I love Retro Batman. My wife had an extra one on her desk at her office. But when she move her office to a new building the box he was in was lost by FedEx. it also had her Tick Arthur figure, a SL Andy Van Slyke and many pics of our daughter in the box. Of course all the work boxes made it no problem. lol

I don't think he holds a world record, but I can say he probable holds a million dollar bank account. I swear whatever job you have, you better keep it and cherish it like it's the ark of the convenient. That is an impressive DC/Batman collection! Not to mention you have every Elite to date! So whats next PJ? You've obviously road space mountain and held all the belts. So a Marvel collection? or Hot toys? Transformers G1?

Thanks. Job?! Who has a job? I've been a Mr Mom for the past 15 years. I was a UPS driver and when our daughter was born I an took the month off. I had used 4 of my 5 vacation weeks which had been OK'd by my center manager months earlier. But a week before our daughter was born that center manager was transferred so when my wife went into labor and I called out saying I was taking them he tried to stop me until both of the Center Supervisors confirmed it had been approved. Well, he still didn't like it and when I came back he wanted to punish me so he put me on a route I had never done before.
And sure enough my first I delivered to a house that had messed up stair. They were basically slate slabs sitting on 2x4's. They looked normal and when I walked up them there was no issues but when I stepped in one to go down the 2x4 rotated and I turned awkwardly so not to fall and messed up L3, L4 & L5 and haven't worked since because even after the surgery my back has gotten worse the discs above and below the ones I had surgery on have ruptured plus my according to the doctor that did the surgery 15 years ago told me in recovery that he wasn't going to ever clear me to go back because my back looked like that of a 65-70 year old with all the arthritis that he noticed when he was inside my back. I was 30 when this all happened. So I haven't worked since Oct 6 1998. Thankfully my wife has a great job. I'm just glad she didn't quit it like I was pressuring her to do when she was pregnant. lol

Jeez, I'm sorry to hear that. But at least you were able to get the medical care you needed then and everything was took care of the proper way. In today's economy it would of been a nightmare. But You really do have an impressive collection, you should try out for some of those awards Batman collector occasions give out, I'm sure you would win one of them. I mean you even have Adam West's autograph, not many can say that.

Meeting West that day was a great day. My wife and I were dating at the time and she was going to Fordham University. While we were talking on the phone one night she mentioned that he was speaking at the University then next day...So I said screw work I was coming up. The next morning I left the house about 4am (I lived in NJ about an hour away from her) And her commute to the Bronx took anywhere from 1-2 hours. I hadn't called out sick, because whenever someone tried to call out sick they were pressured and harassed to come to work anyway and I just wasn't in the mood to play that game with them. Anyway we went to her classes until it was time for him to speak. Afterwards there was a crowd around him so we just went to the cafeteria for lunch. The next thing you know there was a hand in french fries as I heard a voice ask if this seat was taken. So I looked up and got all tongue tied saying..."you're...you're..." And the reply was "Yes I'm Batman" so he sat down and talked for a couple minutes and signed my Fordham paper until he was surrounded again.
When I got home my mother said Bob from UPS called asking where I was and she said as far as I know he's at work. She then said about 30 minutes later he was at our door, because he drove the two routes between UPS and my house thinking I was in an accident because it was so unlike me not to be at work. lol
The next day when I went to work he asked me where I was and I told him. He then asked why I didn't call out and I told him that too. I knew either way (even before talking to my mother) that when ai had decided to go meet West over going to work there were going to be consequences...and my "punishmet" was he stuck me back in the Unload for two weeks. But it was well worth it. lol
I also have another auto that my brother-in-law got for me at a comic con I couldn't attend.

I am now off all pain killers as he keeps my back pain free. Will my back hurt? Yes.....if I miss appointments. As long as I stick to a twice a month regimen....I am good. If I go more often, I feel even better. Just a suggestion, as I know many people are VERY skeptical of chiropractors......I know cuz I was one of them.

I used to go to one when I was much younger, but he's long retired now. Back in high school I had slipped a disc and I went to him for years. Surprising the disc I had hurt in high school wasn't any of the ones injured at UPS. lol

whoa.....thats an awesome Batman collection PJ.....
I was just thinking in work today why cant Mattel do a line based on the 90s Batman movies next year similar to what they have done with the 60s show this year?if they could sort out the absolute NIGHTMARE thats were the rights issues here then surely they could swing one for the movies.
similar style and lineup
Keaton Batman from the 89 movie Nicholson Joker Devito Penguin Batman vs Catwoman 2 pack. Carrey as The Riddler(Jumpsuit) Batman & Robin 2 pack(Kilmer and O Donnell) Batmobile 89
oh yes....I would love that.

They said Keaton is coming in their new 4" scale. Which I am happy with as it'll display nicely with that Hot Wheels Keaton Batmobile. And speaking of the Keaton movies I just purchased the first one on bluray at WalMart for $7.

I have to be on the lookout for the 4" Keaton Batman he will look so cool displayed on top of my Batman collection shelf. Speaking of Batman bluray, I bought the 4 Burton/Schumacher Boxset at Best Buy last month for $10 when they had a sale.

I wish Batman had his own thread and DC had their own. Seems Batman dominates the convo.
