I really want to take some of my Elites out of the packaging and display loose, but I don't want to damage the packaging. How would I do this?

Cut the tape on the side and open the flap. Then you can still reseal it

yep, there are 2 pieces of tape that hold the right side (if your looking at the front) of the package....take a small knife or box cutter and slice those, then you can easily open the side flap of the box and remove the plastic/figure

Cut the tape with a razor. The figure might be held in place with rubber bands also. Just cut them off and pull them out carefully.

I've mastered the art of peeling the tape and removing the remaining residue from the packages. They also bother me so I go that route with my elites.
