PJ can you tell me any info on the DCUC Clark Kent figure? I don’t recall them having a Clark Kent in the DCUC series. They did have him in a 2-Pack with Superman in the earlier 6” DC Superheroes line. But it used the lean Two-Face/Question body which I felt was way to thin for Clark Kent. I was surprised we never got a Bruce Wayne with that body also.

PJ can you tell me any info on the DCUC Clark Kent figure? This was the best Clark Kent figure. I wonder if the clothes can fit on a DCUC Superman figure.

I watched the David Vonner interview last night. Interesting comments. If it's true he isn't with Mattel anymore, I could see why.

All my upcoming McF figs from Amazon got pushed back to just before Halloween. Seems others had it as well from Facebook posts. That’s alright, all things considered.

As did mine. Well the 2 Batman and the Joker anyway.
The Palisades Center Target had the Spin Master Batcave set for $44 and I had $18.18 in savings from Target Circle so I used that and it came out to under $25.

Mattel corporate bs power play. I'm just reading between the lines and based on my experience from the corporate world. Guy comes in has an idea for a different department, the other department feels insulted like they don't know what they are doing. Then corporate does some reshuffling and look he gets moved to a higher position and who is let go. I saw it all the time.

When he showed the guy the figure, he should have been floored and started looking for a way to make it. It's just as likely his or someone else's reaction was, "Who does this guy think he is?" while knowing they were incapable of better or even equal work themselves.

I wonder if the Mattel DC designer who didnt like David Vonner showing off his own designs is the same guy who is responsible for crap like this

With the exception of the bone spikes not being ripped through the costume I liked that figure.

Now my Batman Who Laughs with the wings has been pushed to Oct 28 also. Robin and Azrael (black costume) still haven’t been pushed back yet. But I am sure they will. lol

DCUC was better than Toy Biz Marvel Legends and then Hasbro Marvel Legends for a little while, but once Hasbro improved their aesthetic (like when they dropped the awful ball joint hips) and Mattel kept recycling the same original buck the Horsemen sculpted, that changed. It's my understanding this Batman was designed sometime after DCUC was done and after Hasbro Marvel Legends had started, so if they'd used his design, we'd potentially be as far along with DC (Mattel) as Marvel (Hasbro). Obama Superman, Batman vs Superman Lex Luthor, Carrie Kelly Robin and Mutant Leader killed the DC Multiverse line. I swear there is a boatload of Mutant Leader Figures at my local Ollie's for $14.99. They will be there till the world ends

Yeah, all my McFarlane stuff is pushed back to late October and November. I think I have everything preordered through Amazon but Robin from the Merciless wave was sold out. I just ordered one off another site the other day. I’ll want all three but have no idea how I will achieve this online without resorting to eBay...
I know I am waiting on the Death Metal wave from Wal-Mart too... with my Decade of Domination and AEW trio

Funny thing is from my experience the people least receptive to ideas from other departments are usually in company meetings trying to push more collaboration between departments. It’s all a show and an ego trip. The worst part is if you pitch ideas they’ll bury it, but if you don’t pitch ideas they’ll say you’re not a team player.

Amazon pushed another of the remaining three figures back to the 28 this morning. And of course my Spin Master 12” DC Fandom Exclusive Batman that was supposed to be delivered 2 weeks ago then got pushed back to being delivered on last Monday which again got pushed to being delivered today was (surprise to nobody) pushed back to next week now. Amazon sucks.
