I've said this 1,000 or more times in my life: trunks are one of my biggest pet peeves in pro wrestling. The "they look professional" argument has no meaning for me. I simply know that I don't like seeing a guy in brightly-colored underwear that will likely twist askew at some point, showing us his butt.

It's traditional Pro Wrestling attire, plus it still looks better than what your boy Shawn Michaels wore for six years.

Great Khali's red pants. His dark red pants were stale, but his red pants all he wears. How can someone's attire be stale? Chris Sabin's attire always annoys me,he looks like when Dolph Ziggler walks to the ring, except actually wearing it mid-match

Undertaker's gold/snake skin pants he wore at Survivor Series 2000 against Kurt Angle.

The Big Show's stupid camo (also see Dudleys and Cena). If your gimmick isn't military related, you shouldn't be wearing camo. This comment has upset me, I own camo tights, yet I don't have a military gimmick. I chose camo because no one else in the promotion I'm in doesn't use camo, also I own a lot of camo pants which I wear regularly.

Undertaker's gold/snake skin pants he wore at Survivor Series 2000 against Kurt Angle. I remember those, apparently Undertaker had lost his gear in an airport and he had to borrow the Godfathers. Don't know how much truth there is to that. I don't really believe it to be honest.

Cena's jorts. Anyone in camo. Anyone who doesn't wear kneepads...except for Ahmed Johnson who wore four...which was worse. I remember seeing Ahmed with all his pads and thinking wtf?

HBK's from Survivor Series 2002. I know they were unfinished, but they were God awful.

i get annoyed watching guys like aj styles and sting go out wrestling in tshirts. also another infraction for sting is when he doesnt even bother to tuck his tights into his boots.
another peeve i have is when guys like daniel bryan wear the kickpad covers without kickpads beneath or they wear running sneakers in the ring that dont even look like wrestling boots.

Uh, can't say I recall that attire... The mental image you have instilled will forever be burned into my mind. "It's not that he's ugly, he's just...RATTY!"

I always thought the old school Horsemen guys wore their kneepads below the knee so that they could cheat - they all did knee drops to the head, which "if it were real" would hurt the opponent MORE than dropping a padded knee to the head.... see the illustration; I believe I've also heard it said that some wrestlers wear them that way to make their lower legs look "thicker" - to cover the appearance of "chicken-legs".... sounds plausible to me.... Personally, I love the look - and if I was to begin a wrestling career - you'd better believe my kneepads would be just below the knee. My biggest pet peeve is guys that wear jewelry, earrings, nose-rings, eye-rings, even tongue rings (yea, I'm looking at you - CM Punk). Because "if it were real" - you know guys would cheat and just RIP them out of each other's heads, or use them as weapons, and they would most likely be banned from the ring like any other metal or sharp object. The worst offender - Jeff Hardy.... why wouldn't people just choke the hell out of him with his stupid necklace? And then rip his earrings out and poke him in the eye with them? BTW - the excessive body paint is way up there on my list too - does that give the wrestler an unfair advantage to slip out of submission holds? I always wondered about Rick Steiner's headgear - should that have been legal? I mean, it is the traditional "wrestling" gear, and all - but you don't see other guys out there wearing that stuff.... This always irritated the hell out of me, too... and I'm not sure why.... And do we all agree that this just looked ridiculous? Here is a great item that I included in my large post last weekend, which was mysteriously moved to the "Pro-Wrestling - Other Feds" board.... I like the attire, but I have no clue how they put this on: My favorite piece of "probably-should-be-illegal" ring attire..... Greg "The Hammer" Valentine's shin brace.... and the ingenious way he turned it backwards right before applying the figure-four leglock to intensify the hold. That was just wrestling gold right there.... and he gets a pass, since it was actually used as part of his "ring psychology", and Monsoon was always complaining that it should be outlawed - which made it part of his heel persona.

I hate the fact that a lot of indie guys wear kickpads nowadays. In my opinion they are way over used in wrestling. It was pretty cool back in the day when it was a unique thing when RVD and Jericho wore plain black kickpads with their names neatly wrote down the sides. I mean, what are they even used for in wrestling? They use them in MMA to kick kickboxing bags so that it takes the sting out of the kick when your leg hits the bag. Don't understand the use of them in wrestling unless it's to some how deliver less of an impact when they kick each other. That's just it there is no use for it in wrestling, I think it's now used as more as an accessory to complete the costume. It's matching your sneakers to your hat.... Or in this case your boots to your underwear

I imagine Jeff Hardy's body paint has to piss other wrestlers off, since it's still wet. And looks stupid as too.

Man, I have a ton.... When HBK switched from tights to leather chaps/pants....hated it at first but got used to it. HBK's brown unfinished tights Big E's singlet- needs more to the leg Though I've learned it's the proper way, I still hate the low knee pads When Jericho switched from tights to trunks....hated it at first but got used to it. Anyone who doesn't wear kneepads Antonio Cesaro's thigh wraps or whatever they are Rick Steiners Head gear... That just made him look like a goof Zack Ryder's half tights Kurt Angles gear since he has been in TNA.... He had way better singlets in WWE Jeff Jarrett's orange, white and teal gear Flash Funk Farrooq's trojan warrior gear
..... That's all I can think of for now.

You don't see martial artists, boxers, or freestyle wrestlers competing in their underwear. How that became a pro wrestling staple is beyond me. And while I hated HBK's chaps, I prefer anything over trunks, even Cena's silly jorts.

I don't like The Shield's gear. It looks cool for when they're cutting promos and stuff, but it's kinda stupid that they would wrestle in that. Same with The Wyatts.
