Just ordered the complete set from Amazon Batman, Surfs Up Batman, Riddler, Joker, Penguin, Catwoman & the 2 Pack. Since they all come in at different times it will be like getting surprises every so often for the next couple of months, lol.
my 2 pack should be here next week though, so i'm super excited for that

i wonder, if the first couple of series does well, if they will make more? Mr. Freeze, King Tut, Batgirl, etc. hell I'd like to see an Alfred, Commissioner Gordon & Chief O'Hara or maybe "Bruce Wayne" and "Dick Grayson"...Batman with the large bomb.
sooooo many possibilities
and I wonder if this resurgence of the series will lead to DVD releases, it's like the only thing i want more than anything that exists in the world right now

I got my Batman and Robin sets from Amazon yesterday and I couldn't be happier with them.
I'm not much of a DC/Marvel collector outside of LEGO, but I'm glad I chose to collect this line. They are definitely smaller in person than they appear in photos, but the likenesses are spot-on and the paint apps are clean for the most part. One Robin has a smudge under his eye mask and the other (the one I opened) has a small dot of paint missing from one sideburn. Nothing that can't easily be overlooked, though.
I love the flexibility of the capes, and thanks to PJ I now know to bend the wires before placing them in the Batmobile lol. I haven't had any issues with the articulation points outside of a little stiffness here and there. I'm just really pleased all-in-all with the effort by Mattel and I hope that the line continues into 2014. Also, here's to hoping Robin gets released on a singles card in the near future.

When did you order your 2-pack from Amazon? I ordered mine on May 11th and my Amazon account still says it hasn't shipped and won't be here until sometime between August 7-10. Other people who ordered way after me are saying they already got theirs. I don't understand. It was the only item in the order, too. So it's not like something else in the order is on a later pre-order and they are waiting to send all the items at once. It was 1 item ordered almost 3 months ago. I don't understand why people who ordered after me are already getting theirs.

did you order it directly from Amazon? Or was it a second party seller? If it wasn't actually Amazon then you have to wait until the seller gets it in. Or maybe the others ordered from second party sellers on Amazon who got them in?

The estimated delivery date is August 7-10. I want it nowwwwwwwww lol

I don't understand why people who ordered after me are already getting theirs. I placed my pre-order directly through Amazon on May 14th. It consisted of all six singles figures and two Batman and Robin 2-packs. I checked the 'Your Orders' page about a week and a half to two weeks ago and found that the 2-packs were scheduled to arrive on August 5th. Then, the shipping date moved up to Friday, August 2, earlier this week. I don't know what could have caused your order to be delayed. I've never had any problems ordering from Amazon, especially when it comes to shipping on a release date, but I'd bet your 2-pack shows up by the middle of next week at the latest. I'll be wishing you good luck.

If you used Prime 2-day shipping, I don't have an answer for that one.

Yikes, by the looks of the Mattel classic Joker, they really botched the crap out of the final product. THIS is the prototype image that they were showing for months: Recently, Amazon changed it to THIS picture: What happened to all of the sculpting on the face? What happened to all of the nicely painted details and the shading on the face? This figure really seems to have suffered from a case of "mass production cost cutting". The new picture looks REALLY bad.

Amazon sometimes gets a pic wrong. I'll wait to see official pics of a final product before I pass judgment.

did you order it directly from Amazon? Or was it a second party seller? If it wasn't actually Amazon then you have to wait until the seller gets it in. Or maybe the others ordered from second party sellers on Amazon who got them in? I found out what happened to my Batman and Robin 2-pack and why it's so late. I ordered my 2-pack on May 11th and like 2 weeks ago they told me the estimated delivery date was August 7-10 just like everybody else. But most of the people on here have already received theirs from Amazon even if they ordered AFTER I did. What happened was, I placed another order on July 30th for Elite 22 Kane and Basic 30 AJ Lee, and Amazon held my Batman and Robin 2-pack and COMBINED both orders into one shipment. The tracking numbers for both orders are identical. According to Amazon, it'll be here on Wednesday. So that's what the deal is with the delay. I mean, technically it's not late because they said August 7-10 the whole time, but when people started getting theirs early and I didn't, I was like "what's the deal with this". I've never had Amazon combine 2 separate orders into one shipment before. I have had one order come in MULTIPLE shipments before, but never the other way around. Usually Amazon is all about getting items to you as fast as possible even if it means sending some items early. I've had them break up one order into several shipments to get me at least some of the items early. I've never heard of them holding onto something longer than needed to combine two orders. It's not a big deal, and as I said, they are still operating within their original estimated delivery date....it's just not usually their style to not send something out as soon as it's ready.

Finally had time to open my Batman/Robin and Batmobile. I really dislike the wires in the cape, as well as the seat belts on the car, but overall I'm happy with them. I just ended up tucking the seat belts up inside the hollow doors.

Amazon has been combining my orders lately as well, It's happened twice so far. Most of the time they send everything to one warehouse then send everything out which might cause a small delay.
