Yeah but GTA4 was a pretty big disappointment. After Red Dead I am confident it will be great but guys, seriously. Just wait until it is out before making such assumptions.

I though GTA IV was great; I hope GTA V is equally good. I really really wish it was a PS4 launch title rather than an end of PS3 title though; I will love it (along with Rome Total War II) until the PS4 comes out but one game will likely be overshadowed by the console. I'll go back to it occasionally but I can't see myself playing it regularly beyond the three months before the new consoles come out. Perhaps I'll go back to it once I've done Watch Dogs & AC IV and got bored of FIFA 14 and the other sports game I'll get (and probably infamous 3 by then). I did go back to GTA IV about 2 years later when I'd got bored after 3 months; not being on the main console by then may hurt it though. Maybe they'll do a money off deal for upgrading to PS4 like they are for other games.
It'll be one of the best games of this generation, no doubt; I doubt it'll ever beat the #1 in my mind though (Fallout 3). If anything I worry it'll be a tad too big, meaning I'll miss stuff!

I'm torn on GTA IV, it's good in some ways but terrible in others. The LOTD and BOGT really helped though.

Hey guys me and my friends have a crew going (NBA Ballers) for me and my friends but if anyone needs a crew join up. You will only be up to muscle and the rank above that but more crew members always helps, thanks guys.
Also for the soundtrack as a Hip-Hop fan is astounding. They stepped up their game with tracks from Geto Boys, Kauious, King Tee, MC Eiht, etc. I'm just still hoping for that east coast hip-hop station we got in San Andreas, would love to see forthright MC make a return.

I preordered mine on Saturday. GS wouldn't let me do the $80 special edition, so I just reserved the standard copy and a hardbound strategy book. That's usually how I am with games. If I can't or don't get a collector's version of a game, I'll get a collector's strategy guide to make up for the game.

I wonder if this game will do a pass for it's DLC. Either way it should get lots of playtime from me on the 360 since there are no other 360 games until Fable Anniversary in October.

it happened. i finally had a dream about this game.
i actually haven't been following the hype at all, just watched all the trailers. i am going in blind, hopefully that will make things better.

The main game was good, but there was too much emphasis on keeping the game "grounded" in reality. I really liked the story and action, but it was missing a lot of the fun that was in San Andreas and Vice City. I loved The Lost and Damned, as it had a solid, gritty story. Ballad of Gay Tony brought back a lot of the fun and goofiness. |
