I know I haven't been as active as I should be but I hope to change that this coming year. First, I would like some of you guys input on some things we could do to shake things up a little. What would you like to see as far as how to's, tutorials, Q's and A's? What customizer would you like to hear from the most for tips? I'll be excited to get the ball rolling with your help.

Show how you :
Sand , paint, seal shoulder joints so they wont paint rub. Extend legs or shorten. mixing skin tones. simple sculpting. Various parts switching from different brands.(jakks arms on mattels) pics of various customizers set ups.what paint and brushed they use most. What clear coat they like.
Also like ronin said a sub board for members who offer custom type sales.I really need print outs and decals.I would buy them.

I'd like to see skintone formulas like "to match HHH skin I used 4 parts brand A flesh paint, 1 part brand B red paint, 1 part brand C brown paint."
I'd also like to see how other people do their sculpting. What materials do they use, what sculpting tools, etc.

cleaning things up would make a huge difference. everything in it's proper place.
for instance, the main "CUSTOMS" forum should be where we display our stuff and nothing else. 1 thread per customizer. anything more and it gets deleted. why clutter things up with multiple threads from the same person? got a question about customizing? put it in "Customs Support Center". if things are put in the wrong place, they should be moved.
and i'm sure this has been discussed over and over, but we need to define the difference between the "fix-ups" thread and the "customs" forum. why are we going to 2 different places on the same site for customs? it's stupid. and yes, i'm guilty of posting in both.

Here you go, great place for tutorials - www.figurerealm.com/customtutorialcleaning things up would make a huge difference. everything in it's proper place. for instance, the main "CUSTOMS" forum should be where we display our stuff and nothing else. Also, this. Coming to this forum from other toy boards, the organizing is notably weird. Have one forum for: •Customs (everyone gets one thread to post their finished work) Then it can have these sub forums: •Work in Progress •Customs Help and Questions •Hire a Customizer

Guys. Ppl are after help. Instead of picking on ppl posting in the wrong part. How about just help them and say, hey, if your new, for future reference post this here,.....
Nothing feels more toxic and elitist me than ppl telling everyone what they have done wrong on something that really isn't that big of a deal....
