Usual firework display. Woop-dee-doo.
Alecia Matthews: Ladies and gentlemen welcome to the first WFWF Revolution of 2014, I’m Alecia Matthews sitting with my broadcast partner Samael Ahriman and for one night only Cameron Stone.
Cameron Stone: No, I’m here full time now.
Samael Ahriman: Say what? My wages better not get cut because of this.
Alecia Matthews: We’ve got a massive show for you tonight because not only do we have a new WFWF World Heavyweight Champion but we’re also going to find out who is the rightful number one contender after we had four winners in the Scars & Stripes battle royal.
Cameron Stone: Doesn’t that sound absolutely ridiculous and implausible though?
Samael Ahriman: It does, it is, but clearly common sense isn’t something we have to obey when people want title shots.
Christa Adina: Please welcome to the ring the owner of the WFWF and the new WFWF World Heavyweight Champion, the King of Demons… Trace… Demon!
The sound of a bullet suddenly explodes out through the arena before a familiar theme begins to play, sending the lights in the arena shutting off one by one. As the opening chords of “Shoot the War Pigs by INHUMANZ begins to blare across the arena six crimson spotlights switch on one by one, each shining down upon a different part of the cheering arena is sequence. One by one each of the spotlights move to the tip of the ramp, combining and showing the first glimpse of the man behind the theme – the new WFWF World Heavyweight Champion Trace Demon, standing front and centre with the title around his waist and a rather dashing torn blazer on (not too casual, not too formal). As the song builds to a fever pitch and the rap kicks in he throws his hand up like a gun and pulls the trigger, mouthing “Boom” as a spectacular pyrotechnics display shoots off all around him, notably crimson and hold to signal the new champion’s arrival. As the pyrotechnics come to a stop the lights in the arena turn back on, showing a full look at Trace Demon and the title around his waist.
Alecia Matthews: At Scars & Stripes Trace Demon became the new World Heavyweight Champion by defeating Scarlett Quinn but he didn’t do it alone
Samael Ahriman: Somehow he got Penny Shannon to turn on her best friend and we still don’t know why.
Cameron Stone: Money, bitches love money.
Trace stands on the ramp and takes a look around at the crowd, completely unfazed by the massive amount of heat that he is receiving here tonight. He simply looks down at the WFWF World Heavyweight Championship and gives it a patronising rub, smirking all the while as he begins to make his way down towards the ring. He ignores the fans on either side of him as they attempt to the touch the King of Demons, instead focused solely on whatever he has to say tonight. As he reaches the bottom of the ramp he waits for a stagehand to rush him a microphone and a steel chair before climbing up the steel ring steps and entering the ring through the ropes, keeping a tight grip on the WFWF World Heavyweight Championship as he walks to the centre of the ring, sets up the chair and sits down, waiting for the crowd to die down. As they finally do he begins to speak.
Trace Demon: You’ve all got questions, some good, some bad, some ludicrous, some obvious, but questions none the less. But there’s only one question that I’m out here to answer. It’s not why Penny Shannon decided to turn her back on Scarlett Quinn. That’s her place to say, it’s her job to explain, it’s not mine, I don’t need to tell you anything about Penny Shannon that she can’t tell you all herself. It’s not whether I have any regrets over my treatment of Scarlett over the past month. The answer to that is an obvious no because it lead me to this little golden beauty that now resides around my waist and that is the only thing that matters. It’s certainly not how I feel about becoming the WFWF World Heavyweight Champion and taking my rightful place at the top of my little kingdom because the answer to that one is so obvious that it isn’t even funny. No, there is only one question I am out here to answer and that is who is going to challenge me for this title.
Alecia Matthews: Well at least we’re cutting to the chase.
Samael Ahriman: It’s weird that he’s not taking the chance to big himself up, right? I mean arrogance is kind of his thing.
Cameron Stone: Maybe his ego has gotten so big it literally managed to escape his head.
Trace Demon: According to the official records four people won the 2013 Scars & Stripes battle royal. I say according because I watched that match, after I’d woken up from the blood loss of course, and I saw only one man who deserved to be called the winner. I won’t name names because at this point it really doesn’t matter, what matters is that according to the officials there were four winners and that means we need to make a decision. Who gets to challenge the World Heavyweight Champion? Is it Shawn Malakai who somehow wrangled himself yet another last chance to fail? Is it Ace Bennett who probably doesn’t know if this is a mental delusion because it’s just so damned farfetched? Is it Crow who wishes his beard was half as cool as mine or is it Thunder, the man who has revitalised his career after falling faster than Kanye West’s respect from the rapping world? Or hell, is it Scarlett Quinn who has one of those ridiculous rematch clauses in her contract? How about it people, who do you think deserves the shot?
The crowd go crazy, different sections cheering for different people, some louder than others but all of them very audible.
Alecia Matthews: Well everyone in here seems to have an opinion on who deserves the title shot, but there’s only one man who gets to make that decision.
Samael Ahriman: And he’s the egomaniac sitting in the ring.
Cameron Stone: He gave me a job; that’s one smart business decision he’s made.
Samael Ahriman: Not everybody would agree.
As the crowd die down Trace looks down at the title around his waist before he continues.
Trace Demon: Luckily it doesn’t matter who you think deserves it, this is a decision for the boss to make and that boss… is me. So what do I do? A tournament? A battle royal? A beat the clock challenge? So many options, so little time. But here’s the thing… why beat one person when you can beat them all. Because I know that I can beat Shawn Malakai, I know I can beat Ace Bennett, I know I can beat Thunder, Crow, Scarlett Quinn and just about anybody else you want to put in the ring with me. And I’ve always said I like a challenge and right here in front of me is the greatest challenge I could possibly have. And I know what you’re all thinking – Trace Demon is a cheat, a scoundrel and a liar who will do whatever it takes to keep his title. That’s all true, but I’m also a wrestler, I’m also a fighter and I also like to prove how talented I am every single time I step in this ring. So for all of you out there who thought that I’d use this opportunity to wear down a single opponent for Superbrawl you clearly do not know the kind of man I am. Because now I have this title there is only one thing that matters to me and that is proving that I deserve to keep it every single night of the week. So at Superbrawl… we’re going to make history.
The crowd grow louder out of anticipation, they’ve got a feeling they know what’s coming and they want it to happen.
Trace Demon: At Superbrawl there isn’t going to be a challenger for the WFWF World Heavyweight Champion… there’s going to be five.
And with that they just erupt, the King of Demons nodding in his seat, smirking like he’s just figured out the cure for cancer.
Samael Ahriman: Are you kidding me? Five challengers at the biggest show of the year?
Alecia Matthews: This is unprecedented, especially when you consider that the man announcing it is the one who’ll be defending the title in the first place.
Cameron Stone: You can insult him all you want, and I most certainly will, but Trace Demon is exactly what he says he is – a fighter, and a good one at that.
Trace Demon: At Superbrawl it will be yours truly defending the WFWF World Heavyweight Championship against Thunder, Shawn Malakai, Ace Bennett, Crow and yes, even Scarlett Quinn. Six people enter the main event of the biggest WFWF show of the year and one walks out as the champion. But let me make one thing perfectly clear…
Trace suddenly rises up out of his seat, unstraps the WFWF World Championship from around his waist and raises it up high above his head. The words that follow are said with focus, determination and that signature vitriol that makes every Trace Demon promo just that little bit crazy.
Trace Demon: This right here, this sight in front of you, is one you should all get very used to, because this is the new status quo of the WFWF. I am the World Champion, I am the best damn thing in the WFWF, I am Trace freaking Demon and at Superbrawl… I back up every single one of those truths.
Trace throws the microphone away, throws the WFWF World Championship over his shoulder and makes his exit through the ropes as the crowd continue to go crazy at the massive announcement that we have just heard.
Alecia Matthews: We might only just be getting started but we’re already on the road to Superbrawl and what a road it’s going to be.
Samael Ahriman: Possibly the biggest main event in Superbrawl history, quite literally, and it was announced by a madman with the title. Yeah, what could possibly go wrong?
Cameron Stone: If I know anything about the WFWF, and I’d like to think I do, the answer to that is everything.

"My Own Prison" by Creed blares over the in house speakers as Leon Kano makes his way down to the ring. The young rookie shaking hands with the confused fans in the front row of the live WFWF Revolution crowd. The reaction wasn't that great, in fact a tree falling in the Canadian forest could probably be heard, but this didn't stop Kano from making his way to the ring with a huge smile.
Christa Adina: This free way match is scheduled for one fall! To win this contest, you must pin or submit one of the challengers in the ring. Standing in the ring, from Parts Unknown... LEON KANO!
Matthew Peterson's entrance music hits as he makes his way out of the curtain wearing a Canadian flag cape while waving the flag in his hands. His holds his arms out and spins around a few times while some small red and white pyro goes off before making his way down the aisle in a cocky manner. He hops up on the ring apron and waves the flag around some more before hopping over the ropes and hitting the second turn buckle for some more posing and waving.
Christa Adina: And his first opponent, from Calgary, Alberta, Canada... MATTHEW PETERSON!
"Wanderlust" blares over the PA system as Ryan Daniels waste no time in making his way down to the ring. Ignoring the fans trying to high five him and the others trying to boo him , he slides underneath the bottom ring rope and ascends the ring post over looking the crowd and shaking his head before smacking his elbow pad intensely signaling for his "rolling elbow".
Christa Adina: And another opponent, from Birmingham , Alabama... RYAN DANIELS!
The whispers play throughout the entire arena. It soon is followed by an amazing guitar riff, which then Ryu slowly enters onto the aisle. The lights dim as Ryu steadily walks down the aisle, raising his head in confidence. Lights strobe and flash all around the arena, electrifying the crowd. Ryu stops in the middle of the walk-way, kneeling down and praying to his fallen father, Kakashi Hayashi. Ryu stands up, his eyes watery from memories he holds dear of his father. Ryu takes off his Yukata and throws it to the crowd. Ryu's tears of his father stop. Followed by Ryu running towards the ring and sliding under the ropes. He hops back on his feet and runs up the turnbuckles, pointing to the masses of people in the audience. He hops back off, only to prepare himself by cracking his knuckles.
Christa Adina: Introducing now, from Urayasu, Japan... RYU HAYASHI!
Alecia Matthews: Some great rookies hungry for a win here tonight.
Samael Ahriman: I wouldn't be able to have chosen a favorite in this match. That is until I was talking to someone backstage. Now I feel bad for those in the ring, they shouldn't have even showed their faces tonight.
Sound of Madness hits the PA system, as Cameron Stone steps out from behind the curtain onto the stage. He raises his arms into the air, and a shower of sparks fly around him breifly, before he lowers his arms to his sides and starts strutting down the ramp, almost gloating about how good he is. As he reaches the ring, he steps up onto the apron, and steps in through the ropes. He taunts for a few moments, before backing into a corner, awaiting his opponent.
Christa Adina: And their opponent, from Calgary, Alberta, Canada... CAMERON STONE!
The bell rings as the four rookies start to pounce on each other. The four men trading rights and lefts as Cameron smiles at their efforts to beat each other up. Stone exits the ring and heads underneath the ring. He struggles to pull something out ad eventually succeeds as two large containers are brought the the commentators position. Stone places one container in front of Alecia and Samael, respectively, before heading into the ring.
Alecia Matthews: Oh. So this is poutine.
Samael Ahriman: This is so f*cking delicious. Them Canadians know how to eat.
Thanks Sam. Cameron now stands in the middle of the ring as the four men circle him. Stone simply grins at their attempt to intimidate as he simply stomps on the mat as every single one of his opponents fly up in the air. They crash down hard as Stone heads over to Leon Kano and pins him.
...1...
...2...
...3...
Christa Adina: And the winner of this match... CAMERON STONE!
Stone doesn't take much time to celebrate as he rolls out of the ring and walks on over to his announcing desk. His eyes go from chill and calm to as huge as basketballs as his jaw drops down to the floor. His fist clench up as his face turns bright red!
Cameron Stone: YOU ATE ALL MY POUTINE!
Samael Ahriman: Uh... Cameron. We didn't eat your portion. It's still right there.
Cameron Stone realizes that his portion is own his chair as he puts it onto the announcing desk. His frown turned upside down as he finally sits next to Samael Ahriman and Alecia Matthews who look as if they swam through a pool of poutine.
Cameron Stone:You're watching WFWF Revolution: Sponsored by Poutine. The all Canadian classic!
Upon that quite ludicrous, but equally delicious line the screen goes black, the soft faint lyrics to "Blow" by Atreyu playing at a pitch barely able to be heard, and the WFWF logo in blue appearing on the screen. When the lyrics reach "so blow those f*cking words out the back of your head" the logo along with the sound effect of breaking glass, gets cracked and slowly goes blue to red. The music continues as the words disappear and you see clips of a man in face paint breaking a mirror in a red tinted room, and again, and again, and again but the last time is with the mirror on fire, then the clips are replaced again with black background and red writing "Next Revolution" before slowly fading and cutting to a commercial break.

Alecia Matthews: You know guys, ever since Scars and Stripes, no one has heard from Mak Cross.
Cameron Stone: Well he was viciously attacked by Slanted and Enchanted. What do you expect?
Samael Ahriman: This isn't fake Alecia. You get beat up and you're hurt. Simple as that.
E.I.W.W.B. starts to play, as all the lights go off, leaving the arena in darkness. A blue spotlight shines on a shadowy figure wearing a hoodie. Fog also appears on the ramp. Carter looks up, flips off his hood, and begins to walk. The crowd remains silent as Carter reaches the ropes, he turns around, locking arms with the top rope, and flips over it. The lights begin to show back up in a blue tone as Carter circles around the ring slowly and everything goes back to normal.
Christa Adina: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Making his way to the ring, from The City of Angels... ANDREW CARTER!
Lights out. Red and white flashing lights go off music starts. Crypt walk to the music Tupac style. Hop in ring get on turnbuckle and do the signature to fists to the skull. Yelling it's my time to shine. Andrew Carter and Mason Dixon meeting in the middle of the ring and shake each other's hands while smiling.
Christa Adina: And his partner, from the Queen City... MASON "THE LINE" DIXON!
"If you're sick, if you're sick, if you're sick, if you're sick of it! If you're sick, if you're sick, if you're SICK OF IT!"
Cam emerges from the curtains, cloaked in a black hood and black jacket. Cam extends his hands towards the fans as he walks down the entrance way, but he doesn't seem to care much for them high-fiving. When Cam gets to the ring, he sheds his coat as the chorus his, which sets off the pyro on the stage.
Christa Adina: And their opponents, first from Chicago, Illinois... CAM NITTA!
"The Hard Sell" by Coheed and Cambria blares through the speakers as the crowd erupt in cheers. The music continues to play louder and louder as the entrance theme of Mak Cross gets the crowd buzzing. It goes on and on continuing the song as the crowd noise goes from cheers to a loud chorus of jeers as Cam Nitta stands outside the ring in disbelief. Nitta enters the ring confused as he gets stared down by Carter and Dixon.
Alecia Matthews: Cam Nitta at a clear disadvantage tonight.
Cameron Stone: Well he has no partner.
The bell rings as Nitta backs into his corner with a look of dismay. Carter reveals that he's going to start the match and comes to the middle of the ring. Carter lunges forward towards his opponent and connects with a huge punch to Nitta's face. He doesn't stop there as Carter unleashes a fury of rights and lefts.
Alecia Matthews: Andrew Carter taking a moment to taunt Mason Dixon? But they're partners.
Cameron Stone: But look he has awoken the dragon within Cam Nitta. A HUGE CLOTHESLINE!
Cam Nitta looks down at Carter after dropping him. Nitta starts kicking the downed opponent before applying a armbar. Twisting the arm and making Carter pay. Screams emerge as Mason Dixon interferes and breaks up the hold. Nitta rolling over and jumping up on his feet and running nto his corner, looking for the tag.
Samael Ahriman: I feel bad for Cam.
Cameron Stone: You should. You ate my poutine.
Carter and Dixon both recuperate in their corner. Carter officially making the tag as Dixon enters the match. Mason's eyes go dark as he stares down his opponent. Bad idea as Nitta runs full force and lays a boot between Dixon's eyes. Dropping down like a sack of potatoes, Mason is stuck in the middle of the ring as Nitta smiles towards Carter.
Alecia Matthews: I think Dixon is out.
Cameron Stone: He's going to need some poutine to wake him up.
Samael Ahriman: And Nitta going for the pinfall.
...1...
...2...
And Carter breaks up the fall! Andrew looks to unleash a power fury as he picks up Cam and flips him with a suplex. Both men crashing hard onto the mat as Carter pops back up and rolls Dixon over to their corner. Carter tags himself in and immediately heads on over to Nitta. He picks him up and delivers a big scoop slam followed by a huge legdrop. He goes for the cover.
...1...
...2...
KICKOUT!
Alecia Matthews: Nitta is still kicking. Bless is heart.
Carter looks pissed as he stands back up and heads over to Dixon. He tags his partner in as they both head over to Nitta. They pick him up and deliver a huge double suplex. The referee is swayed out of the way and the duo lock in a double boston crab onto the fallen Asian hero.
Cameron Stone: Nitta is in trouble, guys.
Alecia Matthews: Oh look! Carter just punched Dixon in the mouth!
Dixon releases his hold as he gets face to face with his partner. They share some words until both shaking their heads 'yes'. Both men pull Nitta up to his feet and throw him into the air. Nitta crashes down hard on the mat as Carter leaps down onto the 'Asian Sensation'.
...1...
...2...
KICKOUT!
Alecia Matthews: And now look at this new team. Both of them laying feet and fists into Nitta's prone body.
Samael Ahriman: Wait a minute!
Nitta executes a great kip-up as he Ninja's his opponents legs. Carter and Dixon fall to the mat as Nitta starts unleashing a wealthy amount of kicks to their sides. NOTHING CAN STOP HIM!
Cameron Stone: WATCH OUT! Dixon just sent over the top rope in front of our commentary desk!
Nitta and Carter come face to face in the middle of the squared circle as they both exchange punches. Rights and lefts all around the ring. Carter goes for suplex but somehow Nitta manages to slip out and rolls Carter up with a good old fashioned school boy!
...1...
...2...
But suddenly Dixon sprints into the ring and pushes on Nitta’s back, angling it perfectly so he’s out of sight of the lying down official. The push means that their positions switch, Carter ending up on top of the schoolboy and Nitta’s shoulders on the canvas. As Dixon exits the ring the official continues to count.
…1…
…2…
…3!
Christa Adina: Your winners, Andrew Carter & Mason Dixon!
Alecia Matthews: Wait a minute, Dixon cheated, that pnfall shouldn’t have counted.
Samael Ahriman: What can you do, the official didn’t see it, Nitta can’t prove it, the result stands.
The moment the bell rings to signal the end of the match Andrew Carter slides out of the ring before Nitta can do anything about it but argue with the official, knowing full well that he just got screwed over. As Carter and Dixon retreat to the back, Cam Nitta recovers enough to request a microphone. His request is granted and he revels a bit in the respectful applause before engaging the audience.
Cam Nitta: Alas, even I cannot beat two men on my own. Of course, a certain sometimes friend, sometimes enemy was advertised alongside me in this match, but he could not show up to tonight’s event, rather than did not show up. Yes, I am talking about Mak Cross. For those that only heard, take a look at the large screen we walk under.
Nitta directs everyone to the ‘Tron as footage of the attack on Cross at Scars and Stripes plays. The direct chair shot to the head followed by the repeated shots elsewhere on his body echoes loudly, causing a reaction by the crowd which turned into stunned silence by the time a bloody Cross is choked out by a large chain before a freeze frame of the two figures dressed in all black.
Cam Nitta: Stop now. As you see here, two people dressed like ghetto ninja somehow got into the building and jumped Mak. But as we play right now…
The footage plays again and the assailants remove their masks, revealing to be Slanted and Enchanted just before the footage freezes again on their now uncovered faces.
Cam Nitta: …we see these aren’t just any two random thugs; they’re the self-professed fan tandem of the WFWF, Slanted and Enchanted!
A mixed reaction of boos and cheers are heard.
Cam Nitta: You see, I am conflicted too. On one hand, it’s great to see so many more of WFWF’s past make a comeback. On the other, yet again, someone from the past hasn’t had their fill of the spotlight and how do they hijack it? By brutalizing a man who wasn’t expecting a fight backstage. But since these two wish for their spotlight, I’m more than ready to give it to them myself.
The crowd cheers at the implication Nitta is ready to fight again.
Cam Nitta: Before I take up too much time as I’m sure to expect some sort of “Play him out” song is forthcoming, I just have two more things to say. I received word from the man himself that Mak Cross will be here next week to give us an update on his condition.
The crowd cheers once again at the news.
Cam Nitta: And finally, this one is directed at S & E: revenge is quite a dish you might have heard.
And as Cam Nitta hands the microphone back, respectful guy that Nitta, we head to a very disrespectful commercial break. Strippers yo’.

We cut to the backstage interview booth where our very own Daniel Knight stands with the Velocity Grrrl, Penny Shannon. Penny stands rather smug in her hoodie, holding in her arms a backpack in the form of a cuddly, anime-looking, pink-and-blue tomcat.
Daniel Knight: Penny Shannon, the wrestling world is still in shock over your action in Scars & Stripes. What can you say to Scarlett Quinn and people watching tonight.
Penny Shannon: …
Daniel Knight stands there waiting for her to say something.
Penny Shannon: Bring the mic closer, dumbass.
Daniel Knight brings the mic closer to Penny’s lips and with that, the Velocity Grrrl smugly shrugs and positions herself so that both Daniel and the camera can see her clearly.
Penny Shannon: First of all, tonight is not about poor, little Scarlett. It’s about me and for the first time, getting my chance to walk into that ring under my own terms. I mean, they even made it an ‘ultraviolent spectacle’- how much more ‘me’ could tonight get?
Penny takes a break to pause.
Penny Shannon: Now, I’m not afraid of Scarlett. If she wants me, she knows where to find me. I don’t care when or where, it’s all up to her. She could come to me now- heck, she could even interrupt my match tonight. I’m available, but I ain’t saying squat until I see her face-to-face.
Penny licks her lips and takes another pause.
Penny Shannon: Like I said on the top of this whole thing, tonight is about me and nobody else and I’ve come prepared- oh boy, am I prepared. Now check this out-
Penny opens her adorable backpack and takes out a bottle of roll-on deodorant.
Penny Shannon: This is a stick of deodorant laced with jelly-fish venom and shards of broken glass!
Daniel Knight: OUCH!
Penny Shannon: You’re damn right, ouch! Because as much as people are going to remember this stick of Ultraviolent Deodorant, people are going to remember tonight as the night I final emerge from the darkness and take this world for myself. Because believe you me, I have been waiting and I’ve been planning, because as much as everybody here is going to hate me tonight, just watch and see, because it isn’t going to be long before I become the most feared and the most adored wrestler in promotion. Mark my words, because the era of Penny, the era of the Virgins start the moment I walk into that ring and kick some ass.
Penny smiles at the camera and then walks away, leaving Daniel Knight standing there without the chance for any kind of follow up.
Daniel Knight: .. There you have it. Let’s return back to ringside.
The arena lights fall. Darkness completely covers the arena; a smattering of the audience resort to holding up their phones, flickering bits of bright light to cut through the darkness. On top of all this, smoke has begun filling up the ramp as Evanescence’s “Bring Me To Life” slowly creeps across the arena.
Samael Ahriman: There is a chill in the air… It is indescribable, you have to be here. Thousands in the arena in complete aww. Mesmerizing. Just mesmerizing.
The song violently shifts into that all too familiar chorus; it’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for. And so, as fogs completely covers the arena, leaving a good number of those in attendance with an irritating cough, the debuting Hendrix marches through the entrance curtain. His expression stoic, his movement’s precise. And without even taking a glance at the thousands in attendance, Hendrix makes his march down the isle... Until suddenly, a drum roll completely kicks the emo balls of Evanescence and announces the awesomeness of L7’s “Fast and Frightening”. Penny Shannon charges behind Hendrix and even before he could even notice the sudden shift in entrance music, Penny tags Hendrix in the back with a mean dropkick and literally surfs down the entrance ramp on top of Hendrix’s back!
Alecia Matthews: Oh my God…
Samael Ahriman: That bitch… That f’ing bitch!
Alecia Matthews: That was like, the greatest entrance ever!
Hendrix’s body takes a violent swing as he slides down the entrance, hurling Penny off into the air until the Velocity Grrrl hits the frame of the ring apron chest-first; Henrdix crashing down to a tumbling stop. Penny gets back to her feet fast and takes Hendrix by the head, but the monster is now on the attack, pushing Penny off and charging over with a lariat so violent that it sends Penny head over feet. Hendrix is just seething.
Alecia Matthews: Well obviously wasn’t the kind of debut Hendrix would have wanted.
Cameron Stone: Not in the least, but he’s looking strong so far. He can turn this match around.
Hendrix picks Penny up by the pig-tails and forces her into the ring, coming in right after her, but the Velocity Grrrl scrambles back to her feet and hits Henrdix across the face with a dropkick, forcing him away from the apron. Penny walks over to the nearest turnbuckles and grabs the hefty garbage back. Leaning over the ropes, Penny opens the bags and pours its contents right over Hendrix; thousands of tiny colored blocks just raining over the monster.
Samael Ahriman: … Are those Legos?!
Hendrix tries to cover himself up from the torrent of Legos that shower over him, distracting him enough for Penny to hurl herself over the ropes with a rolling senton that forces the monster Hendrix to crash right over over the Legos. Hendrix winces in agony, as Penny hits the arena floor hard. Penny pushes away some of the Legos from her feet and hooks Hendrix’ leg for a cover.
1..
2…
Hendrix kicks out!
Penny picks up Hendrix by the head and tries to force him back towards the ring, but Hendrix throws a handful of Legos into Penny’s eyes and then charges over, picks up her and just drives her right into the corner post before dropping Penny down. It’s obvious that Hendrix is absolutely livid, so much so that Hendrix takes the first thing he sees, a light-tube and swings it hard into the side of Penny’s head- glass shattering into tiny little pieces that lacerates Penny’s forehead, busting her wide open. Penny lies on the protective mats, just trying to gain her ground when Hendrix now comes over and smashes a second light-tube against her face with such force that it just drives Penny’s head to the ground. Once again, Hendrix picks up Penny by the pig-tails and pulls her into his arms into a powerslam position and hurls the Velocity Grrrl back into the ring through the first and second rope. Hendrix slips back into the ring and even before Penny can make another move, stops her on her tracks with a hard leg-drop across the back.
Samael Ahriman: It looks like Henrdix is finally starting to dictate the pace of this match.
Cameron Stone: I’m not going to lie, Penny Shannon seems to be on the hot streak right now, but it’s unfortunate to see her have to resort to this kind of behavior to get there.
Alecia Matthews: And just exactly what are you saying?
Cameron Stone: It’s just a matter of time before Penny’s gotta deal with the damage she’s done. There is no way she can expect to get anywhere far in this business with that kind of track record.
Back in the ring, Hendrix has moved the plane of glass away from its spot on the turnbuckle and has started to position in between the ropes, officials helping him prop it into place. Herndix turns his attention back to Penny, but Penny motions over and clobs him with a low-blow; Hendrix now sinking to his feet. Penny grabs a fresh light-tube and scrambles back to her feet- hitting the ropes and charging back with the light-tube in front of her, swinging her foot behind the light-tube now with a modified Yakuza-kick, but Hendrix ducks it and using Penny’s momentum, traps her into his arms, just driving her down with not-so-picture perfect powerslam, but Penny manages to counter it, swinging herself around his frame to position herself for the side-Russian leg sweep, with the light-tube right over Hendrix’s neck. Penny tries to push back, but Hendrix over-powers her and forces her into the canvass with a push so hard that she breaks the light-tube on impact. Hendrix seizes the moment with a cover.
1…
2…
Penny kicks out.
Cameron Stone: Rookie mistake on the part of Hendrix, he’s just giving Penny the breathing room she needs to recover.
Hendrix again pulls Penny by the pig-tails and points over to the panel of glass, getting the crowd in on he’s about to do. Hendrix gestures a cut across his throat and with that, gut-wrenches Penny into a powerbomb position and charges towards the panel of glass; Penny digs deep into her hoodie and retrieves an object. The fans break into a cheer as the camera zooms close-
Samael Ahriman: The deodorant!
Alecia Matthews: -Correction: that’s the Ultraviolent Deodorant!
Penny opens the stick and rakes the ultraviolent deodorant across Hendrix’ eyes, blinding him with that mix of broken glass and Jelly-fish venom that the monster has no other choice but to drop Penny down just inches away from destroying her into the glass. Hendrix drops to his knees, trying to rub the sting away from his eyes- Penny bounces off the and crashes into him with her boot against the back of his head; the Liberty Cap just driving Hendrix’s head into thick glass- shattering it violently on impact. The crowd is just nuts as Hendrix’s broken body just barely spills into the outside- the fans are on the feet. Penny rushes to her feet and throws her arms into the air; the Velocity Grrrl just savoring the sweet taste of her impending victory. With blood pouring down her face, it is a moment in glory to be remembered! … But wait- here comes Scarlett Quinn from the crowd, rushing into the ring behind Penny and nailing her in the head with the jumping superkick before the Velocity Grrrl could even notice.
Samael Ahriman: Now that’s what we’ve been waiting for!
Cameron Stone: While, I’m not the biggest fan of Scarlett Quinn, that kick has got to feel good. She’s lost her friends, she’s lost her title and Scarlett Quinn looks set on taking it all back!
Hendix appears to be coming to, forcing his way up the apron. Scarlett Quinn rushes over and tries to help him back into the ring, but Hendrix has his second wind as he slips inside and motions over to the fallen Velocity Grrrl. Hendrix forces her to the center of the ring and violently silences her with the Dominatrix, just spiking her into the canvass with a sickening spin. Hendrix hooks the leg.
1...
2...
3...
Samael Ahriman: And Hendrix scores the win!
Alecia Matthews: Yeah, with the help of a bitter ex-champion!
“Bring Me To Life” resounds across the arena as the referee rushes over to Hendrix, raising up his arm in victory. Hendrix pants for a moment before rising to his feet and raising his arms in victory, screaming into the air.
Cameron Stone: You can say what you want, but a win is a win and while it wasn’t the debut Hendrix could have wanted, there’s no denying he was impressive out there tonight.
Hendrix heads to the lockers, leaving Penny right where Scarlett wants her. The former friends look each other in the eye: Scarlett, standing in the center of the ring, Penny on the canvass, blood still dripping down her face. Penny gets back to her feet and makes her way over to Scarlett, both girls now starting the other down. Penny motions to the ropes and leans over, calling out for a mic. She’s handed two by ring officials and tosses the other one to Scarlett.
Penny Shannon: I’m all yours, girl. Let’s do this.
Scarlett looks up and with a smug, the Princess of Wrestling licks her lips and gives herself a moment’s thought.
Scarlett Quinn: Penny… Oh, Penny, Penny, Penny... I really was that stupid, wasn’t I? Trusting you. You see, just like Trace, I gave you the benefit of the doubt- I thought you would never turn against me. I gave you that trust and just when I needed you the most, you, my best friend, finished me off.
Cameron Stone: A fair point made by Quinn.
Scarlett Quinn walks closer to Penny.
Scarlett Quinn: I’m not interested in listening to your reasons or excuses, I’m here to do something about what you did to me and it’s going to start with me kicking your ass!
Penny got right into Scarlett’s face; both girls leaning their forehead against each other, seething as the audience cheered in anticipation of the coming brawl between the two former friends. The two girls exchange words away from the microphones, just mouthing out trash talk until Scarlett hits Penny across the face with a hard slap. Penny’s eyes literally pop out of her head and it isn’t long before the two girls start trading punches.
Samael Ahriman: Now this is what we’ve been waiting for.
Scarlett gains the upper hand between the two girls, pushing Penny into the ropes now. Penny bounces back, ducks under Scarlett’s attack and slips out of the ring. A smattering of boos from the audience now as the Velocity Grrrl motions towards the entrance ramp. With a deep breath, Penny grins and opens up her arms, just egging Scarlett to come down the ramp and face her. Scarlett stays where she is, keeping her eyes on Penny, distracted enough for Slanted and Enchanted to rush from behind her and jump her down.
Alecia Matthews: Its Slanted and Enchanted!
Cameron Stone: The dweebs are back!
Slanted and Enchanted pummel Scarlett into the canvass; Slanted in the standing position, just beating her with stomp after stomp, Enchanted on the canvass, punching away.
With a sadistic smile, Penny walks back to the ring and takes the mic again.
Penny Shannon: Like I was saying, tonight is my night. You’ve had your time in the sun, it’s my turn now. And I’m sorry, I am really sorry that things had to come to this, hun. I am, but there’s no turning back now.
Scarlett hocks a loogie at Penny, but this only inspires the returning Slanted and Enchanted to beat her up some more. There crowd has grown incredibly hot towards the trio, taking note of the situation around them, Penny signals Slanted and Enchanted to exit the ring. “Fast and Frightening” resounds now as Penny, Slanted, and Enchanted make their way backstage.

The video had started to show some light and it had been in a training room. The lights were dim and the equipment wasn’t used at the moment. The seven foot tall ZMaster had shown his face following the events of Scars and Stripes. Though disappointment existed.
ZMaster: Looking at that mirror I had seen my fate and I accepted it. I know the path that I am going. Scars and Stripes further emphasized that it wasn’t meant to happen. The black mark on my career is still going to be there. I suppose I can live with it and move forward. I don’t like it but I have no choice but to accept it. Many wonder why I returned in the first time. It had been a long time. The real reason has to do with a proper finale. I am not expected to go for championships this time around. It is about closure that I thought would have happened years ago.
ZMaster had paused for a moment and had been thinking about what the plans for the future were going to be. His mind had also gone into the past as he had recalled many moments that had happened such as being a champion alongside with times he thought he was to have retired. Each time had shown that there was no true conclusion and final chapter written properly.
ZMaster: I will make it official as Super Brawl will be my last stand. That means after that event, I will be finished. Super Brawl is my last match. Once the event is over, I will not be returning and that is 100%. Years ago I thought I was done but I never said it was 100%. I had thought that it would be the case but it has proven to not be. Before I go, it seems that I had been challenged on Revolution.
He turned to the opposite direction and stared at the wall. He breathed heavily but then continued to plan out his next move. After declaring what he had declared, it became about doing what was necessary to complete his final journey. In order to do so, he realized that obstacles stood in the way and would merely be a vehicle to see what was next.
ZMaster: Our paths had crossed beforehand. You cost me a shot at being world champion one more time at Scars and Stripes years back. Ironically, you were someone that played a part of history as I would claim a tag team title becoming a WFWF Grand Slam Champion. Our history is known but now is not the time to look back completely. It’s a different setting with no championships. There is nothing to gain in terms of titles or legacies.
He paused for a brief moment to collect his thoughts. He had described his opponent very well and one of his past. He had thought about it and realized that there was no point in turning back.
ZMaster: Reverend Shadow, you wish to face me one on one? Your wish shall be granted. I will be waiting for you on the next edition of Revolution.
As ZMaster had finished speaking, the video had started to cut off slowly and it faded into the darkness.
Alecia Matthews: Up next we have one of the stranger matches of the evening as two misfit teams of three pair up to face off in a strange bedfellows six man tag team match.
Samael Ahriman: Strange is right, you’d almost think this one was thrown together because they had six guys left over.
Cameron Stone: Don’t be stupid, nobody would do something so ridiculous.
Samael Ahriman: Dude, they hired you.
Alecia Matthews: Burn.
Six Man Strange Bedfellows Tag Team Match Yukio Blaze, Jayson Garrett & Chase Landon vs. Whisper, Ace Andrews & Dex You might have thought that the teams itself was the strangest part of this six man tag team match but that turned out to be only a minor part of proceedings because things got even stranger before the match even started as Whisper and Ace Andrews didn’t even turn up. Yes, Dex was left all alone as Whisper’s War have turned out to be more Whisper’s Minor Irritation. Dex refused to forfeit the match however and took on all three of his opponents on his own, the masked madman living up to his nickname. And credit where credit is due Dex gave them a hell of a fight despite being outnumbered. He took on all three men and gave them each his best and had to convert some of his doubters in the process. Towards the end of the match he had his best chance to pull off the upset of the year (however early that might be) when Garrett and Landon began arguing at ringside, something about Landon’s pet rat giving Garrett rabies, leaving Dex to roll up Yukio for an oh so close near fall. Blaze kicked out however and then managed to counter the God’s Favourite Stunner with a jawbreaker. Blaze would follow up with the Trail Blazer to finally put Dex down for the count and pick up the victory. Victors: Yukio Blaze, Jayson Garrett & Chase Landon
Samael Ahriman: Well that was… well, damn impressive.
Alecia Matthews: That was a star making performance is what that was.
Cameron Stone: Either way Yukio Blaze picks up the win for his team though they don’t look like much of a team to me.
Indeed Jayson Garrett and Chase Landon continue to argue over the rat on the outside while Yukio Blaze sits in the ring staring out at them, something triggering in his mind. Whatever it is we probably don’t want to know, and that’s why we’re gonna cut away quickly to some kind of video so we can come back just as quickly…
As we return to the arena we see Drakz already half way down the ramp making his way toward the ring. As in line with his previous two recent appearances the PA system is resting on its laurels and he enters under the ring ropes unaccompanied.
Alecia Matthews: It's got to be said since his return Drakz has hardly been wowing us with his ring walks. Where's the theatre? Where's the pazaz?
Once stood he calls for a mic, which is tossed to him, and addresses the thousands in attendance.
Drakz: Ladies and Gentlemen, we're now in the home straight.
The audience responds with a cheer.
Drakz: We're heading into the big one.
Again the audience pops.
Cameron Stone: Is he talking about Superbrawl?
Samael Ahriman: Go figure.
Drakz: Right now however it seems we don't even have a single match set in stone for the card. I intend to set that straight right now.
The arena goes wild knowing this really is the first step towards Superbrawl.
Alecia Matthews: Does he even have the authority to do that?
Drakz: As you all know I was let down the other night. I intended on giving you all a match of the ages, a dream match up. But for reasons unknown my opponent decided not to show. Now I'm not going to dwell on that as we all need to look dead ahead, not over our shoulder, and so my final thought for the housebound Philip Schneider is thus.
Much to the enjoyment of the audience Drakz flicks a middle finger at the closest camera and moves on quickly.
Cameron Stone: Well that's hardly very humble is it?
Samael Ahriman: I think it's rather deserved though and by the sounds of it so do these fans.
Drakz: Now that's done with let's move on to bigger and more pressing issues. In just over a months time we will be stood on the grandest stage of them all and I want to take that opportunity to not only make my long awaited in ring return, but also to help someone's trajectory. Now that might sound egotistical but I don't intend it to be taken that way. What I mean is, I'm willing to face literally anyone at Superbrawl. I don't mind if you're new this week, long since retired or anywhere in between I'm willing to give you a match on Pay Per View that just might make your career. Win lose or draw it's common knowledge that a fight with me is a fight that will go down in history, especially when it's got the kind of platform Superbrawl offers. So………….
He turns toward the ring ramp.
Drakz: Like I said at Scars & Stripes, tonight, right now on Revolution, I'm offering an open challenge for Superbrawl. So whoever wants to take up this golden opportunity should do so now.
Nothing. Drakz stares up the ramp to the stage yet still nothing happens.
Alecia Matthews: No one seems all that keen on the idea.
Samael Ahriman: Perhaps everyone back there knows enough about Drakz's past to not jump at the opportunity.
Drakz: Well I honestly thought my hand would have been bitten off, maybe they're all fighting out back trying to be the first on out here.
Drakz laughs and lowers the mic again, his eyes fixed on the stage awaiting his opponent. Still nothing.
Drakz: You know I was expecting to have someone's entrance music just cut me off half way through like usual but it seems…..
"SHOCK OUT!" booms over the arena PA and Drakz's face drastically changes from that of patience to confusion. A strobe light flickers as the stage fills with rising smoke through which emerges an old face, kind of. Drakz now looks on in complete disbelief and follows every step his opponent takes as he erupts through the smoke and begins to run down the ramp toward the ring.
Samael Ahriman: Oh my God! Look who it is!
Cameron Stone: Who is it?
Alecia Matthews: Yeah who is it?
Drakz backs up against the opposite ring ropes and continues to watch this masked man with a look of terror. The music finally cuts and the masked man jumps down from the top rope and turns to face Drakz who raises the mic to his lips.
Drakz: I don't know who that is behind that mask but do you think this is funny? You have no idea about what this represents. You think you can don a gas mask, turn on the music and come out here as Chaemo? This is f*cking madness!
Cameron Stone: What's a Chaemo?
Samael Ahriman: Who not what.
The crowd are near silent for once, watching Drakz come close to break down.
Drakz: Who are you?
He gets no reply from the masked man.
Drakz: You can't be Chaemo. I'm Chaemo. I was Chaemo, or he was me I guess. Either way that whole thing is dead.
Alecia Matthews: This makes no sense.
Samael Ahriman: You need to do some research if you want to keep this job.
The man masquerading as Chaemo stands firm and slowly shakes his head. Drakz is at his wits end and begins shouting.
Drakz: Take it off! Take that mask off!
The masked man shakes his head again.
Drakz: Take the mask off and only then will I grant you the match. While that gas mask hides your identity you're wasting your time.
The masked head continues to shake, responding NO to everything Drakz says.
Drakz: This is your final warning mate. Take the mask off!
This time Drakz reaches out and grabs the front of the mask with one hand but the fake Chaemo pulls a roll of quarters from his back pocket and blasts Drakz hard upside the head, dropping him with one shot. Drakz crumples to the floor and the mic thuds as it hits the canvas, all of this has the crowd in a state of disarray, not really knowing how to react. Chaemo takes this opportunity to leave the scene, giving Drakz a prod with his boot as he goes. He exits the ring and then jumps the guard wall and disappears up and into the crowd whilst members of staff rush to the ring to check on Drakz's condition.
Samael Ahriman: Good lord! Whoever that was dressed up like Chaemo just blindsided Drakz.
Cameron Stone: You got knocked the f*ck out son!

The arena lights go dark as Joe Bishop's new theme 'Lose It' blasts around the arena. After a few seconds Joe Bishop emerges in the entrance way. The three time National Champion, the belt draped over his shoulder, looks focused on the task at hand, ignoring the mixed response he receives from the WFWF fans as he walks down the ramp. Bishop climbs up the ring steps and enters the ring, handing the National Championship to the WFWF official as he waits for Reverend Shadow to appear.
Alecia Matthews: Joe Bishop stands in the middle of the ring, the National Champion before the match of his life, but I don't think anyone can see him leaving this arena with that belt.
O'Death hits as the 'WFWF's Living Saviour' Reverend Shadow appears in the entrance way, smiling at Joe Bishop. Shadow makes his way down the ramp, entering the ring and coming face to face with Bishop. The WFWF official raises the National Championship in the air, the bell then rings to initiate this National Championship match.
Samael Ahriman: Here we go, the legendary Reverend Shadow and the National Champion Joe Bishop going head to head for the belt.
Smash!
A right hand from Shadow gets us under-way, the two exchanging punches in the early stages of the match. Shadow soon takes control with a knee to the gut of Bishop, he follows it up with two uppercuts in quick succession that leaves the champion reeling and then takes Bishop to the ground with a running knee lift.
Alecia Matthews: Positive start from the favourite here.
Shadow looks to capitalise on his early momentum, positioning himself over Bishop and unleashing a torrent of clubbing blows to the face of his fallen foe. Shadow refuses to let up as Bishop desperately tries to protect himself from the blows. Eventually satisfied with the early damage he has done, Shadow stands, quickly locking Bishop in a Boston Crab to keep the momentum. Bishop looks to pull himself towards the ropes, but his first two attempts are thwarted by the Reverend who pulls him back to the centre of the ring.
Samael Ahriman: An awful start for Bishop, this is the last thing he needed.
On the third occasion however, Bishop is able to struggle towards the ropes and this time Shadow allows him to do so, letting Bishop out of the move as soon as he reaches the ropes. But the National Champion isn't allowed any time to catch his breath, as Shadow quickly pulls him back to his feet and sends him crashing into the turnbuckles. Bishop ends up face down on the mat, but is soon yanked back up and shoved into the corner as Shadow had originally intended. A couple of shoulder rams do some damage although Bishop remains standing as Shadow retreats to the other corner of the ring.
Alecia Matthews: It's not looking good for Bishop in the early stages of this match.
Samael Ahriman: He needs to get back into this quickly.
The hall-of-famer then races towards Bishop, looking to hit a spear in the corner of the ring, but the Englishman is able to avoid it and Shadow ends up crashing into the ring post. Bishop pulls Shadow away from the ring post and hits a German Suplex that leaves Shadow down in the middle of the ring. Bishop goes for the pin.
1...
No!
Alecia Matthews: Bishop failing to get the win there, but he might just have turned the tide in this match.
A quick kickout from Shadow annoys Bishop, he hits a couple of forearms to the head of Shadow, before forcing his arm into the neck of Shadow and again going for the pin.
1...
No!
Again Shadow kicks out. A frustrated Bishop gets up and moves Shadow into a seated position before applying a rear chinlock. Shadow struggles in the hold for a minute or so, but is able to escape it eventually, getting to his feet with the submission still applied and falling backwards to send Bishop crashing into the mat. Bishop instantly lets go of the hold allowing Reverend Shadow to take control of the match once again.
Samael Ahriman: Bishop has lost control of this one and it may well lead to him losing the National Championship.
Shadow beings stomping on the fallen Bishop who struggles to get to his feet as the blows reign down, but eventually he struggles up to face Shadow once again. Not for long though, as an Irish whip and big boot leave Bishop floored again.
Alecia Matthews: Shadow could be about to finish this one.
Shadow moves towards Bishop, who is able to keep Shadow at bay temporarily with a few kicks that don't make contact, but are enough to put Shadow off getting too close. Bishop then has enough time to shuffle backwards to the corner of the ring and slip out under the bottom rope just as Shadow was running towards his grounded opponent. Shadow looks bemused as Bishop goes over to the announcer table and grabs his National Championship.
Samael Ahriman: What's Bishop doing?
Shadow allows Bishop to roll back into the ring with the belt, Bishop tries to swing it at his opponent, but Shadow ducks under it and when Bishop turns round to have another go he's met by a kick to the gut and an implant DDT. Bishop's head crashes into the mat and he flips over, now face up in the middle of the ring, Shadows moves across and hooks the leg.
Alecia Matthews: Looks like he was trying to get himself disqualified to keep hold of the belt.
Samael Ahriman: And it's probably just cost him it.
1...
2...
NO!
Bishop is just able to get a shoulder up and avoid losing to Shadow for the time being. But Reverend can smell blood and intends to finish this one as quickly as possible. Shadow grabs Bishop by the hair and pulls him to his feet, the National Champion helpless as Shadow props him up. A fisherman suplex from Shadow gives him another chance to finish Bishop off.
1...
2...
Alecia Matthews: That has to be it.
NO!
Samael Ahriman: Well we were milliseconds away from having a new National Champion.
Another late kickout saves Bishop. Shadow gets to his feet, still wanting to finish this one off early, he grabs hold of Bishop's leg and it looks like he's about to lock in the Submission of Repentment. The National Champion is able to save himself, kicking Shadow away and springing up to his feet. Shadow looks to take Bishop down with a clothesline but Bishop ducks it and the two stand at opposite corners of the ring again. Shadow makes the first move looking to take Bishop down with a spear, but Bishop moves out of the way and is able to roll Shadow up looking for an out of the blue victory.
1...
2...
No!
Alecia Matthews: And Bishop nearly getting the victory here. Shadow has been in control for the most part but it really could go either way here.
Shadow managed to escape it and having got to his feet is able to swing his boot at the face of a downed Bishop. Shadow mounts the downed Bishop and starts firing blows at his face. But he soon regrets doing so as Bishop catches one of his punches and is able to lock Shadow in the Mactabilis Factum, flipping Shadow onto his back as he does so and gaining the higher ground.
Samael Ahriman: Oh my God, Bishop could be about to win this match from out of nowhere.
Shadow struggles at first, but it's locked in tight and there seems to be very little chance of escape. Shadow beings to look drowsy and while he clearly doesn't intend to tap out, escape looks less and less likely.
Alecia Matthews: Shades of Bishop's first title defence against Jayson Garrett.
Samael Ahriman: Indeed, Bishop passed out in that one and it's beginning to look like Shadow might go the same way.
Somehow Shadow pulls himself together and is able to throw a couple of elbows at the face of Bishop, he then manages to struggle free and get back to his feet. Bishop is quickly up too and he clearly can't believe that Shadow survived that. Bishop runs at Shadow and sends him straight back down to the mat with a flying knee to the jaw. Shadow collapses to the ground and Bishop sees his opportunity, leaping up to the top rope.
Alecia Matthews: Bishop's looking to hit the Decido Spiritus.
Samael Ahriman: This could be it.
Bishop goes for the Decido Spiritus but Shadow is able to roll out of the way at the last second and Bishop finds himself crashing into the mat.
Alecia Matthews: Ouch, that's got to hurt.
Shadow grabs Bishop by the hair, pulls him to his feet and sends him crashing face first into the mat with an Unholy Rapture.
Samael Ahriman: It's over.
Shadow falls onto the body of Bishop.
1...
2...
3!
Alecia Matthews: Bishop went close, but he couldn't get the job done against the hall-of-famer, we've got a new National Champion in Reverend Shadow.
Shadow is handed the National Championship by the referee as Bishop rolls out of the ring and heads to the back. Shadow stands tall in the middle of the ring, the new National Champion.
?: Shadow…
The familiar voice, unseen, cuts through the arena, surrounding Shadow in the center of the ring. The Reverend composes himself in the middle of the ring and stands in a state of complete peace, allowing himself to become one with the unseen stranger.
?: … Reverend Shadow.
The loud rev from an engine cuts through the area with a mean bark, announcing itself as something that should not treaded upon with caution.
?: … It almost seems like a lifetime ago when you and I dominated the WFWF. It was the time of a Higher Authority. You were the World Champion and I was the International Champion. The future looked bright and the hands of the WFWF seemed to fall on us. The legends and main eventers were all but gone; it was our chance to define our own history.
Suddenly, all eyes turned upon the jumbo tron, gazing over to the sight of WFWF legend, Wayne McGurk. The roar from the audience was almost deafening. It appeared that McGurk stood behind a chain-linked fence, pulling a cigarette away from his lips as he blew smoke towards the camera.
Wayne McGurk: Back in our day, we all fought through hell and back, giving ourselves- putting our lives on the line each and every night in the name of this company. There was never anything quite like it and there’s never been anything else like it. We made history, but yet you and I hardly stepped foot in the same ring together. It would have seemed like the perfect main event at the time, but our destines were never quite entwined as they are now, maybe with the exception of one or two occasions that’s happened only ‘cause there was nothing else to book.
Wayne takes a large drag off his cigarette and the camera pulls back to reveal and a half-body shot with his wife, a WFWF legend in her own right, Vanessa, snuggled up against him, just hanging off every word that came from her husband’s lips. In the ring, Rev watches all this with a smirk; it’s as if he too knows what’s coming next.
Wayne McGurk: The old lady and I rode into Scars & Stripes without the intention of actually winning; no, we were there to relive in the old days, to return to a time when we had the WFWF at the palm of our hand. It may all seem like ancient history now, but there was a time when I was the most feared and untouchable man in that locker room. You knew that when you were booked against Wayne or Vanessa McGurk that you were in for a beating so hard there was a chance in hell you were going to win.
Vanessa takes the cigarette away from Wayne’s hand and leans back against his towering frame, taking a nice long drag from the cigarette. Exhaling, Vanessa dreamily looks up at Wayne as she brings the cigarette to his lips; the man closing his eyes now as he enjoys the drag off his wife’s fingers.
Wayne McGurk: But Scars & Stripes, now that just riled something up in the both of us. Somehow, we both knew what was coming. You could almost say that it’s destined and how fitting that it will all come full circle in the biggest possible way. Reverend Shadow, it was just a matter of time before one of us cast the first stone, and come Superbrawl, the stones shall rain across all four corners of that very ring. Blood will be shed, bodies will be broken until nothing else is left but the insatiable appetite to survive.
Reverend Shadow closes his eyes, again sinking into deep meditation. His head nodding along to the elder McGurk’s words as his mouth opens to reveal one quiet yes after the other.
Wayne McGurk: So here’s my challenge: Superbrawl. A fight for the ages between two of the finest wrestlers this company has ever produced. You took the first shot, I’m giving you the offer with the venue all set and ready. All you have to do is say yes.
Vanessa sighed in Wayne’s arms and looked into the camera.
Vanessa: You’ve been on quite a roll since your return- you are virtually undefeated. I would think twice about risking that nice little streak if I were you.
Wayne McGurk: The choice is yours, Reverend Shadow. The choice is yours.
The image on the jumbo tron fades into the darkness, leaving Reverend Shadow alone in the center of the ring. His eyes still closed, the man in perfect meditation. The crowd is slowly becoming restless, hanging on to Shadow’s very actions, just waiting for him to say the word. The Reverend remains still. The crowd is fast becoming impatient; many of those in attendance shouting out, as if to somehow encourage him to give them what they want. With a spin in his step, Shadow swiftly takes the microphone and returns to his spot.
Reverend Shadow: May the better man win.
The crowd pops into a deafening ovation.
Samael Ahriman: Can you believe this?!
Alecia Matthews: There we have it. One of the first matches announced for Superbrawl. Wayne McGurk vs. Reverend Shadow!
Reverend Shadow drops the microphone as “O’Death” hits the arena speakers, allowing him his moment to exit the ring.

”Horseshoes and Hand Grenades” by Green Day resonates throughout the arena to a high quality mixture of cheers and jeers from the fans.
Christa Adina: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he is THUNDER!
Sure enough, the man known as Thunder comes out from behind the curtain, a satisfied look on his face.
Cameron Stone: Smug prick.
Alecia Matthews: Hey now, I know you are buddy buddy with his opponent, but come on. Thunder has gone from down in the dumps to getting the opportunity to main event SuperBrawl in the WFWF Championship match against Trace Demon. A shot at redemption. Imagine the fanfare.
Cameron Stone: I would rather not.
Thunder rolls into the ring.
“Come as You Are” by Nirvana hits. Insta-heel reaction activated.
Christa Adina: And his partner, he is the WFWF International Champion, he is Crow!
From behind the curtain come the members of The Nest, singing along eerily to the beat of the song, swaying back and forth as the WFWF International Champion comes out from the back, patting all of the members of the Nest on the head, kissing the last one on the forehead as he makes his way to the ring.
Alecia Matthews: As creepy as he is, Crow may have had the best night of anyone at Scars and Stripes. Not only is he a co winner of the Battle Royal, he also somehow managed to ge ahold of the WFWF International Championship…and this was all in his debut.
Crow gets to the ring, slowly climbing in, staring at Thunder the entire time.
”Revelation” by Symphony X resonates throughout the arena. The fans rise to their feet, going ballistic at the sound that had long been forgotten.
Christa Adina: And their opponents. At a combined weight of five hundred and ten pounds, they are Shawn Malakai and Ace Bennett…THEY ARE REEEEEEEEEVVVVVVEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAATTTTTTIIIIIIIIIIIOOOOOOOOOOON!
From behind the curtains come Shawn Malakai and Ace Bennett, donning VINTAGE Revelation attire. Malakai, wearing his leather trench coat and Bennett, an old Revelation T Shirt.
Alecia Matthews: Is this a one time thing?
Samael Ahriman: One would imagine.
Alecia Matthews: Then why go all out for old gear?
Cameron Stone: **camera pointing to him wearing Stone gear** Merchandising baaaaaaaaaaaaabaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy!
Malakai and Bennett look at one another, back at the ring, shrug, and take off towards the ring, sliding in and before the ref could call for the bell, all four of the men were in a kerfuffle.
Alecia Matthews: Well that escalated about as quick as anyone could have expected.
Cameron Stone: Did you really expect this to not break down? I am surprised it took this long.
Alecia Matthews: This long? IT JUST STARTED.
Cameron Stone: I figured we would have a cut to the back where they were all trying to kill each other.
Thunder and Malakai are fighting it out, as are Crow and Bennett. Dishing out the dukes, Malakai has the advantage on Thunder out of the gate, hitting a few strong jaw shots sending the former champ staggering. Malakai swings him against the ropes and dumps him over the top with a sick clothesline.
On the other side of the ring, Crow has Bennett dead to rights, taking it too Ace with a series of uppercuts. Ace dodges one though and takes full advantage, turning to the side and delivering a nasty kick to the chest of Crow. Crow stumbles towards the ropes, Bennett dropkicking him through the middle and out to the floor with Thunder.
Alecia Matthews: Great work by Malakai and Bennett there, taking It to them early.
Samael Ahriman: It is not over!
Cameron Stone: CLEAR THE DECKS! CANNONBALL COMIN’ BABY!
In the ring, Malakai was standing at the ropes that had just been the fate of Crow and Thunder. Malakai looks back over his shoulder at Bennett and seems to spin his finger in the air. Bennett gets a smug look on his face and nodded. Bennett goes off of the ropes by Malakai, turns to run the opposite ropes, his speed increasing each time he ricochets, and as he nears Malakai again, Malakai kind of crouches. He gets his hand under the gut of Bennett, who has started to launch, Malakai using that force to aid Bennett up and over the top rope, reaching an ungodly height as the areal Ace comes crashing down with tremendous force, hitting both Crow and Thunder with a mega cross body.
Malakai leaps up the turnbuckle, Kaepernicking as the fans lose their sh*t.
Alecia Matthews: Ok, that was cool.
Bennett pulls himself to his feet and rolls into the ring, celebrating with Malakai.
Samael Ahriman: Malakai and Bennett clearly with control in the early goings of this match.
Alecia Matthews: …the match never started.
Cameron Stone: Nope.
Thunder and Crow are now somewhat on their feet. Thunder has lost his head, meanwhile Crow, rescrewing his head onto his body, looks as calm as ever. As Thunder and Crow make it into the ring, the ref holds Malakai and Bennett back so the other team can get set for the match. Malakai and Ace whisper to one another, Bennett stepping out of the ring. Thunder starts to charge the other corner to get in against Malakai, but Crow grabs Thunders arm before he can take off. He is yelling SOMETHING, which apparently Sam makes out.
Samael Ahriman: Crow trying to keep Thunder on the sidelines till he calms down.
Cameron Stone: Smart. Thunder is going to get them disqualified otherwise.
It seems after some persuasion, Thunder has agreed to step out. Crow and Malakai then start to circle the wagons as the ref calls for the bell.
DING DING DING
Malakai goes for a tie up on Crow, who somehow seems to have magically trimmed down and gotten a bit shorter since Scars and Stripes.
Magic. Witchcraft.
Crow allows the tie up but he worms out immediately, getting behind Malakai. He goes for a kidney shot but Malakai is well aware of the forthcoming move and scoots forward and takes a wild back hand swing, just missing the nose of Crow. Crow stands toe to toe with Malakai now, completely unintimidated. Malakai shouts something at Crow, to which Crow laughs with that sadistic, maniacal laugh. Malakai takes a shot at Crow, who moves, catching onto Shawns arm. He hits a Russian Leg Sweep on the big man, taking him down.
Cameron Stone: Not often we see Malakai taken off of his feet like that.
Crow acts as if he heard Stone, showing…EMOTION. The world may be ending, as Crow cracks a smile. He backs against the ropes and drops a running elbow into Malakais sternum. Cover.
… 1 …
… 2 …
Malakai kicks out at two. Crow pins Malakais arm to the mat and leaves his knees, driving them both into the pinned arm. Malakai rolls, grabbing onto the arm. Crow uses his strength to roll Malakai back and hit the knees to Malakai again, except this time, targeting Malakais bum hand.
Samael Ahriman: Smart targeting by Crow.
Cameron Stone: Yep.
The WFWF International Champion gets to his feet, standing with one foot on Malakais hand. He smashes his boot down onto the hand, squashing it like a bug, Malakai thrashing around in pain. Crow stomps on the elbow a few times. Crow drags Malakai to the corner and stares at Thunder, almost as if he is asking him if he is calm now. Thunder sticks out his hand, and Crow makes the tag. Crow holds the hand down to the mat with his boot, Thunder ascending the top rope. The crowd boos as he leaps off, curb stomping Malakais elbow. Bennett bolts into the ring and starts screaming at the ref, trying to get Crow out. With the refs back turned thanks to the involuntary distraction by Bennett, Malakai gets double teamed something fierce by Thunder and Crow, both men stomping on the arm and chest of the downed giant.
Cameron Stone: The man is the number one contender for the WFWF Championship. Show some respect.
Alecia Matthews: …they all are the number one contender for the WFWF Championship. So is Scarlett Quinn. Hell, you might be too, Cam.
Cameron Stone: Really?
Samael Ahriman: No.
Cameron Stone: Well then NO POUTINE FOR YOU.
Samael Ahriman: What the f*ck are you? The Poutine Nazi?
Cameron Stone: Yep.
Ace rushes to his corner so the ref will pay attention again. Thunder gets onto his knees and gets Malakai into a reverse armbar, really cranking on the pressure. Malakais eyes are about ready to come out of his head.
Samael Ahriman: Thunder taking full advantage of an old injury on Malakai of his causing.
Alecia Matthews: Well…technically Malakai was the one who lit himself on fire.
Samael Ahriman: Well Thunder all but made him resort to such tactics in order to win his title back.
Alecia Matthews: That Malakai originally took from him…
Samael Ahriman: Are you REALLY defending Thunder right now?
Alecia Matthews: Playing devils advocate. Were his actions really necessary? Did he have to destroy our announce table?
Samael Ahriman: I cannot believe you.
In the ring, Thunder has the hold cranked in pretty good. Malakai has tried and failed a couple of times to get footing underneath him, but he fails each time. Malakai gets his foot to the rope, touching the bottom one, but losing his balance and no longer touching, the ref not forcing the break. Bennett half enters the ring again, peeving the ref off. The ref reads Ace the riot act, and as he does so, Malakai cocks his free arm up and back, blasting Thunder in the Child Maker. Thunder obviously releases the hold, in pain. Crow shouts at the ref, bending over the ropes and swinging back in sheer annoyance, trying to get his attention. The ref turns around, seeing the carnage in the corner. Crow shoots a comment at the ref, along the lines of ‘a little late, bunghole.’
Alecia Matthews: Well Malakai just f*cked up Thunder.
Samael Ahriman: ‘Twas funny.
The crowd is willing on Malakai, who is starting to get to his feet. As is Thunder, still shaken. He stumbles into the corner and tags in Crow, who comes into the ring, but he is met with a Feint Rolling Kick by Malakai!
Cameron Stone: I TAUGHT HIM THAT ONE!
Malakai is down. Crow is down. The fans are on their feet!
Alecia Matthews: This place is electric!
The fans are chanting on Malakai, who crawls to his corner, taking one half leap on his knee and extending his arm. Tag.
Samael Ahriman: HOT TAG TO BENNETT. HERE WE GO!
Bennett comes into the ring and OBLITERATES Crow with a clothesline. Crow is up again, perhaps on reflex, and gets another clothesline for his efforts. Up again, Bennett PUNCH. PUNCH. KICK. PUNCH. BACKFIST. SPINNING HEEL KICK! Crow is down! Bennett climbs up to the top rope, but before he can jump off, Thunder gets ahold of him somehow and shoves him off of the top, out of the ring, Bennett crashing into the barricade on the outside. The ref, enraged, goes up to Thunder and shouts at him. Like a speeding bullet, Malakai charges from wherever he was hidden, going for Thunder with a clothesline but in his way he also takes out the referee. Thunder, Bennett, Malakai and the ref are down.
Cameron Stone: It is like a car crash out here.
Alecia Matthews: This is going to get ugly.
Malakai is up, shouting out to Thunder some words that…well...yeah…cannot be said on the air. Malakai turns around…WACK.
The crowd boos. Loudly.
Crow, having disappeared, got himself a steel chair in the commotion. With the ref down, he wacks Malakai in the head with the chair. Malakai crumples under the weight of the shot, dead. Crow outstretches his arms in a sadistic pose, letting out an equally creepy laugh, almost drinking in the jeers from the fans. He looks out at the fans in the upper bowl, smiling as he pulls the chair up and hits down hard on Malakai. Again. And again.
The crowd is letting him have it.
Alecia Matthews: This is getting REALLY bad.
On the outside, Thunder has regained his cognizance and is keeping watch on the outside of the ring, making sure no one comes down for he aid.
Alecia Matthews: Someone should help. Hey…wait…Sam…what…!
On the other side of the ring, of no attention to anyone else, Ace Bennett has recovered somewhat from his attack from Thunder. On the other side of the announce table, Samael has removed his headset and is staring down Bennett.
Alecia Matthews: Not this again…wait…what?
Samael reaches behind his chair, pulling out the kendo stick he carries around! Over the table it goes, Bennett catching it out of mid air. Bennett twirls it around and around. He smiles, walking towards the other side of the ring. Before helping Malakai, he turns his attention to Thunder. The former WFWF Champion turns around. WACK. WACK. WACK. Down goes Thunder, Bennett pelting him over and over. The crowd loses it.
He hears the next crack from Crow, and Bennett turns his attention to the ring. He slides in, kendo stick in hand, and takes a swing at Crow, missing. Crow takes a shot at Bennett with the chair, misses. Both men swing, the weapons collide, nothing. Bennett goes to his knees and cracks Crow in the shin with the stick, stunning the International Champion. Another hit, this time the chair coming out of Crows hands.
Crow backs into the corner.
Cameron Stone: HE HAS HIM. GET THE BASTARD.
Bennett twirls the kendo stick and points it at Crow, in Home Run fashion. Crow, for the first time, has a somewhat concerned look on his face. But he looks down and sees something off to the side that peaks his interest. His face turns into a grin, as he raises his arms up in the air and shouts and laughs. He yells at Bennett.
Crow: DO IT, ACE. HIT ME. MAKE ME HURT.
Ace Bennett: With pleasure.
Bennett cocks back and takes a swing, cracking Crow in the head with a sickening thud. Crow falls to the mat.
DING DING DING.
Everyone in the arena boos. Ace looks around, confused, and then he sees the ref in the other corner, half on his feet, looking directly at him, seeing Ace crushing Crow.
Christa Adina: Here are your winners as a result of a disqualification…Solomon Crow and Thunder!
Samael Ahriman: **facepalming** Ugh. Idiot.
Alecia Matthews: You gave him the means.
Cameron Stone: Shush.
Bennett tosses the kendo stick on the ground, rolling his eyes, flipping the ref the bird. He starts walking towards Crow…
Cameron Stone: LOOK OUT!
Ace never heard the warning. From behind comes Thunder, Crows chair in hand, crushing Bennett in the back with the chair The fans are all but ready to throw trash into the ring.
Malakai is up, barely, and he goes to Thunder and spins him around and he is met with a steel chair of his own to the head for his efforts. Thunder throws the chair down to the ground, looking down at Malakai.
Alecia Matthews: If this is a sign of things to come with these four…
Cameron Stone: And throwing Trace Demon and Scarlett Quinn into it…
Samael Ahriman: Toss in the WFWF Championship for good measure…
Alecia Matthews: This is going to get uglier.
Samael Ahriman: A ton uglier.
Crow staring at everything from his seat in the corner, his belt on his lap, a smile in his face and his ever maniacal laugh being let out as the camera now focuses on Thunder, still staring down at Malakai as the camera pans out and we fade to black.

Massive shout outs to Progs, Bishop, Drakz, Cam, Mikes, Shawn, anyone else I might have left out and, for the ego-boost, myself for making the first Revolution of 2014 by far one of the best not only in terms of write ups but also angle development. Seriously some great stuff here that'd make me tune into the next episode if I was watching this. Bravo.
I'll be getting in touch with everyone in the next few days to talk about Superbrawl but from the way it's shaping up it's going to be a hell of a card and we're only one show into the buildup.
