I really don't see why people are making such a big fuss about the briefcase, honestly. There's no way in hell Big Show was meant to win. Cena was clearly winning the match, and the spot was set up just like the finish. Again, Kane was down, and Jericho and Miz had clearly taken their final bumps. At most, they probably had to cut a few more seconds of struggle between Cena and Big Show. Cena was wailing on Show with the briefcase. He more than likely would have fallen off after a few more shots, and Cena would have just unhooked it. It's not like the match ended super early and they cut the show short. It went twenty one minutes, it was 10:45. We're talking seconds here. People only complaint because they see something that they doesn't want to see. I agreed about Cena situation. I can see it by myself. Miz and Jericho clearly take a final bumped from Big Show's punches. But yeah, it is what most of WF people do, complainting about something. Instead says "Ah well it is awful PPV" but they would keep on and on. Because they dont like what they saw on TV, etc.

The Smackdown Money in the Bank match started out so sloppy but then everyone managed to pull off what I would call a very exciting match. Loved some of those spots. Just wish they would have all been pulled off. Happy Ziggler won. I can't stop watching your sig. That bump was insane

It went twenty one minutes, it was 10:45. We're talking seconds here. Ya because you wrote the script? Show could have come back and still won.. we won't really know if Cena was suppose to win until we see how it plays out. The look on his face was just like "whoops! i won" not selling the hard fought victory like he does... all of us have seen Cena win MANY MANY times and has he ever looked or acted like that after a victory? don't think so... so there is room to think he wasn't suppose to win. The odds of anyone other than Cena being planned to win that match are slim to pretty much none. How that can't be plain for anyone to see is beyond me. The match was built around him. The direction they're taking is obvious. Anyone else winning that match would have made absolutely no sense. WWE has been hell bent on making sure the final match of a Pay-Per-View either sends the crowd home happy or leaves them completely dumbfounded. Having Show win would have done neither. Normally I would agree that we don't know what goes on, but come on. This was a tiny hiccup and nothing more. Cena looked shocked because he just ripped the damn briefcase off of the handle. That wasn't supposed to happen, clearly. But the finish had obviously come. Big Show punched out Jericho, he punched out The Miz, and he attempted to punch out Cena, which Cena blocked with the briefcase. That was it. That was the finish. It's as clear and cut and dry as it gets. Not to mention there wasn't a single second of hesitation from any of the commentators. Everything was completely smooth. Cole screws up on a regular basis. As does King. Everything that comes out of Booker T's mouth is generally in error. You mean to tell me that if Show was supposed to win, something wouldn't have sounded genuinely wrong in one of their voices? They moved on exactly as planned. Continue to believe whatever you'd like, that some crazy mistake ruined WWE's plans tonight, I'll continue to believe exactly what I saw.

I was fine with the WWE Title ladder match, I mean, it was obvious Cena was winning. The fact that he was shocked to have done so made it funny. What let me down was the WWE title match itself. I felt like both men were capable of doing better, and as said before, there was no furthering of the storyline. Just AJ being a bitch.
Whatever, I'm just excited for both men to go on to their next feud.

The match started off with two botches but the match picked up after that. Powerbomb onto the Ladder, Tensai tossing Ziggler over the Announce Table, Rhodes Suplexing Kidd off the Ladder, Christian's Spear to Rhodes off the Ladder and Tyson Kidd's Powerbomb onto Ziggler from ladder to ladder.

Also, Tyson Kidd was INCREDIBLE in that match. I expected nothing less from him, but he showed why he deserves to be in these types of matches as opposed to the dark match.

WHC MITB was fun and I'm glad Ziggler won. I didnt think they would actually give him the win, but they did. But a true testament Dolph Ziggler booking, they fake a cash-in and have him get killed. So stupid. I really hope he breaks away from Vickie soon and win the belt in an actual match like RVD did. WHC match itself was meh.
The WWE Title Match was great, but I did get annoyed at how much they focused the camera on AJ. And this is coming from a person who really loves him some AJ. There was really no payoff here so I guess they will follow up on RAW?
The WWE MITB was wayyy better than I thought it would be. The Miz being in was great but it was spoiled for me because I saw a MITB shirt with him on it before the show. I hope they take him in new direction. IM AWESOMMMME has run its course. The finish was derpy but it was creative. I give them props for that. Normally I would be mad at Cena winning and main eventing but I look forward to the upcoming Punk/Cena feud. Especially after that backstage segment Punk had with Eve, where she told him he was always overshadowed by Cena. Theres something cool coming, and I cant wait to see what role The Rock plays in it.

Good PPV...just not alot really happened.....They could have done some nice twists and turns. Looks like they are saving everything for the 1000th show.

The WHC MITB is quite seriously the scariest ladder match I have ever seen. I'm quite surprised that no one got SERIOUSLY hurt.

I can't believe people are making such a fuss over the ending to the WWE Title MITB match. It was obvious when Cena announced he was going to be in the match, that he was going to win it.

IMO, this year's Money in the Bank was boring compared to last year's event. It was too predictable, had plenty of unannounced matches, and was pretty lackluster. Your thoughts?

I'll give it a 4 out of 5 and that's generous. It would be pretty hard to top last year's MITB as IMO not only was it PPV of the year, but the best PPV in years.

There's an Official Thread where people have been discussing it since before the show started... and after the show ended. Why couldn't you just post your thoughts in there?

What I think is that we have an official MITB thread for a reason...

It's pretty obvious that the finish was supposed to be Cena knocking big show off with the briefcase then unhooking it. The fact that the handle broke is the part that surprised him. I personally think that made the finish even better though Anyway, my thoughts on the show: MitB 1- A few rough spots, but pretty excellent over all. I'm really happy they gave Kidd the chance to shine, and was also please with Tensai's work in the match. I'm Thrilled Ziggler won, but will admit I got excited the time Sandow almost got the case. A lot of fun World title: Pretty good match, but both guys have done better. Tag match: I enjoyed it a lot. I'm really happy WWE has tag teams again. WWE Title: Simple amazing from start to finish. I'm pretty sure this is true any time these two are in the ring together, but match of the night hands down. Ryback: Pretty good for what it was. I liked that he was on the defensive for a lot of the match. I just hope Reks and Hawkins get away from him now and focus on tag teams again divas: It was what it was. Mitb 2: Fantastic match. I loved the more simple style of this one. It also lead to fewer mistakes It was set up pretty much perfectly and everyone did very well in it. I loved when Kane threw the ladder to prevent the briefcase from being grabbed. the early spot with Show was a good way to take him out for a while and the "F-ing giant ladder" as King put it was awesome. As already stated, the case being ripped off the hook made the finish for me. I've always wanted that to happen, and now it did. I don't mind Cena winning the match. He's not my first choice, but he did a great job. Also, I can see him announcing the match ahead of time and being the first person to lose. People say that pretty much every year. But in the past it's been used to make someone and them not doing what everyone else had would probably have been a set back in their careers. Cena doesn't need the win, he's already the biggest star they have. They finally have someone who can break the precedent without doing damage to their career. Of course, I'm also being a bit selfish because I want Punk to at very least break the 280 day reign shared by Cena, JBL, and Yokozuna. and that won't happen until the week after Summerslam. Really, I'd like Punk to go a full year or more, but I'll take what I can get.

I enjoyed this PPV, more so because of the comments my dad and older cousin would say during the Money in the Bank Ladder matches. The Smackdown MITB was good, but I saw a lot of botches and I cringed at every bump Ziggler did, especially the one where Tensai threw him at the announcer's chairs. So glad Ziggler won the match! The World Title for me was boring at first, but then it got exciting for me. The tag team match was ok. A.W. was hilarious. I would have had the Primetime Players win this match to build momentum for when they face Kofi and Truth for the Tag Team Titles. The WWE Title match was my favorite match to watch. I especially liked that they got a hell lot of time. I wish we would have gotten a payoff with AJ instead of just her standing there with a sad look on her face, but I guess there will be a payoff tonight or next week. The Ryback match and the Divas match was my bathroom/snack break. The main event Money in the Bank was ok, but way too predictable for me. Overall, I would give this PPV a 7/10, if the WWE Title wasn't as good as it was, it would have been a 5/10 for me.

You can't compare it to last year. Last year's MitB had an excitement around it that hadn't been scene in 10 years.
I really enjoyed the show overall. The crowd was hot and the matches were good. You really can't ask for more than that.
Not to mention that Punk vs. Bryan was brilliant once again. These guys always knock it out of the park.

Why not just post in the official thread?
I'll still post my thoughts though. I enjoyed the PPV Ziggler winning and Punk/Bryan was well worth the money for me. I don't care if its predictable that Ziggler won i'm just happy he's almost guaranteed to be a champion.
