Shield to serve justice on the grandest stage of them all. "When you put two 'Hounds of Justice' inside the Elimination Chamber, victory on part is nothing less than a guarantee," stated Ambrose. He then turned his attention to Seth Rollins, telling him not to dwell too much on the fact that he was the only member of the group not to qualify for the Elimination Chamber match. "Every unit has a weak link," said Ambrose, causing Rollins to shout "What did you just say?" Roman Reigns stepped in between the two of them, saying that there are no weak links in The Shield. "If that were the case, we wouldn't be the most dominant force in WWE history. Whether it's two of us or all three of us in the Elimination Chamber match, we will continue to prove that." Reigns placed the camera down as all three men could be heard walking away. Suddenly, Rollins picked the camera back up, speaking alone. "Listen to me. I am not the weak link of The Shield, and I will prove that. I don't care if Ambrose and Reigns are competing for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and I'm not. I will leave my mark at Elimination Chamber!" shouted Rollins before leaving once again.
A promo was shown for the WWE Network, launching on February 24th immediately following Monday Night RAW!
WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH CODY RHODES AND GOLDUST DEF. THE NEW AGE OUTLAWS VIA DISQUALIFICATION After The New Age Outlaws shocked the world on the Royal Rumble Kickoff by capturing their sixth WWE Tag Team Championship reign, Cody Rhodes and Goldust decided to invoke their rematch clause tonight. After Rhodes delivered Cross Rhodes to Road Dogg, the screen effects of The Wyatt Family aired before he could go for the pin attempt. When the lights were back on, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan attacked Rhodes!
The audience gasped as Rowan and Harper stomped away on Rhodes while Gunn was able to pull his partner out of the ring and head to the backstage area with their WWE Tag Team Championships. As Goldust attempted to enter the ring and intervene on his brother's behalf, Bray Wyatt pulled the 'Bizarre One' back out to ringside and tossed him into the barricade. Rowan whipped Rhode into a huge Lariat from Harper, taking him out of the equation. They then grabbed Goldust and tossed him into the ring per order from Wyatt. Wyatt then picked Goldust off of the ring, planting a kiss on his forehead before delivering Sister Abigail! "Past....present.....future....past......present.....future," said Wyatt repeatedly, leaving the commentators and WWE Universe in shock and horror.
Returning to Friday Night SmackDown, a recap of the previous events were shown as The Wyatt Family viciously attacked Cody Rhodes and Goldust just as they were on the verge of regaining the WWE Tag Team Championships from The New Age Outlaws. "They attacked John Cena twice this past week and now the Rhodes Brothers? What in the world is this trio's agenda?" asked Michael Cole. And an even bigger question is what Bray Wyatt meant as he muttered the words "past, present and future."
ALBERTO DEL RIO DEF. KOFI KINGSTON For Alberto Del Rio, a victory here was a must after being humiliated by Batista in the Royal Rumble match and Sheamus on RAW. While Kofi Kingston has seen a bit of a momentum boost as of late, it came to halt here tonight after Del Rio forced him to submit to the Cross Armbreaker.
Backstage, Josh Mathews was shown standing by the RAW General Manager, Brad Maddox. Mathews asked Maddox if he feels any nerves heading into his match tonight against CM Punk. Maddox calmly stated that he isn't nervous and has no reason to be. "If anything, I think that I hold the advantage in this match. The reason why is simply - I made CM Punk." Mathews appeared to be confused before asking Maddox what he meant by that. "Yeah, I made CM Punk. That 434 day championship reign that he speaks of would not have gone that long had it not been for me. Besides, it's not like I've ever lost a match before, Ryback, Sheamus, Randy Orton, I've defeated all of them," said Maddox before Mathews informed him that he lost all of those matches. "Um, no I didn't. I won, just like I will tonight," said Maddox before leaving the scene.
Returning to the broadcast, Michael Cole revealed an announcement just made by The Authority. After what transpired earlier on in the show, Sheamus will go one on one with Ryback this Monday on RAW. "Get ready for a war, Michael!" stated JBL ecstatically.
THE SHIELD DEF. R-TRUTH, XAVIER WOODS AND THE GREAT KHALI To further debunk the "crack in The Shield' theory, the 'Hounds of Justice' put on yet another dominating performance against the fan favorite and fun loving trio of R-Truth, Xavier Woods and The Great Khali. As Khali was preparing to deliver a chop to the top of Seth Rollins' skull, Roman Reigns caught him off guard with a huge Spear to pick up the victory.
Boos emerged from the audience as The Shield were announced as the victors. However, they were clearly not yet finished. All three men picked Khali up off of the canvas before Reigns let out his signature primal scream. Ambrose and Rollins then lifted Khali onto the shoulders of Reign, delivering a monstrous Triple Powerbomb! The Shield extended one fist each, showing the world that they are still the well oiled machine that they have been for over a year now.
Backstage, Renee Young was shown standing with Alberto Del Rio. She asked Del Rio for his thoughts on not only his victory over Kofi Kingston, but the 'Mexican Aristocrat' was none too interest in speaking on that. "Kofi Kingston is nothing more than a peasant. You know who else is a peasant? That ingrate, Batista. Batista ruined my plans for WrestleMania, so I'm going to do the same to him. Because I don't think that someone with a shattered arm will be able to headline WrestleMania," said Del Rio before leaving the interview set.
A promo was shown for Elimination Chamber, live Sunday February 23rd in pay-per-view.
CM PUNK DEF. BRAD MADDOX While CM Punk may not have been granted a match against either Kane or Triple H, he was presented with the opportunity to let out his frustrations on another authority figure. That being the RAW General Manager, Brad Maddox. While Maddox came into this bout with a solid deal of confidence, that was quickly diminished when Punk got his hands on him. The 'Best in the World' spent much of the match punishing Maddox, throwing him into the steel steps and repeatedly smashing his head against the surface of the announce table. After delivering a Go To Sleep, Punk decided to have a bit more 'fun' with Maddox, placing his arm off of the canvas during the pin attempt. Punk hoisted Maddox onto his shoulders again, hitting a second Go To Sleep. However, that was still not enough for Punk as he decided deliver a third Go To Sleep, this time keeping Maddox down for the count.
The crowd popped for CM Punk's victory as he stood to his feet, staring down at Maddox. He then grabbed a microphone before sitting cross legged next to the near lifeless body of Maddox. "Brad, it's truly a shame that The Authority decided to make you their sacrificial lamb. Because while I enjoyed beating like a dog here tonight, you're not the one that I want. This Monday on RAW, I expect to have Kane in this ring one on one. And if The Authority won't bring that 'Big Red Sellout' to me, then I will bring myself to him. Do I make myself clear, Hunter?" Punk placed the microphone down before posing in the ring, making it known that he wants Kane one on one this Monday on RAW, and he won't take no for an answer.
