Not really. Batman and Superman are the Cena and Mysterio of DC collecting. Lots of whining about it back when it was DCUC. You seem to know it all from what I have read in this thread. So why even ask a question if you have all the answers there know it all I clearly do not know the answer to the question posed in the first post that is why i posted the question do you not know how questions work dang

-____- How is it not in the budget? They can make new molds for a Big Boss Man torso that gets used once ever but can't reuse dope taped wrists/fists? C'mon, son. It should've been there from the jump. Punk's tattoos eat into the budget for each set, even the Basic black ones do. Thats why his E20 figure didn't come with a shirt like his previous ones.

Compared to Punk, other than his tattoos, Orton really has no other deco on his figures. Punk has his detailed trunks and boot designs as well.

Mattel has said in the past each series has a set amount of colors that can be used to keep in the budget. I forget what the numbers were but they had posted it on this site if you want to look up their old posts. It was something like this... Basics Series were allotted an average of 3 colors per figure. Elite Series were allotted an average of 6 colors per figure. Defining Moments were allotted up to 9 colors per figure. So right off the bat Punk uses 5 colors in his tattoos alone. (Blue, green, yellow, orange, red) Orton uses 1 or two (black, red if they color the rose)

I think that would look awesome. It wouldn't even cost that much more.

They already charge almost 20 per figure which is much more than the average action figures. Look at what is it necca? They have little articulation yes, but the detail on their stuff is amazing. They only charge 15? It's just ridiculous that budget is an excuse. ALSO.. DC is their product as well, and I see them warming pegs as well. All the extra molds that go into their figures I'm sure costs a lot more to do than a wrestling figure that they pretty much all use the same mold for.

As reuse heavy as the wwe line is, DCUC is waaaaaaay worse. When I quit following it, they had like, two or three body molds and they reused them for everybody.

DC warming? lol with the exception of the 3.75" DKR line they can't even get them on the pegs fast enough. As soon as the Batman or DC unlimited cases hit the pegs around here they are gone by the next day. As for the WWE, Yes FLEXFORCE was their top selling line for the first 2 years. What people here can't seem to understand is Mattel bases their sales on what the retailers buy from them...not what we buy as retailers. And for the first two years every retailer (Supermarkets and pharmacies included) ordered way more FF figures from them over Legends, EG, DM, Basics & Elites. Because they were the cheapest line which is what retailers ordered. That's why the DM, EG & ESR were all cancelled. Because retailers didn't want to pay for the higher end product. Once retailers decided they weren't selling they stopped ordering them and FF was cancelled by Mattel.
Legends failed because they overproduced them. L1 & L2 were released at the same time as the KMart HoF figures which were the exact same figures as Series 1 & 2 with a cardboard plaque. TRS's Legends 2-Packs were grossly over produced. My local TRU must have had at least 35 cases of those before they sold out. (Their first shipment was 25 cases) With Jakks this store never had more than 3 of any CSTT set. So if you just compare 30 cases of Mattel Legends to CSTT sets this one store that equals out to Mattel breakdown to 30 cases = 180 pieces of 1 assortment of the same 3 sets which was 60 of each. Jakks breakdown to 30 cases = 180 pieces which was 10 assortments of 30 different sets which was 9 of each set.

I don't see the big deal. Of all the crying about Mattel wwe figures, this is the least important. WHEN WILL WE GET FLEX FORCE BACK?!?!??!?

I still regret passing up that Hawkman when I saw it in the store.

Those DC Unlimited lines only have like 2-3 figures per wave. And come with very few accessories or none at all. So you can either have 6 figures per wave every second month with accessories, or 2-3 figures every 3 months with hardly any accessories.

Actually there's a DC Unlimited and a Batman Unlimited so you are getting 4-6 figures at a time between the 2 lines. DC Unlimited Series 1 Superman 52 Flash 52 Hawkman 52
Batman Unlimited series 1 Batman Batgirl Penguin
Batman series 2 Planet X Batman DKR Batman
DC Unlimited series 2 52 Wonder Woman Injustice Batman
DC Unlimited series 3 Aquaman 52 Darkseid 52 Injustice Superman Injustice Joker
Next is Beware the Batman Kelly Jones Vampire Batman Injustice Green Lantern I forget the rest.

They obviously had a way bigger budget for Hawkman than for the WWE line. That being said, the difference between painted/molded tape is pretty meh to me. The TNA line had the molded tape and it was cool but not earth-shattering.

I definitely think they should've done this by now. Only problem is that once they do it, it's going to make the other Punks we have look bad (lol). I love the hand/wristape of that figure.
