If you bought/pre-ordered the new Playmates retro bundles from Amazon, you might want to go check your orders. My orders recently updated to say they are arriving tomorrow. Not the end of the month as previously estimated. It showed they shipped, but I could see them getting delayed to Saturday. If they show up in the next day or so, I am going to be very excited. I will probably get the Monsters bundle when I get paid next week. Just checked my movie turtles with splinter will arrive on sunday!! Bro order the monster bundle they are sweet. I collect og reissues for me 2003 for my son and 2012 for my nephew. What a great time for collecting tmnt. IT is a fantastic time to be collecting TMNT, even if you are sticking to just Playmates. It is really something special to be able to pick back up toys you had as a kid but gave away or lost centuries ago. I wish more companies did this.

Ok so I received my movie star 4pk with splinter from Amazon and compared the super shredder, foot soilder and rahzar with the other 4pk movie turtles, the one that came with tokka, and all three have different paint. Has anyone else notice these differences?

Has anyone else notice these differences? Yeah, I have seen the foot soldier once, and it was definitely a darker color than the original release. And not to be mean, but the product pictures were honest and accurate. White helmet Super Shredder instead of black. Pink nose Rahzar. I finally ordered the Monster Mutants bundle. Should be delivered tomorrow.

I opened up the Casey Jones/Rat King/Slash/Mutagen Man bundle. A few notes:
1. I never had Slash as a kid; Never wanted the evil turtle. But did you know Tokka shares the same body mold as him? I was looking at the body of my Slash figure and started thinking this looks really familiar. Went and grabbed my Tokka figure, and yeah, same mold. According to TMNT wiki, they share everything besides arms and head sculpt. Both even have the same weapons. I did not know this.
2. Why does Rat King have articulation in his torso? Him and April are the only ones I can see that have that. Seems like it would have been cheaper and easier on Playmates to make him like all of the other figures. Why was he deemed special?
Update: Nov 3 Today at Walmart I found Pigeon Pete. A little bit of a banged up card, but that was the first time I had seen and decided to go ahead and grab. I am now caught up on everything I "Need"(first world/action figure definition) TMNT-wize. A few things out there I might still get if I run across them. I am still going back and forth if I want to get the East River Three, but its not a "need" as above. Kinda want to pick up another Super Shredder if I run across one again. Still looking for the 87 Foot Soldier, but I know a know a good chunk of the fandom is in that boat.
Target currently has their TMNT stuff on BOGO 50%, including the pizza thrower.

Another review of the Technodrome, this time from Pixel Dan.
Basically reiterating that this is not a re-release of the original playset, but a new toy designed to look like it. And his review continues to show that the action figures meant for it can barely use it.
It makes me wonder if the possible future release of the turtle sewer will be shrunk down about 10 to 15% like this. But that won't be as bad since the sewer playset was simply two boxes of play space connected to each other.

I have the original and it isnt THAT roomy to be making big changes.

You could fill that thing with a moderate amount of figures and still have room. To be fair: kid me used it for way more than just the turtles' sewer, putting everything from Star Wars, Ghostbusters, Power Rangers in it. And those figures were not as bulky as TMNT, not taking up as much room.

I can fit April, Splinter and 2 turtles in the main room....Don on the periscope etc. Great set....lot of fun battles had on it and like you? not just with TMNT. Actually? I used it more for 90s Marvel figs....LOL.

Walmart app actually just let me place an order for Tatsu. Let’s see if they really fulfill the order or if they cancel on me.
