Okay gang, after this piece, only 4 more topics left. They will be: Green Cards, Rings, Bagged Figures and Errors. 1994 The Dark Blue Card Series consisted of 10 figures: Luke 2, Butch 2, Marty Janetty 2, Giant Gonzales, Samu, Fatu, Shawn 3, Shawn 4, Razor 2 and Razor 3. The Hasbro catalog pic below only shows the 6 newer figures: Here is a basic cardback from this assortment: Here is a pre-production sample cardback of Giant Gonzales. The figure in the package is the same as the regular release, just the package is slightly different.: Next up is the sketch of ol' Gonzales: For a brief moment, Hasbro kicked around the idea of making Shawn 4 and Razor 3 as mailaways, but that never came to be. Those 2 figures were added to the case shortly after the inital shipments were released. That's it for now, please keep the feedback coming. Although I have a lot of WWF Hasbro knowledge, I'm hoping to learn from members here as well.

Could I see loose/MOC pics of Shawn 3, Shawn 4, Razor 2 and Razor 3?
I saw they were in the set, I'd atleast like to see what they look like :-)
Thanks, and as always, I enjoy the read. I hope green card series is extremely long! I've always wanted an extensive background about that series.

Awesome sketch of Giant Gonzalez. I can't wait to read the history of the green card series. Hasbromaniac, might you lighten us on why the entire series re-used old sculpts and not new ones? Out of the whole set of Hasbro figures, I felt that the last series was overrated. It did have great names, but it looked too rushed.

awesome as always mate - i like the skin tone better on the pre production Shrinkers than on the actual store release. I always found they were a little too dark

i am hoping he adds that jerry lawler was supposed to have a figure it was shown in one of the WWF Magazines along with others. I wonder if he will mention the series after the green cards and who was supposed to be in it

Out of the whole set of Hasbro figures, I felt that the last series was overrated. It did have great names, but it looked too rushed. Actually if you think about it. Hasbro used more orginal sculpts than Jakks ever did and ever will...They only reused a hand full of sculpts.

I've never seen that magazine in which you're referring to. I'll have to double check as I do have almost all WWF mag issues from 1990 -1994.
As to the rumores "Orange Set', I'll let the readers give their feedback on them as there never was a reliable source on them.
