I do this unintentionally with all the lines I collect. Some I open right away, but sometimes I hold off, they pile up, and then it's a big event when I get to them. It’s a recent thing for me, I always used to just open everything right away but not so much anymore haha. I’ve also got a few AEW figures on ice for whenever that opening party finally happens. |

im waiting until i can display my NECA turtles properly before i open them all
right now i just have the 18" ones out because those were all i had for years. but ive amassed so much of the toon and movie line now i want to get a detolf when i re-design my toy room/office and just have that be the Turtles display

Got my Chrome Dome today. My friend found it in the store by him and shipped it over. I like the look of it, but for now he's in my pile of unopened TMNT NECA figures that I don't have room to display yet. One day I'm gonna have an awesome opening party. Atilla/Napoleon when they arrive, Genghis/Rasputin, Mondo Gecko, Chrome Dome, Shadow Super Shredder, and an Ultimate Foot Soldier. I do this unintentionally with all the lines I collect. Some I open right away, but sometimes I hold off, they pile up, and then it's a big event when I get to them. I'm currently in that position with the Super7 Turtles. I have the first two waves and the SDCC GITD Baxter unopened. I still haven't gotten around to grabbing the third wave. |

The only issue I run into by not opening right away is sometimes the secondary market value shoots up, and then I feel like opening is a mistake even though I never sell anything. It's my practical side coming out. It's actually a bit frustrating because I buy to open haha

Great setup! Chrome Dome looks awesome, I’ve still gotta open mine. I saw Atilla and Napoleon today, after already ordering from NECA haha. And I saw the photo they showed of the prototype Tokka and Rahzar cartoon versions, which look like they’ll be cool too. |

Still need to track down Atilla and Napoleon, went looking today and nothing. The cartoon Tokka and Rahzar do look pretty great, I kind of thought I was done after I complete the frogs and possibly the Channel 6 set, but I might be in on those 2 also.

found the ultimate casey jones at walmart this morning. they had 8 of them in stock..i got one for me and one for my buddy. that was definitely the quickest and easiest search i've had for any of the neca tmnt figures

picked up the oroku saki and hamato yoshi 2 pack at walmart today
but it was more of an impulse/fomo move than anything, i dont really know if i really want or need that pack
what is everyone's thoughts on it?

Exactly the same as yours. Told myself I was done with the movie line since I’m all in with Neca cartoon and Super7. But once I saw it in person I instantly felt the fomo and picked it up. |

If it was a mistake, I’d figure I would have been refunded since I ordered it in July. But I’ll keep a look out. |

if im being honest, im a little.....underwhelmed. the shirt is kinda ugly. the extras are OK, and while Danny is super cool and I'm glad to own it, I think they just missed with the likeness. its close though.
will post some pics later

But I've seen some of the pack-in stuff, the shirt is really hit-and-miss with people. I like the early '90s feel, but I'll probably never wear it. I've seen that Danny is much shorter than he should be, which is unfortunate but it won't ruin the figure for me. |

My crate arrived. I like Danny even though he’s small. He looks good, and with some posing you can minimize the height disparity. Still kind of a bummer, but this is really the first time the movie line has really messed up (aside from April’s knees being unappealing for some people).
