I've seen some attire over the years that i didn't really like, but the only thing that really really bugs me (at least that immediately comes to mind) is the lack of kneepads or lack of wrist tape. People that fall into either category just look so awkward.

Pretty much all of Kaitlyn's attires since late 2012-now. Idk why she went from bright colors to dull ugly as ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) attires. Stuff like this needs to be burned!: Yeah exactly what I think! I mean surely it's so much harder to move around the ring in those attires she's been wearing recently than her old gear.

HHH's biker shorts in 2003 when he tore his groin. He easily could have pulled out an old pair of tights from 98/99 outta his closet or had longer tights made but instead wore compression shorts under his regular attire. Looked like crap IMO.

He needs a logo or something. Even then it is boring *like Orton*.. It just annoys me how you say that with Lita in your signature

I've said this 1,000 or more times in my life: trunks are one of my biggest pet peeves in pro wrestling. The "they look professional" argument has no meaning for me. I simply know that I don't like seeing a guy in brightly-colored underwear that will likely twist askew at some point, showing us his butt. ![(puke)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sick.png) Trunks ARE professional. No offense, but you sound like one of those types of fans who are ashamed because you're worried that your friends will call you "gay" or something for watching wrestling.

Man, a lot of you guys hate the classic look that I love. Maybe it's a generational difference, but I love low knee pads and trunks/boots with the wrestler's initials inscribed. I also like white wrist tape and no knee pads. And robes/entrance jackets. Here's what I don't like: The Rock's stupid open calf boots: ![http://www.worldwrestlingwear.com/Rock.jpg](http://www.worldwrestlingwear.com/Rock.jpg) The Big Show's stupid camo (also see Dudleys and Cena). If your gimmick isn't military related, you shouldn't be wearing camo. ![http://cdn.bleacherreport.net/images_root/article/media_slots/photos/000/871/199/ER13_Photo_114_original.jpg?1369020550](http://cdn.bleacherreport.net/images_root/article/media_slots/photos/000/871/199/ER13_Photo_114_original.jpg?1369020550) Trendy, baggy wrestling pants. Sure they seemed cool when Tajiri wore them in 1998, but that was 15 years ago. Now they're cliche. ![http://elucha.com/productos/215/bp023.jpg](http://elucha.com/productos/215/bp023.jpg) Tights and trunks with tribal designs. In fact any tribal (including tattoos). It's trendy and cliche. ![http://www.elucha.com/productos/725/wrestlingtights_lt071B.jpg](http://www.elucha.com/productos/725/wrestlingtights_lt071B.jpg) ![http://www.elucha.com/productos/646/TR039large.png](http://www.elucha.com/productos/646/TR039large.png) Always thought the Rocks open calf boots were dumb as well, don't get why he wants to wear them.

I don't care if people call me gay, or think I am for that matter. However, I've never been fond of seeing the pelvic area of the male anatomy, nor do I make any apologies for that. In fact, one of my major turn-offs with a favorite show of mine, Breaking Bad, was constantly seeing Bryan Cranston in his tighty-whities. When I think "professional", I think of attire like Brock Lesnar's becuase it resembles that of actual combat sport competitors like boxing/MMA. I've simply seen too many wrestlers with their butt cheeks hanging out over 30+ years of watching wrestling.

I never liked Undertaker's look when he first came back as the Deadman in 2004. The leather pants and singlet top just didn't fit the part of what the character was supposed to be. I disagree with this. Imo that Undertaker attire/look was by far the most impressive from the whole evolution of his character next to his original long hair with grey glove look. And it sure as hell was better than his current washed up look. And Big E is no worst than Cody when he bared his legs. worked best in his 01 run ![http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-6sdghOmy04I/TfHpxijJxTI/AAAAAAAABEM/loMAHcI3yys/s400/The-Undertaker-Vs-Triple-H.jpg](http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-6sdghOmy04I/TfHpxijJxTI/AAAAAAAABEM/loMAHcI3yys/s400/The-Undertaker-Vs-Triple-H.jpg) It's traditional Pro Wrestling attire, plus it still looks better than what your boy Shawn Michaels wore for six years. Which I'll never understand. They have no real world counterpart. You don't see martial artists, boxers, or freestyle wrestlers competing in their underwear. How that became a pro wrestling staple is beyond me. And while I hated HBK's chaps, I prefer anything over trunks, even Cena's silly jorts. try wrestling in long tights, its similar to trying to do anything in skinny jeans, it restricts movement, and whether your a grappler, or high flyer, you need trunks to help your hips/knees move freely. When I think "professional", I think of attire like Brock Lesnar's becuase it resembles that of actual combat sport competitors like boxing/MMA. I've simply seen too many wrestlers with their butt cheeks hanging out over 30+ years of watching wrestling. try seeing people WRESTLE with them, or try a spring board, it just compliacates things

I competed in tights a few times (competitive wrestling, not pro) and never had a problem doing a full split in them. If anything, they improved circulation and safety.

6 pages and no one mentioned Hulk Hogan wearing Tied eye when he came back to the WWF. Hulk Hogan is yellow shorts for ANYONE that was a fan of his in the eighties. To wear the long tights is NOT Hulk Hogan. When he was Hollywood the long tights were perfect for him. But to be the WWF's American hero he needs to return in the yellows.

I think he's had a few issues with his hips, maybe even including hip replacement, or some other surgery? The long tights might have been out of necessity....

People who wear trunks that don't have the body for it, or no longer have the body for it. I'll always applaud Hogan for switching to long tights when he was getting older. Flair never switched.
Cody Rhones without kneepads and overly tight black trunks, as well as his recent trunks with the outlines on the waist and the leg holes. Trunks are too similar to brief underwear as it is, you don't need to add a flippin' waistband to them.
Anyone with non-symmetrical tape or elbow pads and knee pads. Once again with Cody, the wrist tape on only the right hand just looks silly. Alex Riley does it too. Triple H tends to have wrist tape on one arm and the full tape-glove-thing on the other. Somebody I was watching recently had a knee brace on one leg and a knee pad on the other leg. No pad on the one with the brace. Why you'd not have a knee pad on a knee that was hurt is beyond me. Braces are fine, just wear matching pads under the brace.
Personally, I like kickpads. Attire for the sake of attire has never bothered me. Too much of this business involves making yourself stick out from the crowd, so if wearing boot covers your fighting style doesn't need can help get you over, have at it. Just so long as they go with the rest of your outfit, it doesn't matter.
