Finally pre-ordered it this week, was more excited for Fifa but got a bit of money and with it being so close its starting to feel exciting again.

I've played GTA IV on PC, put in IV on Xbox, hated it. Didn't remember it being that awful. So now I'm not so excited for GTA V...

I don't understand why everyone is saying that GTA IV sucked on the 360 compared to the PC. I'm much more of a PC gamer than a console gamer, yet I found GTA IV easier to play on the 360 than the PC. Is there any specific reason as to why people prefer GTA IV on the PC?

GTA IV was an awful console port on PC. Unless the guy just prefers having a modded game or something, I don't really see how much better it could be on PC. I, along with a lot of people had nothing but issues with the PC version.

Had to be the mods. Only reason I've even touch the PC version.

For me it was the car mods, and the fact I paid 3.99 during one of steams summer sales.

Despite the modding, the GTA IV PC version was a garbage port. Unstable framerates, and a lot of bugs. Rockstar games generally aren't too polished when they get ported over to the PC.
