I picked up the McFarlane Arkham Asylum Batman and Joker this afternoon at Walmart. I found them in the electronics area where they have the Pops and the other specialty figures. My two closest WalMarts doesn’t have that speciality section because they don’t sell pops Mego or Neca in those two stores.

That Joker looks like it can go with McFarlane Mortal Kombat 11 figures.

Only real problem I have with him is the cape is a bit too long, or the material is JUST hard enough to affect his standing...otherwise I’m fine with him. They had 3, I got the only one without wonky eyes.

Well just like everyone else, I grabbed Joker today. Skipped on Batman.
I admit I was skeptical about this Joker from online pics. But I was wrong. It's absolutely fantastic in hand... I added a cane I had that my friend gave me years ago. Grabbed Wonder Woman too. Again, I wasn't sure about her from online pics as I thought the face was off. But once I saw it in person, I could see the resemblance... Do wish she came with fists or her sword and shield though.

Once I get an extra of the Arkham Batman I am going to try and do a head swap with the DCD Arkham Infected Bruce Wayne head.

I don’t really love the McFarlane Arkham Batman head sculpt as much as I thought I would. That Joker however is going to be an instant buy.

I had a random thought about Kenner's Superman TAS line while feeding my brother's dog today. I realized that Kenner never gave any depth in villain figures like they did with the Batman TAS lines. The line was like 98% Superman and 2% villains. I think if Kenner would have done more in terms of villains instead of gimmicky Superman figures the line would have been more successful. I don't think it would have hurt them to include The Flash since he was in one of the Episodes where he raced Superman around the world.

Will there be future Arkham figures in the McFarlane line?? Depends on how these first couple sell, I’d imagine. Most of the rest of this yr seems dedicated to the White Knight/Metals releases...

Arkham Batman's eyes look much better in hand compared to the pictures. I was going to buy a Joker at Target, but got street dated for 6/7, smh.

Will there be future Arkham figures in the McFarlane line?? Probably not for a while. We've seen leaks for what's coming the rest of the year into next, and there aren't any more AA figures on it so far. White Knight Batman White Knight Joker White Knight Azrael Dawn Breaker Devastator Murder Machine Red Death Grim Knight Batman Flashpoint Batman Red Hood Modern Flash Modern Joker And from looking at that list, it feels like someone needs to remind Tord McFatsack that this is supposed to be a DC set, not a Batman set. And that's coming from someone who loves Batman.

And that's coming from someone who loves Batman. I cant see anything in that list Id even consider buying. On top of that, the distribution is beyond terrible. I thought getting stuck with 424 Supergirl figures from Mattel were bad. At least they filled the spot on the shelf. Every store around me has just the animated Batman on the shelf with the exception of 1 Target, its pegged with Green Lantern & Harley Quinn. I really dont see this being a relationship that last very long.
