Has anyone been reading this series? Alright, i'm a guy who has been a Grant Morrison fanatic from the first time I picked up his Animal Man run and his amazing work on Batman and Robin was great. But in all honesty, the current New 52 Batman and Robin seems to be even better IMO. I was really nervous having Bruce and Damian be the Batman/Robin team when the series was first announced, but i've been highly impressed with the way this creative team has managed to absolutely kill it with this book. The end of issue 8 nearly had me in tears. I've never really had that happen from a comic book until then. I'll say that the Scott Snyder Batman series is still my #1 pick, but damn, this series is giving it a run for it's money. Check it out if you haven't already. There really isn't anything you need to know beforehand other than the fact that Batman and Robin are father/son.

After the crapfest Night of the Owls turned into the Batman and Robin comic has become my favorite Batman title. I was worried Bruce and Damian would do nothing but bicker, and even when they did it was interesting. Seeing Damian pick on the other Robins is a nice way to settle him into the legacy and Bruce having to deal with being Batman and a father is a new hing on a very old door in relation to the Batman/Robin situation. Everything with Damian hits Bruce harder than with Dick or Tim.

I just can't buy any more Robin's at this point. Bruce started as Batman in his early 20's. Since then Dick was Robin as a 12-13 yr old and grew into a man and left. Then Jason Todd took over. He is now an adult. Tim Drake took over after that. He is now an adult. Batman has to be in his 50s by now and he's running around with another 13-14 year old? WTF?

Let's say Dick was 12 when he became Robin and left at 20, there is 8 years. Jason lasted no more than a year or two. Tim came around at age 13 or 14. and lasted to 17 or 18. That is a total of 15 years or so, which would mean Bruce can be no older than 40 if he partnered up with a Robin at age 25.
