Is it true that DC Direct is shutting down?

Yes he’s very bulky and his hips are so loose he moves like Elvis. Is it true that DC Direct is shutting down? It’s supposed to be last I heard. I am not 100% sure but these figures might have been the last. There was supposed to be another wave of the Animated figures after this wave and a JL Essentials boxed set, but I am reading they’ve been canceled. Although my preorders haven’t been canceled as of yet.

I saw others do it with the blue & grey variant on Instagram, but here’s the McFarlane Animated Batman with the DC Direct Animated Armored Batman Bruce Wayne Head.

My Walmart pre orders for the dc McFarlane Dark Knight Metal wave is still delayed, with an email it’s pushed back till 10/28 (initially showed 10/1 as the shipping date). Wonder if the Merciless Wave I preordered through them will be delayed as well (still shows 10/15)

Don’t mind the delay if I actually get them, helps my wallet

PJ just looking at your Batman TAS setup, I came to realize that the line was lacking several characters. Off the top of my head I could think of several that should have been made. Bruce Wayne Dick Grayson Tim Drake Renee Montoya Rupert Thorne The New Batman Adventures Mad Hatter Ubu Barbra Gordon Dick Grayson Robin from the flashback in Old Wounds. Retro Batman from flashback scenes, GCPD SWAT team member Mo Lar and Curl from The New Batman Adventures

Renee Montoya The New Batman Adventures Mad Hatter They were made. I just don’t have them. Montoya was in a 5 or 6 pack with a bunch of Rogues. I had it preordered but canceled it before it’s release because I had most of the villains in the set already so I was basically spending $150 or whatever it cost for just her and I couldn’t justify it. But no secret identities were made. The closest we got was a pea size Bruce head in the Batman expressions pack for an unmasked Batman.

I hate how they try to grab your money for one figure that's only included in stuff you already have. They should have packed Montoya with Bullock to be honest

I just picked up the 2020 Hallmark BtAS Batman and ‘66 Batmobile ornaments from the Hallmark store. I still want to get the Aquaman riding his seahorse Storm.

I love how Kenner/Hasbro kept using the same Wayne Manor/Batcave set for years. From Batman Returns all the way until they lost the license. Pretty crazy how long of a lifespan on the market it had

I guess they bought the molds from Hasbro? Edit. I found a pic of the Mattel one

That's not the first time Mattel released other companies former products as their own. Back in 1989 Mattel bought out Mettoy who made the Corgi brand of diecast. Mattel would later go on to reuse some of the former Corgi cars as Hot Wheels cars.

Ahh Corji. I remember my father would go to his hobby shop (Richard’s Hobby Town) It looked like it was a converted Church that later became an arcade. Anyway he would go there at least twice a month and every time he would take me with him and it seemed like every other time I would get another Corji ‘66 Batmobile. I would wear those tires out playing with the Batmobile every day both inside and outside.
