The paint would just wipe away every time I swipe across it with my brush. og, did you use testors? you should stir then shake your paint before you paint with it, sometimes the paint seperates & you need to mix it together again before you paint it.

to tell you the truth, i've used those lil jars for a long time now. then again, i haven't been customizing for a while. i have that 10 color pack from testors. i just need to refil on the red and black. but i added some water to it to thin it out because it got really chunky, but its all good for now. it'll hold until i need to get more. before you use your testors you should shake the bottle. if you see the colors seperated you should stir it with paint with the end of your brush until its all waterey again. then you shake it. yeah, i know about the shake and stir. but 1 is like completely empty. gone gone except a small dab for touching up spots. thats why i would stick with getting the small bottles. lol.

wait, im confused, why do you wanna stick to the tiny bottles? because i don't need too much paint. the big bottles would be too much for me plus i have that tray that came with 10 tiny bottles. if i get a big one, i can't put it in the tray.

I use testors paint markers and testors paint jars. They work wonders.

Hmmm...apparently my hobby shops around me doesn't carry testor's acrlyic either. I went out of the loop and bought Tamiya. Pretty big jug compared to testors.

Is tamiya paint enamel or acrylic? I think I might try to get some because they supposedly have a really good skintone color.

Ok I am currently in the process of making a custom Brock Lesnar figure using a Finishing moves Austin body as well as a custom Crystal and need some ideas on good paints to use for their hair and skin tones. I would also like to know the best way of making head gear accessories for the customs such as headbands, durags, turbans and hats.

Actually I am making a Layla not Crystal. What is a good skin tone color for her. I am guessing a blend of 2 mixxes but not sure.

For layla's skintone you could use a brown and then adjust the shade of the brown with white.

when you sand off a pant leg (EX. Making a DA Big Show into an Andre) what's the best paint to match the original tone?

when you sand off a pant leg (EX. Making a DA Big Show into an Andre) what's the best paint to match the original tone? So you sanded on the skintone which made it lighter? If that's the case you can't really fix that. You have to make a new skintone altogether.

1 drop of water to 3 drops of paint.

This is how I thin paint. I put a little gob of paint on my paint tray and then I keep putting water in the paint gob until it is very thin and is thoroughly mixed with water. If you're using Testors then you don't even have to thin it because it's already thin.
