My Batman and Robin came today! They are so cool. The faces look so good. The tags on the capes are kind of a pain in the ass, but I'm just going to leave them on. I didn't get any paint smudges or defects on my figures, I read on other places and saw on some youtube reviews that some people were getting paint smudges and defects, which is pretty common on Mattel figures, so I was pretty nervous having ordered this online and not being able to inspect it first like in a store, but I lucked out and it's perfect.
I can't wait to get the rest of the figures. I hope the rest are as detailed as Batman and Robin. I'm a little worried about The Joker, but I'll wait and hope that the finished product looks good.
Batman and Robin was one of my favorite shows to watch on re-runs as a kid, so to finally have these figures is really really cool.

I'm very happy with my set, and I just got around to bending the wires so they would fit properly in the Batmobile. Speaking of the figures, I found the Surf's Up! Batman for sale on eBay late last night:

I got my Batman and Robin in the mail today from spamS and I absolutely love them. This had to be one of my most wanted lines when I was a kid and I was so disappointed they never made them. But to have them now brings back so much nostalgia. I can't wait for the rest of them to come out. Honestly I think I'm most excited for Catwoman and Riddler.

According to my Amazon.com order status, Series 1 Batman should arrive in the mail this Saturday. The Riddler and The Penguin are grouped together for an August 19th shipment. Surf's Up! Batman and The Joker will probably be here by month's end. Oh, and my Batusi Batman shipped yesterday from MattyCollector.com, which means it could be here this time next week. It's an awesome feeling to finally see it all coming together.

It's currently in stock, and hopefully (most likely) this photo will be revealed to be as accurate as that second Joker prototype we've seen.

That first Batman pic looks great, but I think it is just like the Catwoman...The hand painted sculpt before the articulation has been added.

Why does Matty offer various shipping methods if they aren't going to follow them?! Just checked my Batusi order as I never received a confirmation email or shipping email. And it says my order shipped two days ago via USPS. This is the second order they ignored the shipping I picked as the last two have come USPS when I've chosen and was charged UPS shipping. And I think in both cases the UPS was about $1 more. So I paid for a more expensive service twice only to have them ship it with the cheaper service.

That first Batman pic looks great, but I think it is just like the Catwoman...The hand painted sculpt before the articulation has been added. It does look great, but what I should have said is that I still prefer the articulation and look of the MOC Batman figure. The final Joker has me worried; if the newer photo were just another hand-painted prototype without the articulation like Batman or Catwoman, I wouldn't worry since those appear to have been changed, but it looks like it's replacing the sculpt's original paint app. Also, I don't remember there being a discussion on the Catwoman prototype WITH articulation. I think it's a considerable upgrade, even without accounting for the articulation. Why does Matty offer various shipping methods if they aren't going to follow them?! I think the same happened to my order; I recall choosing UPS Ground during checkout, but my tracking suggests it will come via USPS. Weird.

my Batusi won't be here until next week between the 14-16. I really want to complain to them that I am paying for UPS shipping, but they are sending it via mail. This is the second order in a row they've done it on.
Chip - I would love for the show to get some blu ray DVD's...although Last year I recorded almost all (missing about 6-8 episodes. disc off the hub.
As for the Joker figure...Mattel said it would have his mustache sculpted under the makeup. and from a blown up pic of that Joker there's no sculpted mustache

I think that picture on Amazon is just an early mock-up, similar to that un-articulated Batman.

Does the singles Batman have wires in his cape? If he does, I won't even bother pulling him from the package.
