Smackdown! Spoilers 10/18/13

Dark Match:

Prime Time Players beat Los Locales. Fun back and forth match. Titus O'Neil got the pin on Tyson Kidd with his big slam.

Smackdown:

SmackDown opens with Vickie Guerrero and Brad Maddox together. They talk about what Big Show did at the end of RAW on Monday. Daniel Bryan comes out to a big pop. Big Show's music hits but he doesn't come out and they don't know if he's here. WWE Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes and Goldust are out next.

- Luke Harper and Erick Rowan defeated The Miz and Kofi Kingston in a solid tag team match. Bray Wyatt watched the match from his rocking chair.

- Brie Bella defeated AJ Lee in a non-title match.

- Big Show comes to the ring through the crowd and says he's filed a lawsuit against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Maddox and Vickie come back out to confront him. Show says he has nothing to lose and hits Maddox with the knockout punch.

- CM Punk defeated Big E Langston.

- Josh Mathews interviews World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio in the ring about his match with John Cena at Hell In a Cell. Cena appears on the big screen and upsets Del Rio. Del Rio ends up taking Mathews out.

- The Usos defeated Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro when Los Matadores came out with El Torito to distract The Real Americans.

- Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes and Goldust defeated The Shield in the main event.

So this was some really shotty reporting. The website failed to mention that after the Punk/Langston match, ryback and axel came out to jump punk, and Langston turned face by making the save apparently to a HUGE pop.

The top balcony and a lot of the hard camera side is draped off. Very unusual for Sprint Center, but with the switch from RAW to Smackdown, I'm sure some people opted out of their tickets.

Dark match:

Los Locales v. The Primetime Players. A couple smarks think they're cool because they know who are under the masks. PTP picks up the victory with Titus's Sky-High powerbomb.

Main Event taping:

Zigggler v. Ambrose for the United States title. Great back and forth with near falls. Ambrose retains with the inverted DDT.

Tons of Funk & Santino v. 3MB. Heath Slater has bitch tits. Santino hits Jinder with the Cobra and it's over.

R-Truth vs. Damien Sandow. Okay match from both. Sandow wins with the Full Nelson Slam.

Fandango v. The Great Khali. An instant classic. Khali picks up the victory with the Chop as Fandango flies off the top turnbuckle.

Smackdown:

Vickie and Maddox are out for an opening promo. I literally can't hear Vickie over the boos. Daniel Bryan interrupts and teases a Big Show arrival. The Rhodes Bros come out and all three are put into a match with the Shield later.

* The Wyatts v. Kofi & Miz. We get robbed of a full Wyatts entrance. Luke murders Kofi with a lariat for the win. Bray cuts a promo on Miz being afraid.

* Brie Bella v. AJ Lee. Not a bad match. Tamina and Nikki fight at ringside, creating the distraction for Bri to defeat AJ with the facebuster.

Big Show arrives through the crowd in a hoodie and gets in the ring. Show reveals he has filed a lawsuit against The Authority. Maddox & Vickie hit the ring. Maddox gets in Show's face and gets KOed. Show stares down Vickie and leaves.

* CM Punk v. Big E. Great match from both. Big E dominated with power moves and a half crab. Punk mounts a comeback and wins with the G2S. Heyman, Ryback, and Axel enter and cut a promo. They hit the ring to attack Punk, but Big E steps in the ring to a big pop and cleans house for Punk.

Josh Matthews interviews Del Rio. ADR calls Cena the ultimate gringo, Juanito, and soft. ADR slaps the cross arm breaker on Josh to prove what he can do to Cena's injured arm.

* The Real Americans v. The Usos. Cesaro does the swing on Jimmy (I think) for 27 seconds. Awesome. Los Matadores interrupt. Torito gores Zeb a couple times. The distraction allows the Usos to pick up the victory with the Superfly Splash.

* Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes & Goldust v. The Shield. Entertaining match throughout. Lots of great spots. Reigns accidentally spearing the ring steps, a double underhook superplex from Ambrose, Rollins powerbombing Cody from the apron into Goldust and over the announce table. The faces comeback and Bryan goes apeshit. Bryan pins Ambrose after the flying knee.

I don't catch the dark match with Randy Orton. They've sent me home happy and I want to beat the traffic.

Glad to hear Big E turned face, hope they use his five gimmick now.
